PA forms new committee to fight against Israeli “incitement against the education sector”

      “The Dealing with the Israeli Incitement Against the Education Committee, led by [PA] Minister of Education and Higher Education [and Fatah Central Committee Deputy Secretary] Sabri Saidam, held its first meeting yesterday [Oct. 27, 2018] in the ministry’s headquarters in order to discuss the response mechanism to the ongoing Israeli incitement against the education sector, particularly in Jerusalem.
Present at the meeting were the director-generals of the [PA] Ministries of Education, Information, and Women’s Affairs… and [PA] Government Spokesman Yusuf-Al-Mahmoud…
Saidam called on the international community to bear responsibility and stand by our people against this attack, and emphasized the need to muster all possible efforts in order to realize the desired goals in this context. Saidam said that all the bodies need to cooperate with the committee, and praised the ideas and the work plan presented on the topic. He noted the difficulties of this stage, in the shadow of the occupation’s methodical attack against the education sector, and expressed confidence in the committee’s ability to realize its goals with all of its might.”
