Following Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström's anti-Israel statements last week, PMW director Itamar Marcus was invited by Swedish MP Mikael Oscarsson to Swedish Parliament to discuss the current Palestinian terror wave.

Marcus will show that PA and Fatah leaders have been active supporters of the current terror campaign, encouraging the terror, and honoring, glorifying and rewarding the terrorists.

Marcus will also respond to Swedish FM Wallström's statement last week in which she called to investigate what she said may be "extrajudicial killings" of Palestinians. Marcus will demonstrate how such statements only serve to perpetuate the current terror campaign and the PA's promotion of continued terror.

The event will begin at 11:45 AM EST and 6:45 PM Israel Time and can be viewed live here:

The following is a statement from Itamar Marcus about the event:

"Both the Palestinian Authority and Fatah, each headed by Mahmoud Abbas, are promoting, supporting, and endorsing the current wave of Palestinian terror. Abbas has not condemned even one murder of an Israeli nor any of the attacks. On the contrary, PA and Fatah officials have glorified the murderers, expressed "pride" in them, and called them "Martyrs" and "heroes." Senior Palestinian leader Jibril Rajoub said that Palestinian murderers and attackers are "a crown on the head of every Palestinian," and added that the international community does not care about these murders.
The EU and Sweden cannot ignore these facts, nor their own responsibility for the continuation of the terror. The European failure to act against the PA and Fatah's incitement to murder is perceived by Jibril Rajoub and the PA as acceptance of murder.
Swedish Foreign Minister Wallström made this a Swedish issue when she called to investigate what she said may be "extrajudicial killings" of Palestinians. The PA daily has since called her a hero.
Sweden's failure to take political disciplinary action against Rajoub, such as prohibiting his entry into Sweden, for inciting to murder and claiming international support for it, is giving the PA the green light to continue murdering Jews."
