PFLP takes responsibility for Jerusalem terror attack which was part of "blood oath to the Palestinian people to... [establish] our state... from the [Jordan] River to the Mediterranean [Sea]"

Headline: "The Popular Front took responsibility for the Al-Buraq Promise operation that was carried out yesterday in Jerusalem"
"The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) early this morning, Saturday [June 17, 2017], took responsibility for the combined Jerusalem operation, the Al-Buraq Promise operation (i.e., terror attack, 1 murdered) that took place yesterday in occupied Jerusalem. [The Front] emphasized that the operation was carried out in order to emphasize the path of resistance and respond to the occupation's crimes and targeting of the holy sites.
The PFLP said in a statement it published: 'The PFLP informs the masses of the Palestinian people about the death of the heroes of the village of Deir Abu Mash'al, the two heroic released prisoners Bara Ibrahim Saleh Ata, 18, and Osama Ahmed Mustafa Ata, 19, and Martyr (Shahid) Adel Hassan Ahmed Ankoush, 18. On Friday evening these three carried out the Al-Buraq Promise operation in the holy city of Jerusalem in order to emphasize the path of resistance and to respond to the occupation's crimes and targeting of the holy sites.'
The PFLP added that the heroic Martyrs fulfilled their wish to die as Martyrs on the streets of Jerusalem, and they are the ones that regularly terrorized with Molotov cocktails and rocks the occupation and settlers on the bypass roads, and at what is called the 'Halamish' settlement, which is adjacent to their village that stands firm, Deir Abu Mash'al. As a result of this resistance activity, Martyr Bara was imprisoned in 2015 for several months, and Martyr Osama was imprisoned in 2015 for a year and was responsible for [a group of] young comrades.
The PFLP again emphasized in the statement the blood oath to the Palestinian people to continue on the path of resistance until the return [of the Palestinian refugees], freedom, and the establishment of our state on all of the land of the Palestinian homeland from the [Jordan] River to the Mediterranean [Sea], with free and united Jerusalem as its capital."

Bara Saleh, Adel Ankoush, Osama Ata – three Palestinian terrorists who carried out a terror attack in Jerusalem on June 16, 2017. Two of the terrorists, one armed with an automatic weapon and the other with a knife, attacked Israeli police officers north of the Old City of Jerusalem. Seconds later a third terrorist stabbed and murdered Israeli border policewoman Hadas Malka, 23, at the Old City’s Damascus Gate as she and other officers were responding to the first attack. All three terrorists were shot and killed by the Israeli officers. Aside from Malka, four Israelis were wounded in the attack. ISIS initially claimed responsibility for the attack but Hamas rejected the claim, saying the terrorists were members of Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
