Jenin district governor conveys Abbas’ condolences to families of three terrorists who murdered Israeli policewomen

“Jenin District Governor Ibrahim Ramadan, Fatah Central Committee members, [Fatah Central Committee member] Mahmoud Al-Aloul, and [Fatah Central Committee Member and Commissioner of Foreign Branches] Jamal Muhaisen, representatives of Fatah’s West Bank branches and heads of the security establishment… expressed condolences over the death of the three Martyrs (Shahids) from Qabatiya – Ahmad Abu Al-Rub, Muhammad Kmeil and Ahmad Zakarneh – in Jerusalem who were shot by the occupation. It should be noted that following the operation (i.e., terror attack) carried out by the three Martyrs, the occupation forces laid a three-day siege on Qabatiya…
District governor Ramadan conveyed [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas’ condolences to the families of the three Martyrs and all the residents of Qabatiya.
He emphasized Qabatiya’s role in the struggle and its resolve, and said: ‘We have come to offer our condolences over the [death] of the Martyrs, as the Martyrs of Qabatiya are the Martyrs of our people, since they sacrificed the most precious thing they owned for Palestine.’
He added that our Martyrs’ blood will continue to illuminate the path of liberation and return [of the Palestinian refugees to Palestine] and that today, more than ever, we are in need of national unity, in order to complete the Martyrs’ journey toward freedom. Mahmoud Al-Aloul stated in a speech he gave in the name of the [Fatah] Central Committee… that our people is demonstrating its unity and its strength against the occupation every day. He added that our people is a group of heroes, all of them like the three Martyrs, who were brought up on the love of the homeland and sacrifice for it, and it is not strange that our people is making sacrifices when it sees its holy sites desecrated and its land Judaized.”
Ahmad Abu Al-Rub, Ahmad Zakarneh and Muhammad Kmeil - Three Palestinian terrorists in their early 20's who shot and stabbed two Israeli police officers at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem on Feb. 3, 2016. One of the officers, 19-year-old Hadar Cohen, was fatally wounded and died of her wounds. The second officer was seriously wounded. The terrorists, who attacked the policewomen after they were asked for identification, were carrying machine guns, knives, and pipe bombs, leading the police to suspect they were planning a mass attack against civilians. The terrorists were shot and killed at the scene by Israeli police.
