PA daily article calls terrorists from Jerusalem synagogue attack “Martyrs”

Headline: “Four settlers killed in attack on Benei Torah Synagogue – Netanyahu orders destruction of the homes of perpetrators Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal and declares highest-level alarm”

“[Two] young men from the Jabal Mukkaber municipality south of Jerusalem carried out an attack yesterday morning [Nov. 18, 2014] on the ‘Bnei Torah’ synagogue in the Israeli neighborhood of Har Nof, situated on [the site of] the village of Deir Yassin west of Jerusalem, which the occupation calls ‘Givat Shaul.’ In the attack, which took place at 7 a.m., 4 Israelis were killed and at least 7 others were wounded, four of them very seriously. One of [the wounded] was a police officer who was hit in the head by a bullet during a confrontation with one of the perpetrators at the synagogue entrance (he later died of his wounds, bringing the number of fatalities to 5). Security Forces succeeded in killing the two perpetrators, Ghassan Abu Jamal, 29, and Uday Abu Jamal, 22, cousins from the Jabal Mukkaber municipality…
The attack recalled the armed attack carried out by Martyr Alaa Abu Dheim from Jabal Mukkaber 7 years ago, when he infiltrated the Mercaz Ha-Rav synagogue (sic. – should be Yeshiva) in West Jerusalem… The attack, which left 8 Israelis dead, remains an embarrassing mystery for the Israeli Security Forces… The family of the two Martyrs Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal called their act ‘a natural response to the occupation’s crimes and the daily attacks on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.’ Martyr Ghassan’s father said: ‘They [Israel] are destroying homes and [have been] occupying our land since 1967. They are humiliating it and invading the Al-Aqsa Mosque. What is happening [now] is a natural response.’”
