“[PA] Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Governor of the [Jerusalem] District Adnan Al-Husseini called on Sri Lankan Representative in Palestine Fawzan Anver yesterday [Aug. 4, 2016], in a reception held for him in [Al-Husseini’s] office in the Al-Barid neighborhood [in northeast Jerusalem], to advance the movement of tourists from south and east Asia to Jerusalem, Palestine, and the sites holy to Islam and Christianity, which will strengthen the Islamicness of this land, disprove the Israeli narratives, and expose the occupation’s false claims.
He noted that the occupation authorities are pushing the region towards an abyss by their blatant desecration of the sites holy to Islam and Christianity, and particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and their use of forgery and distortion in order to reverse the historical and religious facts.”
