Palestinian flag is wonderful "soaked in the blood of the Martyrs," says Abbas’ Fatah

A bloodied Palestinian flag lying on the ground is reason to rejoice according to Abbas’ Fatah Movement’s Bethlehem branch, which posted the photo above with text glorifying the spilling of “the blood of the Martyrs”:

An image of a man in an Arab headdress leaning over barbed wire and planting a flower with bleeding hands was also posted by Fatah. Accompanying text emphasized that it is with “blood” that Palestinians are “sowing the land”:

The PA and Fatah continuously state that “all means” are legitimate in the “struggle against the occupation” and in the process of building a Palestinian state. “All means” include the use of violence and terror - when these are viewed as beneficial. Therefore Fatah repeatedly promotes the ideal of Martyrdom-death and spilling one's blood for "Palestine."
Palestinian Media Watch has reported on the PA and Fatah’s encouragement of Palestinians to “water the soil with your blood,” and PA leaders’ appreciation and veneration for the blood of the “Martyrs” - the majority of whom are terrorists killed during their attacks against Israelis. One example was PA governor of Ramallah Laila Ghannam who glorified the “Martyrs” for “perfuming the ground with the scent of their blood.” Fatah also posted an image of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas with the text above promoting “sowing the land” with blood:

Fatah posted the above posts the day after tens of thousands of Palestinians gathered on the border between Gaza and Israel in what was called "the March of Return." Hamas had called for a "peaceful" demonstration, but riots ensued led by Hamas activists, and Palestinians threw rocks and fire bombs at Israeli military across the border and also opened fire on them. Shooting at main instigators and those breaching the security fence, the Israeli army killed 18 Palestinians, the majority of whom were Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists.
