Fatah Central Committee member praises terrorist stabbers: “They performed a miracle by imposing a curfew within Israel with knives and rocks”

Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki: “It is enough that you dance with joy when Yasser Arafat’s name is mentioned, that great man… who trusted the lion cubs and flowers (i.e., young boys and girls) and said: ‘You must continue to wave the flag, and the ones who wave it over the walls and minarets and mosques of Jerusalem if there is peace, are the boys and girls, their grandchildren,’ and if there is not peace – they will have to wave the flag in the Triangle (i.e., a concentration of Israeli-Arab towns and villages in northern Israel), the Galil, and the Negev. Yasser Arafat’s prophecy is still valid – this people is greater than its leadership. The determination, willpower, and willingness to die for a dignified life are present among the youth who carried a knife after the disappearance of the Arab leadership, and even the Palestinian. They performed a miracle by imposing a curfew within Israel with knives and rocks. Blessings to the mothers and fathers who gave birth to those who are marching on the path of light, without anyone having demanded it of them... [ Zaki to the audience] I bless you sincerely with all my heart, in the name of the Fatah Central Committee and in the name of the leadership, which has decided – after giving everything for peace – to define the options against this Zionist enemy, and has ended the security coordination. Anyone who talks about renewing the relations with Israel is not a Palestinian and not a member of Fatah!"

Note: This was from a speech at the UNRWA Ramallah Women’s Training Center and Educational Science Faculty’s graduation ceremony, held at Palestinian Red Crescent headquarters in Ramallah.
“The young people who carried a knife“ refers to the many stabbing attacks carried out by Palestinians during the terror wave (2015-2016) – Several months of Palestinian violence and terror attacks against Israelis, ‎including stabbings, shootings, throwing rocks and molotov cocktails, and car rammings. The wave was at its height from October 2015 through March 2016, but one man was killed in September 2015 and sporadic attacks continued after March 2016, including a bus bombing in Jerusalem on April 19, 2016.
