After Israel transferred body of terrorist, PA plants trees to commemorate him and “emphasize loyalty to Martyrs’ souls”

Official PA TV News, on a tree planting event held by the Halhoul Municipality near Hebron in a sign of loyalty to the “Martyrs”

Official PA TV newsreader: “The Halhoul Municipality, in cooperation with the North Hebron Directorate of Agriculture (i.e., branch of the PA Ministry of Agriculture), organized a tree planting event in the city. This event, whose title is Martyr (Shahid) Hamza Zamaarah (i.e., terrorist, wounded 1), emphasizes the Palestinian identity of this land, and the loyalty to the Martyrs’ souls.”
Halhoul Mayor Hijazi Mur’ib: “We are planting the first sapling of our trees in front of the home of the Martyr’s father. This home where the deceased Martyr Hamza grew up and was educated. We are carrying out this activity in the streets of Halhoul in order to mark the memory of the Martyrs and commemorate their souls.”
Terrorist Zamaarah’s mother: “Of course I feel satisfied and very happy that this was for my son, Martyr Hamza Zamaarah. The significance of the tree is first of all life – that life continues.”

Hamza Zamaarah – Palestinian terrorist who stabbed and wounded an Israeli security guard at the entrance to Karmei Tzur near Hebron on Feb. 7, 2018. Zamaarah was shot and killed during the attack by another security guard.
