Oslo mayor awarded with “Jibril Rajoub” plaque with map erasing Israel on it

     “The Al-Quds Girls team continued its activities and participation in the N orway Cup [football] championship, in which many Palestinian teams are participating alongside teams from different countries around the world, under the auspices of the Bank of Palestine and Palestinian programs. In a phone conversation, administrative manager of the Palestinian team Khitam Mahmoud said that on Tuesday [July 31, 2018] the team visited the Oslo Municipality building, where they were welcomed by [Oslo] Mayor M arianne Borgen, in the presence of many Palestinian teams… At the end of the meeting, Khitam Mahmoud gave the mayor the Jibril Rajoub Plaque.”

Jibril Rajoub is Chairman of the Palestinian Football Association and also holds the following positions: Fatah Central Committee Secretary, Head of the PLO Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Palestine Olympic Committee, and Chairman of the Palestinian Scout Association (PSA).

The article includes a picture of Al-Quds Girls team administrative manager Khitam Mahmoud giving Oslo Mayor Marianne Borgen the “Jibril Rajoub Plaque,” which includes the PA map of “Palestine” that presents all of Israel as “Palestine” together with the PA areas, and on top of it what appears to be the Al-Aqsa Mosque and a Palestinian flag.
