PA depicts a world without Israel
Future: A world without Israel
PA depicts a world without Israel
The Palestinian Authority makes no attempt to educate its people towards peace and coexistence with Israel. On the contrary, from every possible platform it repeatedly rejects Israel's right to exist, presents the conflict as a religious battle for Islam, depicts the establishment of Israel as an act of imperialism, and perpetuates a picture of the Middle East, both verbally and visually, in which Israel does not exist at all. Israel's destruction is said to be both inevitable and a Palestinian obligation.

The following description of Israel's founding in a Palestinian schoolbook represents the dominant dogma about Israel:

"Palestine’s war ended with a catastrophe that is unprecedented in history, when the Zionist gangs stole Palestine … and established the so-called State of Israel."
[Arabic Language, Analysis, Literature and Criticism, grade 12, p. 104]

This official PA map of "Palestine” was broadcast on PA TV in September 2011. The map includes both the PA areas and all of Israel (excluding the Golan Heights) wrapped in the Palestinian flag - a symbol of Palestinian sovereignty over the whole area - and has a key through it, symbolizing ownership. Similar maps presenting all of Israel as "Palestine" appear in Palestinian schoolbooks and are shown regularly on PA TV.
Future: A world without Israel
The PA promises its people that in the future, the State of Israel will be completely erased and replaced by a State of Palestine. A Fatah member of Palestinian parliament, Najat Abu Bakr, told PA TV that the PA supports and adopts the “stages plan.” To the world, the PA claims that the Palestinians seek the West Bank and Gaza Strip, when in fact the goal is all of Israel: “It doesn’t mean that we don’t want the 1948 borders, but in our current political program we say we want a state on the 1967 borders.” [PA TV (Fatah), Aug. 25, 2008]

Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki reiterated this position on Al-Jazeera TV:
“It is impossible to realize the inspiring idea or the great goal in one stroke… Israel will come to an end… If I say that I want to remove it from existence, this will be great, great, [but] it is hard. This is not a [stated] policy. You can't say it to the world. You can say it to yourself.” [Al-Jazeera TV, Sept. 23, 2011]

The following words from a song on official PA TV, which started to appear in 2012, expresses longing for the day that Jaffa, Acre, Haifa and the Galilee, all in Israel, will be part of “my country” (“Palestine”) where all cities would be accessible "with no borders":
"I wish I could enter my country with no borders...
I will go about in Bethlehem and in Al-Aqsa [Mosque], which is held captive...
I do not forget Jenin or Nablus, and the Galilee
I do not forget you, Jaffa…
To Jerusalem, to Ramle, to Acre, to Haifa, oh Lord...
I wish I could enter my country with no borders." [PA TV (Fatah), Feb. 9, 2012]

The PA’s using culture to long for the destruction of Israel is not new. Many examples can be seen in this section below, including a music video, which aired on official PA TV from 2007 – 2009 and promises the liberation of “Palestine,” listing numerous Israeli cities as “Palestine”:
"We will liberate the Land of the religions … Palestine is Arab in history and identity… From Jerusalem and Acre, from Haifa and Jericho and Gaza and Ramallah, from Bethlehem and Jaffa, Be'er Sheba and Ramle, and from Nablus to the Galilee, from Tiberias to Hebron.”

Finally, the newest PA schoolbooks teach that "Palestine will be liberated by its men, its women, its young ones and its elderly." [Arabic Language and the Science of Language, grade 12, p. 44]
At a PA-funded summer camp for kids, drawing of map of "Palestine" with text describing "Palestine's" borders that erases Israel
Source: Facebook page of the National Committee for Summer Camps, Aug. 2, 2017

Images and text shared on the Facebook page of the National Committee for Summer Camps, which receives money from the PA Budget

At a camp organized by the National Committee for Summer Camps, a drawing of the PA's map of "Palestine" was accompanied by the following text:

Text next to map: "Palestine
Location: The continent of Asia, eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea
Territory: 27,009 square kilometers (the combined size of Israel and the PA areas is roughly 27,000 square kilometers -Ed.)
Borders of Palestine: Lebanon on the north
The Gulf of Aqaba and Egypt on the south
Jordan on the east
The Mediterranean Sea on the west"

Significantly, the text's alternative "facts" reiterate the PA message that Israel doesn't exist or will not exist in the future. The description of "Palestine's" territory as 27,000 square kilometers includes the area of all of Israel in addition to the PA areas. The West Bank and Gaza together are 6,220 square kilometers. The description of "Palestine's" borders is also wrong, as it is Israel that borders Lebanon and the Gulf of Aqaba.
Song on Fatah-run TV: “I will not calm down until I see that the Zionist has left [my land]”

Fatah-run Awdah TV, music video of the song “My Path is Long” by Palestinian singer Ammar Hassan

Song lyrics:
“My path is long, O my mother,
It is full of thorns and fire,
O my mother, this is what was decreed,
I need not be silent and collapse,
It will not happen that the Zionist will sit in my place at home,
This is my land, and it is my honor,
I was educated on the love of my land,
O my mother, my home must return,
And I will give my son the key,
O my mother, I will not calm down until I see that the Zionist has left.”

Visual: At the end of the music video the arm of an adult is seen handing a key to the arm of a child, symbolizing the “right of return” of Palestinian refugees.

"The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) early this morning, Saturday [June 17, 2017], took responsibility for the combined Jerusalem operation, the Al-Buraq Promise operation (i.e., terror attack, 1 murdered) that took place yesterday in occupied Jerusalem. [The Front] emphasized that the operation was carried out in order to emphasize the path of resistance and respond to the occupation's crimes and targeting of the holy sites. The PFLP said in a statement it published: 'The PFLP informs the masses of the Palestinian people about the death of the heroes of the village of Deir Abu Mash'al, the two heroic released prisoners Bara Ibrahim Saleh Ata, 18, and Osama Ahmed Mustafa Ata, 19, and Martyr (Shahid) Adel Hassan Ahmed Ankoush, 18... PLO leader: Everyone knows our goal is to take all of Israel – “liberate all of Palestine”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, May 15, 2017

Palestinian National Council member Khaled Mismar: "The revolution broke out in 1965 (i.e., first Fatah terror attack) in order to liberate all of the land of Palestine (i.e., all of Israel), but circumstances didn't permit it... We have fought, and we have withstood everything, all the plots, but we will realize our goal. True, we agreed to receive only 20 or 22 percent of Palestine (i.e., West Bank and Gaza Strip), but a right is never lost as long as someone demands it. Every one of us knows what our goal is (i.e., to 'liberate all of Palestine')."

Lyrics: “O occupiers, leave my land…
Leave, leave, leave

This is my land, and the land of my forefathers,
We own the cause.”

The song was broadcast on the official PA radio station on occasion of Nakba Day - Palestinians commemorate Nakba Day on May 15, the day after the establishment of Israel. On May 15, 1948, combined forces from Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq joined local Arab forces in an attempt to eradicate the newly established State of Israel. The Nakba (Arabic = catastrophe) refers to the establishment of Israel, and the Arabs’ subsequent loss of the war, including the killing and displacement of Arab civilians that occurred during the war.

Land Day – an annual commemoration of the general strike and demonstrations organized by Israeli Arab residents of the Galilee on March 30, 1976 to protest the Israeli government's decision to expropriate land in the Galilee for security and settlement purposes, which it later implemented. During the protests, demonstrators burnt tires, blocked roads, and threw rocks and firebombs. Six demonstrators were shot and killed by the Israeli army and police. Israeli Arabs and Palestinians consider Land Day a national day.
Hamas official says change to Hamas charter is "a tactical step," maintains "our land is all of Palestine"

"Member of the Hamas movement's political bureau Mahmoud Al-Zahar emphasized... in an interview with the Lebanese [TV] channel Al-Mayadeen that is close to Hezbollah... that the new document that Hamas will publish does not constitute a new face, but rather explains the reality and fundamentals of the movement.
He said: 'Our principles say that our land is all of Palestine, including the land that is under occupation (i.e., Israel).' He also noted that the talk in the document about establishing a state in the West Bank and Gaza 'is a tactical step that does not harm the right of the Palestinians to all of the land of Palestine.' Al-Zahar continued: 'We are not a copy of Fatah. We are not a copy of a failed project.' He noted that only the Jews who occupied Palestine are the movement's enemies, and not all of the Jews."

Hamas leader: "Expel them from the 1948 borders"
Source: Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), Mar. 8, 2017
Al-Aqsa TV, speech by Hamas leader Mahmoud Al-Zahar
Hamas leader Mahmoud Al-Zahar: “Allah says in the Quran: ‘And expel them from wherever they have expelled you’ (Quran, Sura 2:191, Sahih International translation). According to the grammarians , the word ‘from’ notes partialness. Where did the Jews expel us from? From the 1967 borders or from the 1948 borders (i.e., Israel)? From the 1948 borders. Expel them from the 1948 borders, like they expelled you. In other words, the Jews leaving the lands occupied in 1948 (i.e., Israel) is a principle that is unchangeable because it is mentioned in Allah’s book. ‘And expel them from wherever they have expelled you.’ ...We want Palestine, all of Palestine, and not one grain of soil less.
It is said in the Quran: ‘And kill them wherever you overtake them’ (Quran, Sura 2:191, Sahih International translation). We do not recognize the difference between the 1967 borders and the 1948 borders. We will resist them where we can. Aboveground, underground, and if we will have planes to fly we will fight them from the skies.”

Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 16, 2017
Headline: “Al-Agha warns…”

“PLO Executive Committee member and Director of the Department for Refugee Affairs Zakaria Al-Agha warned of a deliberate political blow to the Palestinian cause, including the cause of the refugees.
Media outlets reported on the plan of the so-called National Salvation Front in Syria for an arrangement with Israel. [This plan] includes abolishing the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria and turning them into residential areas…
Al-Agha said that the National Salvation Front in Syria, which we know does not represent the opinions of our Syrian brothers, has no right to seek to appease the occupation government at the expense of the Palestinian cause, the first and foremost cause of the Arabs. [He added that] the Palestinian refugee camps will remain a symbol of the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) of the Palestinian refugees, their being uprooted, their suffering, and their sacrifice, until they attain their full rights through their return to the homes from which they were uprooted, and this is according to the resolutions of the international institutions, and particularly UN General Assembly Resolution 194 from 1948.”

UN resolution 194 (Chapter 11, Dec. 11, 1948) states that "the refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbors should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return." Palestinian leaders argue this means that all Arabs who left Israel during the war (hundreds of thousands) and their descendants (a few million) have a "right of return" to Israel. Israel argues that the resolution only calls for a limited return and only under certain conditions, especially focusing on the words "wishing to return... and live at p

This policy change came during US President Barack Obama’s final weeks in office.

PFLP member: PLO plan for Palestinian state within the '67 borders is a "temporary goal and does not mean that Palestine belongs to the Jews"
Source: Wattan (independent Palestinian news agency)‎, Nov. 29, 2016
Headline: “If we had accepted the partition agreement 69 years ago, would our situation have been better? Wattan asks the opinions of analysts and the factions”
“Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) political bureau member Khalida Jarrar, in her interview with the [independent Palestinian news] agency Wattan, referred to [UN] partition Resolution 181 and asked how the Palestinians could have accepted the partition resolution at a time when Balfour had given a promise (i.e., the Balfour Declaration) that Palestine is the national homeland of the Jews! From this starting point, the refusal was a matter of principle as Palestine belongs to the Palestinians.
Jarrar denied the possibility of the implementation of the resolution at the time if the Palestinians had agreed to it, as the Zionist project is based on them settling in all of Palestine, and not in part of it.
Regarding the PLO, she said: ‘The national consensus plan of the PLO talked about a fully sovereign Palestinian state within the ‘67 borders as a temporary goal and does not mean that Palestine belongs to the Jews. It means that the matter depends on the right of return, in other words, a fully sovereign independent Palestinian state together with the right of all of the refugees to return to the homes from which they were expelled.’”

Official PA radio station The Voice of Palestine program A New Day, interview with PA Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad Al-Malki on his meeting with British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson

PA Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad Al-Malki:
“We spoke not only about the Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration) but also about several additional topics that we think are of great significance and which should be monitored together with the British officials. Regarding the Balfour Promise we pointed out that it is most important that Britain issue a new promise that will end the promise from 99 years ago. A new promise that will speak about Britain’s commitment to the Palestinian people’s right of self-determination, and Britain’s support for the establishment of a Palestinian state and the recognition of the State of Palestine, that is the minimum. Likewise we spoke about the historical responsibility of Britain in light of what happened as a result of the Balfour Promise and the apology required from Britain if it has the daring and the courage to bear responsibility in light of what happened to the Palestinian people as a result of the Balfour Promise...”

Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 30, 2016
Headline: “The Fatwa Council: Exploiting Jerusalem as part of the American election campaign constitutes disrespect of international law”
“The [PA Palestinian] Supreme Fatwa Council condemned the election promise that US Candidate Donald Trump made to recognize Jerusalem as the ‘united capital’ of Israel if he is elected as president…
The council warned of the regional consequences of an escalation in the rate of the invasions of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, which constitutes a red line for Muslims throughout the world. Likewise, it clarified that the occupation authorities have escalated the rate of their invasions of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque for what are called the Jewish holidays, and that these invasions reveal their aggressive intentions towards it and verify the falseness of their claim to commit to retaining the historic status quo that exists there… The council urged everyone who can come to the Al-Aqsa Mosque to invest the maximum efforts to reach it and strengthen the presence there so as to defend it, and emphasized that our people will adhere to their mosque, regardless of the price and sacrifices that will be required, until Allah inherits the land and everything in it.”

The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an "invasion." It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.

PA official in Abbas' name: Israel "doomed to disappear" like apartheid South Africa; belief that Jews are "Allah's people" is "the personification of racism"

Headline: “Tayeb Abd Al-Rahim: “The occupiers are doomed to disappear, and the future is ours”
“Secretary-General of the Presidential Office Tayeb Abd Al-Rahim said: ‘The occupiers are always doomed to disappear, and the aggressors are doomed to the dustbins of history... He clarified: ‘Everyone is saying now that this people needs its own state in the June 4 [1967] borders, with Jerusalem as its capital, but the occupation continues to act arrogantly, like all occupiers who try to ignore this fact. They are doomed as the racist regime in South Africa was doomed, and as the racist regime in Rhodesia - now Zimbabwe - was doomed… so are the tyrannical aggressors in our land doomed, who do not know what morals are, and who claim that their weapon is pure, while it is filthy with our blood. They talk about how they are the chosen people of Allah, and this is the personification of racism – the chosen people of Allah. [They talk] about the purity of their weapon, while it kills our children at checkpoints under one pretext or another. The occupiers are always doomed to disappear, and this is a fact that we must never forget.”

Preacher at the Al-Aqsa Mosque: “Palestine, the pearl in the Muslims’ crown, will not return [to the Muslims] until the caliphate is reestablished, soon, Allah willing.”
Source: YouTube channel "Aqsa Calls", May 20, 2016
A sermon by preacher Ali Abu Ahmad at the Al-Aqsa Mosque leading up to the month of Ramadan.
Ali Abu Ahmad: “Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque were lost when the Caliphate fell. Palestine, the pearl in the Muslims’ crown, will not return [to the Muslims] until the caliphate is reestablished, soon, Allah willing. Indeed, armies of the Ummah (i.e., Arab/Islamic nation), this is your hour, carry out acts before Allah that will find favor with Him. We ask of Allah at this time that He grant us in His generosity a new caliphate, and may it be soon, O Master of the Universe.
Allah, make your presence dwell in the hearts of the Muslim armies and their commanders, and turn them into the redeemers of Islam and the Muslims. Allah, defend the lives of the Muslims. Allah, protect Al-Aqsa Mosque from the impurity of the Jews. Allah, annihilate all of the Jews. Allah, place their heads in our hands.”

Ali Abu Ahmad, a Salafist, also sharply criticized the Palestinian Authority in his speech for its ties with Israel, and expressed his wishes for the destruction of all rulers of Arab lands so that it will be possible to establish a caliphate.

[Abbas] said: ‘We are inaugurating one of the most magnificent Palestinian buildings, which will guard and tell the memories of our people, while it lets future generations know that Palestine and its people have been here since the Canaanites, and are planted in this ground throughout time and long decades, and they have not left this land, not even for one moment.’…
District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Laila Ghannam said…‘The inauguration of this building that stirs pride shows that Palestine is a state that is only missing being rid of the occupation, which is trying to create history for itself at the expense of our history, but it is our history. We were here and will remain in our land, and the occupation will not last long.’”

“The terrorist [Israeli Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu promises not to give up the Golan. I say to him (through a third party because I cannot speak with him) [parentheses in source] that Tel Aviv is not his. The Golan is part of Syria, and all of Israel is occupied Palestine… What I say is that the occupation of Palestine is an evil thing that will end with the return of the occupiers to the place from where they came. I do not expect that the justice will include putting the members of the Israeli government on trial as the Nazis were put on trial after the fall of the Nazis, but just that they will leave, as Mahmoud Darwish requested when he said to them that they ‘pass between fleeting words’ and that they should take their names and get out from on us. All of their news is a crime or lies. The Jewish holiday of Passover falls on the 22nd of this month, and it marks the anniversary of the exodus of the Jews from Egypt. According to information I have received from two university professors, which was verified by my friend, the archeologist Zahi Hawass, this whole story is a biblical myth. I challenge them to bring me one archeological remnant from Egypt or Sinai, as I challenge them daily to bring me one Jewish archeological remnant from Jerusalem, or to show us a rock from the alleged Temple.”

Headline: “The lobby attributes Israel’s crimes to its enemies”
“I came across the Near East Report for March [2016] published by the Jewish lobby AIPAC. A torture [to read]. All of the terror in Israel is attributed to its enemies, clearly and scandalously relying on Congress’ support of the occupation, killing, and destruction. There was a main article titled The Island of Stability in the Middle East Emphasizes the Importance of the Strategy of the US-Israel Alliance. I tell you that this alliance is responsible for the lack of stability in the Middle East, and that Israel’s terror is what started all the other terror – from Al-Qaeda to ISIS, and everything in between… Congress members are talking about ‘the Palestinian terror.’ I tell them that the terror is Israel, and that this is terror funded by the [US] Congress, instead of it transferring funds to poor Americans. Afterwards, I will add that Israel is a fraud and a new phenomenon that has no basis in history or geography, and that Palestine is from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea.”

When a state is established and we take Jerusalem, the Zionist idea which inspired their hearts will collapse and they will leave, defeated, because they created the myth according to which Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria are The Promised Land, and they are Allah’s chosen people. They will not be Allah’s chosen people, Ursalim (i.e., infrequently used Arabic name for Jerusalem, parallel to Hebrew name) will be nothing but Al-Quds (i.e., more common Arabic name for Jerusalem), Samaria will be nothing but the Mountain of Fire (i.e., nickname for Nablus), and Hebron will be nothing but the capital of rage, until liberation.”

Fatah youth movement activist: Fatah's goal is "the liberation of Palestine from the [Mediterranean] Sea to the [Jordan] River", i.e., Israel's destruction

Fatah-run Awdah TV program Homeland Morning, a special episode in honor of the 51st anniversary of the Fatah Launch (Intilaqa), hosting Fatah youth movement Shabiba activist Haitham Abu Radwan

Fatah Shabiba activist Haitham Abu Radwan: “Today, after decades of Zionist occupation, the young Palestinians and the current Fatah generation prove each day that the Fatah movement is the pioneer, the movement that did and still does bring about the victories, because its primary principle is the liberation of Palestine from the [Mediterranean] Sea to the [Jordan] River. This is the principle upon which we have been educated and which was taught to us by the elder, Yasser Arafat. For this reason, the young Palestinians began the popular uprising, which still [continues] today with stabbing and car-ramming operations (i.e., terror attacks) and popular uprising through rock-throwing at every point of confrontation and conflict with the Zionist. The establishment of Fatah 51 years ago, and its anniversary today, are a single message: That its goal is the liberation of Palestine and a Palestinian state from the [Mediterranean] Sea to the [Jordan] River with Jerusalem as its capital.”

PLO official at rally for dead terrorist: “Our people will liberate its land, and the whole world, from the affliction of the Zionist project”
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, Nov. 14, 2015
Headline: “Ramallah: Rally to eulogize Martyr Muhannad Halabi”
“The rally to eulogize Martyr (Shahid) Muhannad Halabi, which the Islamic Jihad movement organized in the Salim Afandi Hall in El-Bireh on Saturday afternoon [Nov. 14, 2015], turned into a national wedding, during which everyone agreed on the importance of the continuation of the Jerusalem Intifada...
PLO Central Committee Member and Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) member Omar Shehadeh noted that Muhannad represents an example and role model for generations of young... He said: ‘Muhannad felt the danger of the Zionist movement more than 20 years after the fraud, lie and delusion of the peace of Oslo, and he is now a symbol of the popular liberation from the fraud and political deception.’ Shehadeh added: ‘Muhannad Halabi waved the flag of challenge at the Zionist project, which wanted to take advantage of the conditions in the Arab world which have led to our [Palestinian] cause being pushed aside, and he wished to deal with it by issuing a greater challenge, in order to prove that Palestine and we ourselves are stronger than death.’ He continued: ‘The Intifada which Halabi detonated succeeded in preventing the division of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and spoke out against the ghost of Jerusalem’s Judaization.’ In addition, he emphasized in this context his belief that in the end our people will liberate its land, and the whole world, from the affliction of the Zionist project.”

Israeli Arab MP explicitly calls for Jews to leave Israel

MP Ahmad Tibi: “My response to [Israeli Minister of Transportation and Minister of Intelligence and Atomic Energy] Yisrael Katz was: ‘You who pass through the sea of transient words / take your names and leave/ and take what you want from the sand of memory and leave.’ There are parliament members who understand Arabic. There was a bit of a stir. I told them, in order to be even clearer, that I would translate the poem into Hebrew. I translated it well. I read it to them in Hebrew and told them: The occupation will not persist. Yisrael Katz comes and Yisrael Katz goes, and Jerusalem and Nazareth forever stand strong. And I mean every word.”

Fatah states that Palestinians have “right” to state on “its entire homeland, not a small part of it”
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, Oct. 18, 2015
Headline: “The Fatah party supports uprising and calls on the [Palestinian] Legislative Council to convene”
“Fatah’s parliamentary party confirmed its support of the extensive popular uprising for the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its objection to the Judaization and the division (of the Al-Aqsa Mosque according to times and areas –Ed.).  The party emphasized the Palestinian people’s right to resist the occupation, the ‘oppressor that sits on our chest, until the liberation and establishment of a Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.’  The party stated in an announcement received by Ma’an [news agency]: ‘We are a people with a right to live like the rest of the peoples of the world, in an independent state on the land of its entire homeland, not on a small part of it, ruled by herds of settlers who ravage it.’
The party sent its honor and admiration to Palestine’s glorious women, who have always proved that they are partners and fighters who lead the ranks.’
Likewise, the announcement emphasized the importance of the unity and rallying around our right to fight and resist until victory and the establishment of the [Palestinian] state.”

"Division according to areas and times" refers to a proposed law (May 2013) being reviewed in Israeli Parliament that would allow for both Jews and Muslims to pray on the Temple Mount. The law seeks to designate separate prayer times and areas of the site for Muslims and Jews. Israeli PM Netanyahu has stated on many occasions that the Israeli government has no intention of ‎changing the status quo on the Temple Mount.

Poem read on PA TV: “The sea of Jaffa belongs to us, and the accursed took it from us, and it will return to us in the future”

“My mother told me that the sea of Jaffa belongs to us, and the accursed took it from us, and it will return to us in the future, because there is an orchard which belongs to the Diab Family and Alaa Al-Din family. My mother has died and Jaffa still awaits the return of the missing; even its loving sea longs for the exiled.
In the name of Allah tell me: Who will I cry for? The captive Al-Aqsa [Mosque], or the Martyrs, or the prisoners? Or I will say to you: The greatest sorrow is for all of you, O Palestine.”

: “PA Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Hussein calls to increase visits to Al-Aqsa”
“PA Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories and preacher at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein called to increase visits to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in order to thwart the escalating Israeli calls to invade the Al-Aqsa Mosque [compound ] and hold Talmudic ceremonies (i.e., Jewish prayers) in its pure courtyards. This was after the extremist Temple organizations called on their supporters to organize a Jewish demonstration in front of the Golden Gate (in Jerusalem’s old city walls –Ed.) this Tuesday [July 14, 2015], the 27th of Ramadan, in order to demand that the Al-Aqsa Mosque [compound] be closed to all Muslims during the anniversary of the so-called ‘destruction of the Temple.’ (i.e.,Tisha B’Av – see note). The Mufti considered this call a dangerous escalation, and explained that the continuing attack against the Al-Aqsa Mosque, its desecration, and the encouragement of the extremists to visit it, indicate an impending religious war. In addition, he stated that the calls and the aggressive plans inciting to desecrate the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards and to harm it have increased during the month of Ramadan. The Mufti called on worshippers from Jerusalem and the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel) and anyone who is able to reach the Al-Aqsa Mosque from across the homeland, to make every effort to visit it and strengthen their presence in it, in order to protect it from the ongoing and increasing attacks against it."

Abbas advisor anticipates day when Israel is "defeated, its settlers expelled, and Palestine is purified from their filth"

Posted to Facebook page of Advisor to PA Chairman Abbas on NGOs and member of Fatah Central Committee Sultan Abu Al-Einein on July 7, 2015, a few days after the death of Muhammad Al-Kusbeh, who participated in throwing stones at an Israeli army force near the Qalandiya refugee camp on July 3, 2015. Al-Kusbeh was killed by gunfire from Israeli soldiers whose vehicle came under attack. Palestinian reports claimed Al-Kusbeh was shot while trying to climb over the separation fence.
“We have no more concessions to make, but we should have more options. In the next conflict, we need to open all the gates so the Martyrs will be at peace in their last resting place, so the bereaved mothers will be satisfied, so the wounds of our injured will heal, and so that the prisoners will hold their heads high to Heaven. This nation will not remain silent for long about this piracy and these crimes, while drawing its high motivation from the saying ‘The darkest hours are those before dawn,’ and the dawn of our people will come. It will come when its country is formed, when the land of its homeland is completely liberated, when its hostages return, when the hated occupation is defeated, and its settlers expelled, and Palestine is purified from them and their filth.”

Official PA TV program The Course of Events hosted National Action Committee member Mahmoud Al-Zaq and Fatah spokesman in the Gaza Strip Fayez Abu Aita. The report is about an event to commemorate the Nakba - “the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel.

Official PA TV reporter: “Under the supervision of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, the Young Leadership Forum organized a summer camp in the Martyr (Shahid) Salah Khalaf [Sports] Center in the Al-Fari’a refugee camp under the title ‘Al-Yarmouk is our Nakba,’ as part of the activities to mark the 67th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba.
This summer camp represents the historic Palestine as it includes youth from the occupied interior (i.e., Israel) and all areas of the homeland.”
Female participant: “This is a summer camp of the forum, called ‘Al-Yarmouk is our Nakba,’ which brings together people from the West Bank and people from the interior, from the lands occupied in ’48 (i.e., Israel), in order to unite them and break the barriers that divide us.”

Hasan Abu Salah, Head (Mukhtar) of one of the neighborhoods of Khan Yunis]: “[We are here] to free our Palestinian land, including all its historical territory, even if it will be in stages. PA daily prints poem calling for “the sword” to kill Israelis “and purify the land from the impurities of the infidels”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 13, 2015
Headline: “The land is full of foreigners and Mongols”
[From a poem by Palestinian poet Mustafa Khaddash:]
“67 years of degradation and shame
And the flare of fire in the depths of the heart
67 years in dark depths
The fruit of the plot of the thieves of the family’s land and house
67 years in a burning furnace
Has left us nothing but determination and perseverance
67 years in the forest and in it gangs
Of cobras and predatory and murderous animals

Where is Qutuz, I wonder, and where is Baibars
The land is full of foreigners and Mongols
Where is the sword of Saladin, to destroy them
And purify the land from the impurities of the infidels.”

PA officials compare Israel to Nazi Germany, and, like the Nazis, “are doomed to disappear”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 8, 2015
Headline: “Jericho: Celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the Russian people’s victory over the Nazis”
“The Russian ambassador to Palestine, Alexander Rudakov, expressed his hope that the Palestinian people would succeed in establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital… These statements were made during his speech at the Russian Museum hall in the Jericho city center as part of the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the Soviet Union and the friendly Russian people’s victory over the Nazis… PLO Executive Committee member [and Fatah Central Committee member] Saeb Erekat said that the victory of the Soviets and the Russian people, and the fact that they sacrificed around 67 million [people] are a victory for truth, justice and humanity and not only for the Russian people. In addition, he said that the oppression and injustice, whatever their degree of tyranny and duration, are doomed to disappear, and that the occupation of Palestine would not last for long – regardless of how much the occupation authorities try to evade, deny and act abusively.
Deputy District Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley Jamal Rajoub said that the only occupation at present is the Israeli occupation, and that the anniversary of the victory of the friends in Russia over the Nazis takes place close to the 67th anniversary of the Palestinian people’s Nakba (i.e., 'the catastrophe,' Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) and to the 47th anniversary of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank’s occupation by the neo-Nazis, who oppressed and tortured the citizens and deprived them of their most basic rights. In addition, he said that the Russians’ victory over the Nazis is a glimmer of hope for us as Palestinians because we will definitely prevail.”

Poem written by PA official and printed in the PA daily claims all Israel as “Palestine” that “belongs/returns to us”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 30, 2015
The following verses were included in a poem on Land Day by Palestinian Ambassador to Libya and former Deputy Minister of Information in the PA, poet Al-Mutawakkil Taha:
“On Land Day,
The land belongs/returns to us,
From Rosh Hanikra (i.e., Israel’s northernmost point) to Eilat (i.e., Israel’s southernmost point)
From its sea shore to the Dead Sea,
namely, the living sea,
for we gave it free blood,
that shimmers
in the midst of the water
the land, Palestine, belongs/returns to us
and there is nothing apart from it
today, tomorrow and yesterday.”

Note: Land Day – an annual commemoration of the general strike and demonstrations organized by Israeli Arab residents of the Galilee on March 30, 1976 to protest the Israeli government's decision to expropriate land in the Galilee for security and settlement purposes, which it later implemented. During the protests, demonstrators burnt tires, blocked roads, and threw rocks and firebombs. Six demonstrators were shot and killed by the Israeli army and police. Israeli Arabs and Palestinians consider Land Day a national day.

In the demonstration - a young man!
In the young man - a heart!
In the heart - a bullet!

In death - Martyrdom (Istish'had)
In Martyrdom - Paradise!
In Paradise - pleasures!

I was convinced, and until this very moment I can almost see in my mind’s eye, that a man would knock on my door and say: Abu Khaled, the buses [of the returning refugees] have arrived, and the way to Palestine is open. Not only that, I say to the Palestinians, to our nation in the interior (i.e., Israeli Arabs), our fighting and struggling nation, who has fought for more than 120 years: 'Do not destroy the settlements. There are 11 million Palestinians who need to come back and live [in them]. Leave the houses prepared for them.”
Football arena in Jerusalem is “temporary home court” for Israeli players
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 19, 2015
The sports pages of the official PA daily recently described a match between the ‎Palestinian team Bnei Sakhnin and the Israeli team Beitar Jerusalem. The Israeli team ‎was referred to as “the Zionist Beitar” and the football arena in Jerusalem was called ‎the team’s “temporary home court” because “it does not and will never belong to them":
‎“Muhammad [the player], takes revenge for [Prophet] Muhammad, peace be upon Him.‎ The [Palestinian] Bnei Sakhnin [football team] defeated the Zionist Beitar [Jerusalem ‎football team] in its temporary home court [in Jerusalem]. Yes, this court is temporary, ‎because it does not and will never belong to them. But the much-loved Sakhnin team ‎proved itself to be a Palestinian team par excellence, around which millions of our ‎people gather. This proves that they are firmly planted in our historic land, while the ‎other side is foreign.‎ Sakhnin is proof of Palestinian territorial unity. It is the sister [city] of Jerusalem, Gaza, ‎Rafiah, Jenin, Umm Al-Fahm and Nazareth. They curse us and the last prophet ‎‎[Muhammad]. May Allah disfigure them. [They are] racists to the bone... ‎Glory to Sakhnin. The one who scored [the victory] for Sakhnin was a player named ‎Muhammad – Muhammad Ghadir. He scored two goals against the invaders. Thank ‎you Muhammad, and may Allah bless our Prophet Muhammad.”‎

Fatah official implies that Fatah’s real goal is for all of Israel to become “Palestine”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Dec. 11, 2014
“Name me one thing we have given up on. Did we give up on the refugees? Did we give up on Jerusalem? Who is leading the actions in Jerusalem? Fatah and the PLO framework, irrespectively of the sizes [of the PLO factions]. Did we give up on the borders? Did we give up on our territories in the interior, from 1967 (i.e., Israel). I want to tell you something even more important. Brother Mahmoud Abbas is the president of the [Palestinian] Authority. I am a member of the Fatah Central Committee. Who told you I don’t want Jaffa and Haifa? Who will tell me that? Why, sir? First of all, the PA and Fatah are not the same thing. Brother Mahmoud Abbas is president of the PA. He talks to presidents, heads of state and others. No! I’m telling you, I want a democratic Palestinian state in which we – Muslims, Jews and Christians – will live, in all of Palestine… I want to ask those who have doubts about Yasser Arafat a question. They heard Yasser Arafat’s speeches. They heard when Yasser Arafat declared the [Palestinian] state. What did he say? Some say [he said] ‘the establishment of the Palestinian State.’ No, no. They heard the words and remembered them [wrong]. He said: ‘We announce the establishment of the State of Palestine on our Palestinian land.’ Where is the land of Palestine?”

Recovery to the wounded

In response to the students’ questions, he emphasized that rifts [between factions] is a crime and disgrace to all that encourage them, and that they serve no one but the occupation. Yaakub Qureish: “One of the conditions in the Pact of Umar (i.e., pact signed between the Muslims and Christians of Syria after the Muslim conquest of 637), and I tell this to people in the country and abroad: We promised Sophronius (i.e., Patriarch of Jerusalem at the time of the Muslim conquest), who gave us the key of Jerusalem, that we would allow no Jews into Jerusalem. Now we say [to] the West, America, Europe: ‘The founder of the Christian religion [sic] demanded that we promise, as part of the Pact, to bar Jews from entering Jerusalem. How can you allow them to enter? How can you violate this agreement?’ … ‘We will protect it, and will not allow any Jews to be in Jerusalem. No Jew will remain in Jerusalem. There is no debate on this point.’”
Official PA TV host: “Right.”
Qureish: “I say this without hesitation, and I speak for the entire Palestinian people and the entire Arab and Islamic nation. I am thereby representing what [our] leader, Mahmoud Abbas, said in his speech ten minutes ago (In this speech Abbas said that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine and that all Israel is doing in it is illegal according to UN resolutions, -Ed.): There will not be a single Jew or Israeli in Jerusalem. Not a single one. By contrast, Christianity’s rights will be fully protected, as we have promised them for 1400 years. We demand that they respect, together with us, the Pact of Umar, and expel the Jews from Jerusalem.”

Lift your head high; that is your weapon...
No matter how severe the oppression is, we will protect our land

Soil of the forgotten land, watered with precious blood
My land, sing your song, gather your strength for freedom."

Hamas: "We will build an Islamic state in Palestine, all of Palestine" (i.e., Israel)
Source: Al-Ayyam, Oct. 1, 2014
Headline: "Al-Zahar: The Hamas movement will build an Islamic state in all of Palestine"
"Hamas Political Bureau member Mahmoud Al-Zahar emphasized that Hamas would 'build an Islamic State in all of Palestine.' During a ceremony for the relatives of policemen killed by the Israeli army in Gaza, Al-Zahar said: '[Some] have said Hamas wants to create an Islamic emirate in Gaza. We won't do that, but we will build an Islamic state in Palestine, all of Palestine.' Al-Zahar said that if his movement were to 'transfer what it has or just a small part of it to the West Bank, we would be able to settle the battle of the final promise (an allusion to Sura 17:7 of the Quran, see note below) with a speed that no one can imagine.'
He continued by saying: 'We know exactly how to liberate the land of Palestine, and we know how to hit every inch of Palestine with our hands, brains, and money.' Al-Zahar promised 'to protect the resistance project, including all its military, police, security and civilian wings.'
On the [issue of the] PA and the transfer of control of the Gaza Strip to the unity government, he said: 'They relinquished these positions, but we look out for our citizens and our homeland. In no way whatsoever will we allow anyone to harm the resistance project or the dignity of any citizen.'"

Note: His expression "the final promise" is taken from Sura 17:7 of the Quran: "Then when the final promise came, [We sent your enemies]... to enter the temple in Jerusalem, as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction.'" (trans. Sahih International) By alluding to this passage in the context of Israel, Hamas is promising a future war of destruction against Israel.

What are we [Fatah and Hamas] divided about? Do we disagree about Jerusalem, for example? [Do we] disagree about liberating Palestine from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea? Disagree about what? What do they disagree about? About a minister responsible for a certain area, about a clerk who needs a job? Israel is a “cancerous entity which can only be cured by leaving our land” – PA daily op-ed

Op-ed by Fathi Al-Bis, regular columnist for the official PA daily:
“In his response to the barbaric Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip, the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, said: ‘It seems the devil has possessed [Israeli Prime Minister] Netanyahu.’ We in this region, for our part, say that Netanyahu and his associates truly are devils, unparalleled in perpetrating evil acts. Their evil souls constantly tempt them to murder more and more, and nothing else, under the illusion that murder is what will protect and save them from the existential fear concerning the fate of their cancerous entity, which can only be cured by [its] leaving our land.”

"One final message to [Israeli Prime Minister] Netanyahu: I've heard that Netanyahu intends to continue negotiations with us [forever]. [Speaking to his son:] Nader, come here, sweetie. He [Netanyahu] intends to continue negotiating with us until 2020 or 2030. So we'll forget the cause of the refugees. My answer to him is one word. Nader, sweetie, where are we from?"
Abbas’ grandson, Nader: "From Safed, Palestine."
Abbas' son?:? "Where from?"
Abbas’ grandson: "Safed, Palestine."
Abbas' son?:? "Where will we return to?"
Abbas’ grandson: "To Safed, Palestine."
Abbas' son?:? "Thank you. This is the third generation since the Nakba. This is the third generation since the Nakba. Netanyahu should know that he can negotiate with us until 2020, 2030, or 2050. Time is on our side, and [our] right won't be lost if someone claims it. The first generation exists. He waits until it's gone, but we still exist, and the third generation is behind us. Israel is a snake; Fatah and Hamas cut off its head
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 8, 2014
A cartoon in the official PA daily presents the reconciliation and unity between Fatah and Hamas as a means to destroy Israelis/Jews.
Israel is depicted as the head of a snake or worm, wearing a Jewish skull cap with a Star of David on it. The head may be intended to be a caricature of Israel's Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman. Palestinian reconciliation is presented as an axe. Its blade is a hand with two fingers forming the sign of victory. Fatah official calls for one-state solution: Replace Israel with a Muslim state
Source: Facebook page of Tawfiq Tirawi, member of Fatah Central Committee, May 6, 2014
The independent Palestinian radio Ajyal interviewed Fatah Central Committee member Tawfiq Tirawi:
Fatah Central Committee member Tawfiq Tirawi: “In my opinion, the two-state solution has come to an end – and the one who ended it is Israel. Since the Algiers Convention [of 1988] (at which the Palestinian National Council, the legislative body of the PLO, declared the establishment of a Palestinian State), when they agreed on the 10 Points (i.e., the Ten Point Program of 1974, which called for the rejection of the existence of the State of Israel and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the entire territory of Mandatory Palestine) and on [UN Resolution] 242 (which established provisions and principles towards a solution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict), the Palestinians have gone far towards the two-state solution, and the resolutions of the UN and the international institutions, etc. Nonetheless, we must reexamine this entire issue, and propose – as in the past – the one-state [solution]. I am in favor of one democratic state, which Fatah proposed in 1968. I am for it. Let’s all sit down together in Palestine, and shape the state as it was shaped in Lebanon – a Maronite president, a Sunni prime minister, etc. Let’s find this solution.”

Hamas song warns Israelis to leave or die, to the tune of Israeli national anthem

Song on official website of the Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades:
Text in Hebrew and Arabic: "The end of Hatikva" (i.e., "The Hope" name of Israel's national anthem)
(to tune of Israel's national anthem)
(Full song in Hebrew)

"The Zionists' army is made of wax,
and already it is melting and has no hope.
The vile Jews who were here before,
someone tell me what is left of them.
Two groups: The first will be returned to its country of origin if it so chooses,
while the fool who insists [on remaining] -
his fate is sealed - [he'll end up] under the ground.
The name of the Holy City will be restored,
my capital [is named] Beit Al-Maqdis - not Jerusalem.
The name of the Holy City will be restored,
my capital [is named] Beit Al-Maqdis - not Jerusalem."

Hamas official: Through Shahada (Martyrdom) we will achieve "Palestine, from its [Jordan] River to its [Mediterranean] Sea"
Source: Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), Apr. 30, 2014
Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas) broadcast a speech by Hamas leader and Palestinian Parliament member Sheikh Hassan Yousef
Hamas leader and Palestinian Parliament member Sheikh Hassan Yousef: “Yes, we say: The path of Martyrdom (Shahada) and the enterprise of Martyrdom-seeking (Istish'had) are
the shortest way to [achieving] rights, and to achieving victory over the occupier. Taking [our] rights is the shortest path to Jerusalem and to all Palestine, from its [Jordan] River to its [Mediterranean] Sea. Yes, this path is the shortest path to defeating the settlement enterprise and the Judaization of Jerusalem and the holy sites. We say to the occupation: the blood of these two Martyrs (Shahids) [Imad and Adel Awadallah] and the two other Martyrs [Izz Al-Din Al-Masri and Tawfiq Mahamid] – all of you know the hero Izz Al-Din Al-Masri (i.e., suicide terrorist who killed 15 in Sbarro pizza shop) [cheers from the audience]… and the Martyr Mahamid, and those who preceded them and those Martyrs who will come after them – we will not forget them, and their blood will remain a debt for us [to pay], for the Hamas youth and the youths of all the Palestinian forces.” …

"I am a Palestinian, my name is Palestinian  I've etched my name on all the town squares...
Saladin (Muslim conqueror of Jerusalem), calls to me from the depths of my heart
All my Arabness calls me to vengeance and liberation...
Thousands of prisoners and thousands who are jailed
call to this great nation and call to millions
They say: To Jerusalem, the [first] direction of prayer [in Islam]
To war that will smash the oppression and destroy the Zionist's soul
and raise the Palestinian banner in the world's sky
And strengthen my word that goes on: Palestinian, Palestinian, Palestinian."

Fatah official: "Haifa, Jaffa, Acre... it is all Palestine"
Source: YouTube, Apr. 20, 2014
Fatah Central Committee member Tawfiq Tirawi: "Our people, people of Gaza, Gaza of resolve, of nobleness and struggle: Your freedom is near. Our prisoners' freedom and your freedom are also near, Allah willing. You will return to the bosom of legitimacy, to the bosom of the homeland, which is represented by [the] Gaza [Strip] and the [West] Bank, by Palestine -- all of Palestine, from its [Jordan] River to its [Mediterranean] Sea. This is our goal; this is the lantern that lights our way; these are our principles in the Fatah Movement: Palestine -- [the] Gaza [Strip] is part of it; the [West] Bank is part of it; and it is Haifa, Jaffa, Acre, and it is all of Palestine, which will be an independent state for us, Allah willing."

PA official: Compromise on 1967 borders will only be temporary, ultimate goal is Palestine "from the river to the sea"
Source: Official PA TV Live, Apr. 16, 2014
Official PA TV Live broadcast an event ‎honoring the prisoners released in the ‎third phase of prisoner releases.‎
Palestinian PA Parliament (Legislative ‎Council) member and PFLP ‎representative Khalida ‎Jarrar:
“First ‎of all, in principle, we must not give up ‎any option for freeing the prisoners. I’m ‎not saying who will do this or how they ‎will do so. [We] must not give up any ‎option. That includes the option of the ‎struggle and the revolutionary option. ‎I’m not saying we are calling on people ‎to start a revolution – that’s not the ‎point – but we must not give up this ‎option, and this means we must cease ‎security coordination [with Israel]. ‎
There is a minimum and a maximum. ‎The maximum, or the truth, is that ‎Palestine belongs to the Palestinians, ‎from the [Jordan] River to the ‎‎[Mediterranean] Sea (i.e., replacing all of Israel). We must not cede ‎this narrative. From the River to the ‎Sea, Palestine for the Palestinians. ‎Now they’re talking about a political ‎compromise, about a country within the ‎‎1967 borders, that’s called a political ‎compromise, and it hasn’t materialized, ‎‎[but] will only materialize [in the ‎future]‎, because, to this day, we ‎haven’t accepted the 1967 borders ‎either – but even a compromise on the ‎‎1967 borders must not lead us to ‎renounce that Palestine from the River ‎to the Sea belongs to the Palestinians; ‎and the heart of the matter is the right ‎of return, our cause is the right of ‎return.”‎
Fatah official: Palestinian state will have Jerusalem as its capital, will include Rosh HaNikra
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Apr. 15, 2014
“Fatah Central Committee member Tawfiq Tirawi emphasized that there will be no peace unless all the Palestinian prisoners are released from the occupation prisons. He added: ‘We will not forsake a single foot of the land of Palestine – all of Palestine – and no one has the right to prevent any Palestinian from returning to the village from which he was expelled amidst the disasters of death and murder. We will establish our Palestinian state whose capital is Jerusalem, on our historic land, from Rafah to Rosh HaNikra.’”

Note: Rosh HaNikra is located in northern Israel and is within the 1967 borders.

PA daily: Israel is an "apartheid state" and "breeding ground for... corruption and mafia" because its leaders know Zionism is "based on lies" and "lack of belief... in the continued existence of their state"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Apr. 3, 2014
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for Al-Hayat Al-Jadida
“[Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud] Olmert’s conviction on [charges of] corruption is a crushing blow to his political history, and can be considered the defining moment in the closing chapter of his political time... which will make it difficult for him to return to politics – though anything is possible and permissible in the apartheid state, given its settler character.
The State of Israel, according to the testimony of Judge Rosen (the judge in the Olmert case) and others, is a breeding ground for all forms and manifestations of corruption and mafia, and the political and military classes may well be playing a central role in furthering these manifestations, which threaten the unity of Israeli society. This phenomenon has both subjective and objective causes [including]: 1. The lack of belief among these leaders in the continued existence of their state, given their understanding that it is an unnatural state and that the dangers surrounding it render the chances of its continued [existence] elusive. 2. The ideological, political, moral and ethical foundations of the Israeli elites are weak; they understand that the Israeli Zionist narrative is based on lies and falsifications of truth, history and reality. 3. The nature of [Israel’s] relationship with the capitalist West – especially the United States, which lavishes on Israel the highest financial and economic aid, and sets the mood and creates a fertile environment for acts of theft and robbery among the ranks of Israeli leaders. 4. The nature of the relationship between the heads of global financial capital and the Zionist movement, in which the Jewish Zionist families play a pivotal role in reinforcing corruption and bribery, [can be seen] in the same context.”
PA TV host agrees with Hamas: "The minimum… is the 1967 borders;" "[Who knows] what the intentions are after that?"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Apr. 3, 2014
Official PA TV Program Speak Plainly hosted Hamas Member Ismail Radwan and Fatah Member Abdallah Abdallah. On the phone was former Israeli-Arab MP Taleb Al-Sana.
PA TV Host Maher Shalabi: “The minimum, according to Hamas – as brother Khaled Mashaal, head of the Hamas Political Bureau has said, [and as] Ismail Haniyeh, Prime Minister of the deposed Hamas government in Gaza, has demonstrated several times – is the 1967 borders, and he has emphasized this, as you have said. [Who knows] what the intentions are after that. Brother, you include Haifa and Jaffa [in the discussion] – and I, Maher Shalabi, sitting here, am I supposed to tell you I don’t want them?! Brother, we will take them. But, Doctor, there is a logic that says: the strong perform disgraceful acts, and those who are unable [to overcome their enemies] must bide their time and they will dwell on this land; so let’s talk according to reason and the chief interests of the land. The minimum, for now, which all [our] people’s factions have agreed on, is peaceful popular struggle, at this stage – and perhaps two years from now, we’ll say, ‘no, we want to wreak havoc in the land.’”

Note: The PLO Charter first written in 1964 called for "liberation" of Palestine, meaning the destruction of Israel, adding that the PLO does not seek "territorial sovereignty over the West Bank in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the Gaza Strip..." However, when the West Bank and Gaza Strip came under Israeli administration following the Six Day War in 1967, the PLO rewrote its Charter in 1968, now seeking sovereignty over the West Bank and the Gaza Strip as well, lands formerly under Jordanian and Egyptian rule.

Fatah official: We will "expel these invaders from every inch of our Palestinian land"

Abbas' advisor on NGOs Sultan Abu Al-Einein: "This [commemoration of Land Day] reminds us of March, in which the Palestinian woman excelled in the art of warfare beside the Palestinian man. We also recall Martyr Dalal Mughrabi -- I salute her soul and the souls of all the Martyrs -- [Dalal] who established her Palestinian Republic in her own special way between Jaffa and Tel Aviv... Land Day is not [just] a regular, passing day in the life of our Palestinian nation, but it confirms and reminds those whose memory has betrayed them... that on this land and for this land it is worth giving our blood in order to expel these invaders from every inch of our Palestinian land."

Senior Fatah official: "Allah will gather [the Israelis] so we can kill them"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Mar. 12, 2014

PA TV host: On the issue discussed in the media, that Netanyahu failed in his attempt to stir up the media around the so-called arms ship (Iranian shipment of arms to Gaza intercepted by Israel), and so he turned to the option of bloodshed, which explains the number of Martyrs (3 Islamic Jihad terrorists) who fell in 24 hours. In other words, he failed to draw the world's attention, and so resorted to the Israeli occupation's traditional method - killing Palestinians in order to provoke a hurried Palestinian reaction. How do you see this?

Member of Fatah Central Committee Abbas Zaki: Netanyahu went and provoked an uproar, like [when] he drew a nuclear bomb [and said] this is what Iran wants. He failed in the Iranian issue, and tried to improve his situation with the Palestinian issue... These Israelis have no belief, no principles. They are an advanced instrument of evil. They say, the Holocaust, and so on - fine, why are they doing this to us? Therefore, I believe that Allah will gather them so we can kill them. I am informing the murderer of his death.

Official PA daily op-ed: "The Zionist project will be defeated slowly"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 12, 2014
Op-ed by regular columnist Muwaffaq Matar:
“We can say that the Arab brothers have entered the most difficult phase of the revolution – we could even call it the second revolution. The revolution of the Egyptian people on July 30 of last year [2013] raised hopes and faith in the ability of the new Arab generation to liberate itself from the [various] forms of tyranny and ideological and material terror adopted by the Islamic movements as a method for the takeover of power and for the creation of regimes worse than those which preceded them. Today, the revolution of the Syrian people against what is referred to as the ‘Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’ (ISIS) [parentheses in source] is inspiring optimism and confidence [in the sense] that the Arab nations understand its aims and are alert to the attacks of the Arab revolution stealers…
This part of the Arab homeland, in this cultural region of the world, will not capitulate to an exploiting criminal even if the night of his reign is prolonged, and we in Palestine have an expression: ‘The Zionist project will be defeated slowly’, and this project was a breeding ground for all the projects that have sought to destroy nationalism with the ax of religion.”
PLO member: We will build Palestine “on all of the homeland’s territory”
Source: Al-Ayyam, Jan. 6, 2014
“[PLO Executive Committee member Saeb] Erekat spoke during a rally organized two days ago [Jan. 4, 2014] by the Fatah Movement, the [Palestinian] Prisoners’ Club and the [PA] Ministry of Prisoners’ [Affairs] in the Tubas and Northern Jordan Valley District to mark the 49th anniversary of ‘the Launch’ (Intilaqa) of the revolution and the beginning of the [Fatah] movement’s activities…
[Erekat] said: ‘Any self-respecting nation wages battles for its prisoner sons,’ and added: ‘Wait, Marwan Barghouti, Ahmad Sa’adat and the [rest of the] prisoners; the release is near. We will not rest until we see you free among your people, so that you will take up your roles in building the independent State of Palestine on all of the homeland’s territory.’”

Notes: Intilaqa - "the Launch" of Fatah. Refers to the day of Fatah's first terror attack against Israel in 1965 when it tried to blow up Israel's National Water Carrier.
Marwan Barghouti - serving five life sentences for orchestrating terror attacks against Israeli civilians. When arrested in 2002, he headed the Tanzim (Fatah terror faction). After he was convicted and imprisoned, he was re-elected member of the Palestinian Authority parliament.
Ahmad Sa’adat - serving a 30-year sentence for heading the PFLP terror organization. A song at a PFLP event also praised him for planning the assassination of Israeli Minister of Tourism Rehavam Ze'evi in 2001, but he has not been tried for this crime.
PA daily op-ed: Israel is only transient, land will return to Palestinians
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 2, 2014
From op-ed by Imtiaz Diab:
"Regarding those [Israelis] who came boasting the metal of their gleaming rifles, while fleeing a fate of their bodies being turned to white dust (i.e., the Jews who fled the Holocaust), who shared our bread and salt with us, who betrayed our courtesy and claimed their God had promised our land to them – they are only transient in their journey in the Diaspora, [a journey] which has protected them from dissolving into the nations that hated them everywhere, except for us, we who gave them shelter in our homes.
We know well that they… will leave our holy olive tree one day, [the olive tree] which they uprooted from the soil they claim to own!"

PLO official anticipates "end of the Zionist occupation... in the 1948 [territories]"

Op-ed by Khaled Mismar, member of the ‎PLO's Palestinian National Council
‏"     ‏Forty-nine years have passed since Fatah ‎fired its first bullet announcing the ‎Palestinians’ revolt against their bitter ‎reality, on the first of January 1965…‎ Forty-nine years have passed, and the ‎Palestinian people is still giving all it has ‎towards the realization of its just national ‎rights, its right to a state whose capital is ‎Jerusalem, its right to return and to self-‎determination, and its right to freedom, ‎independence and the end of the Zionist ‎occupation. This great nation in the 1948 ‎‎[territories] (i.e., Israel), in Jerusalem, the ‎capital of our hearts and souls, in the ‎southern districts in Gaza, and the northern ‎districts in the [West] Bank, is still on its way, ‎the way of self-sacrifice, supported by our ‎people in the diaspora, by the masses of our ‎Arab nation in all the Arab countries, the ‎masses of our Islamic nation, and by the ‎free and respected people of the world.‎
There is no doubt that the day will come ‎when all these will move forward toward the ‎liberation of Jerusalem, the Islamic and ‎Christian [holy] sites, and the liberation of ‎the holy Palestinian land. Our great Palestinian people is always in ‎the vanguard to protect its Arab and Islamic ‎nation, and the free people of the world, ‎against the attack of Zionist and ‎international colonialism...

Hamas minister: “We will liberate our land, our Jerusalem… in preparation for establishing the next Islamic Caliphate… we are at the brink of a period of global Islamic culture”
Source: Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), Nov. 13, 2013
Minister of Interior and National Security in the Hamas government in Gaza, Fathi Hammad: “We look forward to future victories, in which, Allah willing, we will liberate our land, our Jerusalem, our Al-Aqsa [Mosque], our cities and our villages, Allah willing, all this in preparation for establishing the next Islamic Caliphate. Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are at the brink of a period of global Islamic culture, whose fuel is Gaza, whose spearhead is Gaza, its Jihad fighters (Mujahideen) and commanders are Gaza, Allah willing…
I am sending a message to our brothers in Fatah: Have you not grown tired of negotiations? Have you not despaired of an enemy who is determined to humiliate our people at every stage? Have you not despaired after 20 years of negotiations? When you all agree and are led by a group that negotiates (does not complete sentence). How many people call Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh (member of the PLO negotiating team, -Ed.) and any negotiator [and ask]: ‘What’s new with the negotiations?’ They tell them: ‘[It’s] tired, standing still, we sit with the Jews, we talk about this and that and that’s all.’ Well, enough! Come join us – the armies of believers who translated the Quran into victory and translated the Prophet’s tradition into valor and translated Jihad into liberation, Allah willing. Therefore, we say to you, with all our heart, come to us so that we will train you anew, so we will reorganize your faith, so [we will] rebuild your thinking. We are the Prophet’s pupils, the Caliphs’ pupils and we are the pupils of the respected leaders throughout history…
We come with a third Intifada, with an armed revolution, with a Jihad revolution, Allah willing. Gaza and the [West] Bank will unite with our brothers from the Interior, the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel) in the second Hattin battle, to uproot the Jews. We are coming.”

Fatah official: PA state will be “from the [Jordan] river to the Mediterranean Sea”
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, Oct. 9, 2013
Headline: “Tirawi: ‘We will have a Palestinian state from the [Jordan] river to the Mediterranean Sea’”
“Fatah Central Committee member Tawfiq Tirawi attended a ceremony in appreciation of the prisoners’ families and a reception for new students, held yesterday [Oct. 8, 2013] by the student council of the [Palestine] Polytechnic University in Hebron, in coordination with Fatah’s Shabiba organization (Fatah youth movement)…
He turned to the audience of students and said: ‘Fatah was the first self-sacrificing fighter, (from Fedayeen - self-sacrificing fighter, someone prepared to die for a cause), the first female self-sacrificing fighter, the first stone, the first bullet, the first male prisoner and first female prisoner.’…
In addition, he spoke of the movement’s role in educating its activists towards sacrifice, giving and devotion, saying: ‘We must fulfill the role of the self-sacrificing fighter because the self-sacrificing fighter is not only the one who carries a rifle but also the one who makes decisions, serves the nation and protects the land, honor and holy places.’
In response to statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who announced that there would be no return of Palestinian refugees and no Palestinian state, and who still continues to run wild [building] settlements, Tirawi -- speaking for the Fatah movement that has never forsaken the rifle, the stone and the struggle -- said that Kiryat Arba and [Gush] Etzion are not Israeli and that Nazareth, Jaffa and Haifa will remain Palestinian. [He added] that we will have a state from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea.”

"The USA initiated an attempt to bring the two sides together to reach a just and comprehensive solution in the region, based on the 1967 borders. This is [also] our demand, since the Palestinian leadership and the [Palestinian] National Council's decisions confirm that Palestine is committed or rather agrees to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and within the 1967 borders. There's consensus about that. Of course, some see this as a permanent solution, while some see it - as do we in the Arab Liberation Front - as a temporary solution. We don't think that a peaceful solution is possible without the return of all the refugees and the return of all the occupied land."

Young Palestinian voter: All of Israel is Palestinian land and holding on to it “is basis for everything”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Sept. 10, 2013
PA TV program Al-Balad Young People, episode about elections for the Palestinian Youth Parliament.. This clip demonstrates that Palestinian youth have absorbed the PA message that Israel has no right to exist:
Young woman: “I represent the Land of the Homeland [party] list. Why the ‘Homeland?’ Because we believe that the homeland is from the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] sea, and we want to hold on to our homeland, and [we] know that holding on to the homeland is the basis for everything in life. Of course our slogan is ‘the rifle and the olive branch’ because we believe that there will never be peace with the Jews, and [we believe] that we will continue to hold on to our resistance and we will not fix our internal affairs with [anything] but our resistance.” […]
Candidate on the Land of the Homeland [party] list: “Our most important goals can be understood from the list’s name and from the list’s slogan. Our slogan is ‘the rifle on the river side and the olive branch on the sea side.’ We will begin the struggle from the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] sea and will not make do with anything but all the land of the homeland.”

Fatah official posted link to song promoting violence to defeat Israel
Source: Member of Fatah Central Committee, Mahmoud Al-Aloul’s Facebook page, Aug. 26, 2013
Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud Al-Aloul posted a link to the following song on his personal Facebook page:
“Oh soil of my land, explode
My wound will avenge! [...]
Arise mother, go, and cry ‘Allah is great’ –
Zion will be defeated, Zion will be defeated
Oh hills of Jerusalem, arise and declare: ‘We will cross to Haifa, to Jaffa, we will crush the occupier,
We will break [it]
Arise mother and go, and cry ‘Allah is great’ –
Zion will be defeated, Zion will be defeated
Sister, prepare the shrouds, and set up my body as a bridge
Teach my nation’s children that under the ruins there is a dagger
And arise mother and go, and cry ‘Allah is great’ –
Zion will be defeated, Zion will be defeated
In every line, history wrote down acts of glory with our blood
So go, do not leave our territory,
For tomorrow [the battle of] Khaibar will be strong [Khaibar is the name of last Jewish village defeated by Muhammad’s army and it marked the end of Jewish presence in Arabia in 628.]
And arise mother and go, and cry ‘Allah is great’ –
Zion will be defeated, Zion will be defeated
And arise mother and go, and cry ‘Allah is great’ –
Zion will be defeated, Zion will be defeated
In Allah’s way we hasten, His promise is victory with His support
Our blood is in Al-Aqsa –
how can we be defeated by Zion? [...]
And arise mother and go, and cry ‘Allah is great’ –
Zion will be defeated, Zion will be defeated.”

PA daily op-ed: Long-term goal is to get back “all parts of Palestine”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 23, 2013
“...where is the promised Palestine, with its Haifa, with its [Mount] Carmel, with its Jaffa, with its Nazareth and with all its Galilee lands?’ …And now I say: ‘Alright, this isn’t our whole land, but this is at least the part of the homeland that is available to us.’
… If Gaza and the West Bank are only an available part [of the homeland], this means that I dream of more than that. And what about the Galilee, the Triangle [Israeli region bordering the West Bank with a large Arab population] and the Negev? In other words, if I consider what the Oslo [Accords] brought to be only an available part [of the homeland], therefore I secretly believe in the right of return to all parts of Palestine.
…But this heavy price that my people have paid in goodwill cannot be the end of the story, since it is still at its beginning, and we must expect more complex details and data, just as we cannot be content with what happened; Palestine is not a market of give and take, but a permanent right that passes from generation to generation. The new generation is more stubborn in requesting this right, and a right that is demanded is not lost.
…It is possible that the leader will need to use complex tactics that are difficult to understand in certain situations and [under certain] conditions. We put our hopes in the outcome and the outcome says that if we have sacrificed, suffered and were displaced, we stay committed to the promise. The available part – or the part that is not completely available – is no more than a stop on the way.”

Israel is “an oppressive, occupying entity that will disappear in the end”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, July 2, 2013
PA TV News reported on a Nakba festival in the Al-Wihdat Refugee Camp in Jordan. The following statement is an example of the success of the PA’s message of non-recognition of Israel and denial of Israel’s right to exist. This viewpoint has been adopted by many Palestinians, as exemplified in the following statement:
Festival participant, former President of the Jordan Medical Association Ahmad Al-Armouti:
“This festival emphasizes the Arab and Palestinian people’s belief in its historic right to Palestine. No matter how long it may take, this people will not forget its historic land from the [Mediterranean] sea to the [Jordan] river, and it declares that it owns this land, and that the Zionist entity is an oppressive, occupying entity that will disappear in the end.”

Note: Nakba (“catastrophe”) is the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel.

PA TV host: “What else would you like us to hear about now?”
Arin: “About the prattle of a Zionist, about the Zionists.”
PA TV host: “About the Zionists.”
Second PA TV host: “Please.”
Arin: “A prattling Zionist,
A prattling Zionist philosophizes in the plazas (i.e., of the Al-Aqsa Mosque)
And says: ‘Jerusalem is ours and in it is Solomon’s Temple’ […]
All day long they fabricate things that do not really exist.
The young woman is deprived of her happiness at her wedding because of the tank that enters the neighborhood and brings destruction.
A boy grows up as an orphan because conscience and feeling are lacking…
Is their [the Zionists’] departure from the land of Canaan not close, leaving the people to live in freedom and in peace?
Yesterday they spread corruption and accused us of terrorism
They killed the children of Gaza,
As they called for a ‘hudna’ (ceasefire) and to make peace.
In the name of your God, is this [a normal] situation?”
PA TV host: “Thank you Arin.”
Second PA TV host: “Arin, may you be blessed.”
PA daily op-ed: The day that Allah will free the land “is not far off”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 17, 2013
From Sheikh Hassan Ahmad Jaber’s column “Religious Reflections,” in official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida’s weekly religious supplement. Sheikh Hassan Ahmad Jaber is Mufti of the Rafiah region and a member of the Supreme Council for Islamic Legal Rulings.
“On the fifteenth of the month of May, 1948, catastrophe (nakba) struck our resolute people... But May 15 arrived, and marked the onset of the conspiracy that had been devised against our Palestinian nation, a conspiracy accomplished by the recognition of Israel as a state. As we remember that accursed day, our determination to demand our rights only grows, and we shall change that day from a day of catastrophe (nakba, the term used by Palestinians when referring to the establishment of the State of Israel) to a day of returning... Two years ago our Palestinian people walked to the borders that separate Arabs from Israel, and our people crossed the border into its country of Palestine, armed with nothing other than faith in Allah and the determination to gain its rights and free its land. Had this elite of our people been armed and supported by the states that border Israel, that which gladdens a friend and saddens an enemy would have happened. But, that day is not far off, the day that Allah will unify the Arab and Islamic Ummah (nation) and inspire it with commitment, courage, and honest intent to free the land, and our people’s cause will be properly resolved in a way that will restore the rights to its people. And so, the Arab and Islamic Ummah (nation) must quit the internal disputes and conflicts, and surely know that these disputes and conflicts, whatever their causes may be, serve only the interests of the enemy."

PA youth magazine: "Recall the wild jungle-like deeds and barbaric behavior of the Zionists... whose blood was nurtured with malice towards mankind"
Source: Zayzafuna magazine, May 1, 2013
Headline: "The Palestinian Nakba Day"
“Emotions stir on this anniversary [of the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel)]. The hearts yearn, [one is] breathless, the movements slow down, the brains are worn out, the thoughts are confused, and the tears flow...
Then the automatic thought begins to recall the wild jungle-like deeds and barbaric behavior of the Zionists, who began to build a state for themselves on the ruins of a people they destroyed with their own hands. The kernel of a gang, whose blood was nurtured with malice towards mankind – murder, destruction, captivity, stealing, robbing, an absence of human traits.
An anniversary that stirs the emotions of the fathers as they remember their Martyr (Shahid) sons. Mothers cry as they remember the prisoners, and hopes are renewed among the grandchildren thanks to the key the grandfathers hid, [which] became the symbol of the return.
An anniversary that has become a lesson and a moral: one person recalls the slaughter of children and elders, another recalls the destruction of homes, another tells how a woman died, and someone else recalls homes that became heaps of stones, but [still] tell the story of a people who will surely return.
Look, hear the Nakba of members of your people, your people, your family – how they were uprooted and how a woman’s unborn child was murdered in cold blood. No, do not forget the soil of your land, no matter how much time may pass. The land will return. We shall build a palace of glory and praise, and the lion cubs’ (i.e., children’s) eraser will rub out the words that the vile ones wrote.”

[Some thought that] Mahmoud Abbas’ application to the UN ends [our claim to] the ’48 [territories]. No! We used to be [just] an “Authority.” We were disputed territories in the eyes of the international community. We were disputed territories, and now we’ve become an occupied state. An occupied Palestinian state with the borders of June 4, 1967. This is how we’ve laid the foundation for attaining part of what is our right. We didn’t lay the foundation for everything we have the right to; we laid the foundation only for our right to the ’67 territory. Nonetheless, Salah Al-Din, when he [liberated] the lands of Al-Sham (i.e., greater Syria), he gave up on half of them, and only when he reached his full strength, did he come back for the remaining half.”

Headline: "Masses of our people accompany the body of Martyr (Shahid) Akram Bader on his final journey"
"Masses of our people and the National and Islamic forces in the village of Beitillu and its environs accompanied Martyr Akram Bader yesterday on his final journey. His pure body was buried in the village cemetery, with cries in the background condemning the despicable crime committed by occupation soldiers at the Al-Za'im roadblock in occupied East Jerusalem against workers trying to reach their place of work within the Green Line [note: soldiers opened fire when the car trying to smuggle illegal workers into Jerusalem ran through a military roadblock]…
Secretary of the Ramallah and El-Bireh Fatah branch, Raed Radwan, said: 'We stand today, in this blessed month (Ramadan), upon this blessed land, to take leave of our fighter-Martyr, the Martyr of bread and livelihood, Akram Bader…'.
Radwan said: 'When you decided, Oh Martyr, to enter Jerusalem, in spite of the occupation, you wanted no more than to pray… in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, but the occupation government, the murderous and criminal government in Israel, would only return you to us as a Martyr …'.
Radwan added, 'We say to the occupation government and to the settlers that every drop of blood that fell from Martyr Akram and from the other Martyrs of our people, will sprout a fighter and revolutionary, who will avenge the blood of the Martyrs and continue the struggle against the occupation until it disappears.'"

PA TV (Fatah) program In a Fighter's Home visits released prisoner Jaber Al-Batta, who is a poet.
Al-Batta: "From a strategic point of view, we demand [all the land] from the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] sea; Palestine is from Jaffa to Hebron, from the north to the south. All of Palestine, undivided, from the river to the sea, from the north to the south – that is historical Palestine. It is Acre, Haifa, Jaffa, Nazareth (all are cities in Israel. -Ed. ); it is our forefathers, our land, and our history."

PA Minister of Religion: Israel will pass like chaff in the wind
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, June 29, 2012
Friday sermon by Minister of Religious Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Habbash. Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is in the audience.
Al-Habbash emphasizes that the believing Muslim should never give up or despair, but should stand resolute in the face of difficulty, because anything else is not complete faith in Allah:

"Al-Aqsa will be Al-Aqsa only, and Palestine will belong only to its people. That's the end of the road. That's what we must be certain of, to believe in… We, Allah be praised, are not heretics and not misled; rather, we follow the path of Muhammad, Allah willing. Until Allah has His word – we will continue in this. We base ourselves on justice, we are resolute upon our land, and adhere to our rights. [Even if] they (i.e., Israel) burn our fields, cut down our trees, burn our mosques, destroy our homes, arrest, kill – we remain here, and they will depart; they will leave. Upon this land there shall remain only that which is useful to people, while the chaff passes with the wind."

Bashour: "From a historical point of view, I believe that what the Zionists are doing is building houses for the Palestinian people, who will return to their homes, even if it takes time. I am certain of [Palestinian] victory, and am certain of the defeat of this [Israeli] entity. However, this entity's basic strength is the weakness of the Arabs."

During the ceremony marking the first graduating class from the police academy in Gaza, Hamad said: 'There is no peace with secularism. Peace is first and foremost with Allah, and thereafter with Jihad, with resistance, with the people, and with the Martyrs (Shahids).' He added, 'We support the home front in Gaza, which is the bridgehead for the liberation of Palestine. We declare that anyone who has settled in our land by force, should plan to leave.' He added, 'The land of Palestine will agree to accept only pure soldiers,' and noted that some of the officers of this graduating class would go on to become police commanders in Haifa, Jaffa, Acre, Lod and Ramle."

PA TV host: "Top secret."
Al-Bujayrami: "It's more classified than 'top secret.' ... The CIA says [in this report]: 'If things continue as they are, we don't think that Israel will continue to exist after the year 2022...'"

"Our brother has returned;
Oh eye – do not spill tears for him.
He returned on the shoulders of his friends and people who love him.
The brother has returned;
Oh mother – make sounds of joy;
The blood of this Martyr is a debt that we must repay."

PA TV host (talking about her uncle, who is a prisoner): "I remember, at this time, 20 years ago, when we knew that at that very time, at those very moments, you were injured, and in a state of clinical death, as a result of the heroic operation that you carried out."
Brother of prisoner Muayyad Hijja: "His action, his struggle, and his imprisonment, represent our pride, and we are always proud of him"
Photograph of the terrorist is shown, with the inscription: "Leader who carried out the Eilat operation."
Photographs of prisoner Hijja. PA TV chose to play the following song in the background:

Note: In May 1992, a group of terrorists, including Muayyad Hijja, came from Jordan to Eilat to carry out a terrorist attack that killed one Israeli. Muayyad Hijja was captured and given two life sentences in prison.
PA daily op-ed expresses hope for Israel's destruction
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 15, 2012
Op-ed published in the official PA daily published on May 15, the anniversary of the founding of the modern state of Israel:
"For 64 years we have not forgotten the light breeze of the Galilee, we have not forgotten the hymn of life in Tal Al-Rabia (i.e., Arabic translation of Tel Aviv, to wrongly imply the existence of an Arab village of that name prior to Tel Aviv), we have not forgotten the fragrance of the narcissus on the slopes of the Carmel. We remember you, all of Palestine. As long as we remain far from you, you are present within us as pain and sorrow, until we return to you, oh Haifa, Acre, and Jaffa, all of historical Palestine, so that life will return within us, and life will return within you, and all the temporary ones [Israelis] will go away. May their theory collapse, may their independence collapse, and may Palestine come back to life."

PA daily article calls for a modern-day Saladin to push “the invaders” (Israelis) out of “Palestine”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 12, 2012
Article by Bader Maki in the sports pages:
"What about you, oh Arabs who prohibit [visiting Jerusalem] and accuse [those who visit] of treason? Such isolation you impose on us, in facing those who have newly appeared upon the face of the earth [the Israelis], those who continue, day and night, with their measures to Judaize Jerusalem, to empty it of its original inhabitants, and to establish settlements – and at the very time that the settlers are rioting everywhere in our land, and cutting down the holy olive trees…
The Hebrew entity fears the Arab Spring, because it will lose some of the rulers who maintained normalization with it. But the Arab street supports the bearers of the historical [Palestinian] cause, and our nation's dream of establishing our independent state with Jerusalem as its capital… Come, Arabs, to Jerusalem… Come to Palestine in order to emphasize its Arabness and its authenticity. Here, the descendants of Saladin from Kurdistan are arriving in Palestine. By my life, we need a leader like that Kurdish Muslim leader, to tell the invaders, 'Get out!'"

“We want to remove Israel…all of Palestine is ours,” says man on PA TV

PA TV program about how to help Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The words of a man from the Al-Amari refugee camp show how Palestinians have adopted the PA message of elimination of Israel being the ultimate goal:

"We must unite, because we want a state, we want to remove Israel; that's how the country is (i.e., should be.) Palestine is the [Mediterranean] sea and the [Jordan] river, all of Palestine is ours. Don't talk to me about ‘67 or ‘48… We must declare our state on the entire land of Palestine. Don't talk to me about ‘67, about West Jerusalem and East Jerusalem."

PA TV program In a Fighter's Home visits the home of writer Mahmoud Nassar
PA TV host (speaking from a well that provided water for the Arabs of Sajra, in the Galilee):
"We are writing here 'Returning', and Allah willing, we will return to our land and come back to it. I say to you: 'Hello, Abu Arab,' [reference to poet named Ibrahim Muhammad Salah, originally from Sajra] and I say to you, 'Allah willing, we will return to our land, which connects us with our ancestors. We are returning, Abu Arab; the Palestinians who are dispersed in foreign lands, wherever they are, are returning.' I am also writing here: 'Returning', and I'm writing my name, [to say] that I came here, and we are returning, Allah willing."
As she comes up out of the well, the host says: 'Now we'll see approximately how many dunams [of land] the Israelis stole: 7800 [dunams]."
At the end of the program, the host stands next to a Christ's Thorn Jujube tree and says: "Allah willing, this land will not forever belong to the Jews who took us out – (host corrects herself) the Zionists, because thus far we are still able to live with them, but the Zionists want to erase our existence from Palestine altogether, forever ("dum" in Arabic is the name of the tree and also means “forever”) Allah willing, it will not remain theirs forever."

Palestine, and all of Palestine, will remain alive in our hearts. We will continue to act and to be people of Ribat (religious conflict/war defending Islamic land) upon this land, until Allah implements his word… Thus, according to the Quran’s verdict, according to Allah’s verdict, Israel is destined to vanish, Allah willing.'"
Hamas leader Haniyeh: Armed resistance is path, Palestine is from the sea to the river
Source: Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), Dec. 14, 2011
Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh:
"We say today, explicitly, so it cannot be explained otherwise, that the armed resistance and the armed struggle are the path and the strategic choice for liberating the Palestinian land, from the [Mediterranean] sea to the [Jordan] river, and for the expulsion of the invaders and usurpers [Israel] from the blessed land of Palestine. The Hamas movement will lead Intifada after Intifada until we liberate Palestine - all of Palestine, Allah willing. Allah Akbar and praise Allah. We say with transparency and in a clear manner, that Palestinian reconciliation - and all sides must know this - cannot come at the expense of [our] principles, at the expense of the resistance. These principles are absolute and cannot be disputed: Palestine - all of Palestine - is from the sea to the river. We won't relinquish one inch of the land of Palestine. The involvement of Hamas at any stage with the interim objective of liberation of [only[ Gaza, the West Bank, or Jerusalem, does not replace its strategic view concerning Palestine and the land of Palestine."

He added that he is talking about all 'forms of the resistance known to this period and all periods.' He emphasized, 'We are altogether convinced that we will restore all of our land, from Rosh Hanikra (i.e., in Northern Israel) to Rafiah (i.e., southern part of the Gaza Strip), and we will join the enterprise of our glorious nation in order to realize its tremendous cultural enterprise.'
He added, 'We say to Israel - just as these prisoners [freed in the recent prisoner exchange deal] were brought out of prison, so you will be brought out of Palestine – all of Palestine… Know, Zionists, in every country in which you find yourselves: You will not extinguish the eternal oil lamp of Jerusalem, nor will you silence the sound of the [church] bells and the minarets (…) [Rather,] it is we who will annihilate your existence."

"From behind the prison bars,
From behind the prison cells of torture, a cry -
They cried, 'Forgive us, oh Palestine,
We have responded your cry and your request,
But we were unable to answer to your hope for victory and for liberation.
Do you know why?
Because your enemy betrayed us
Because your enemy imprisoned us
Because your enemy made us taste bitterness.
But don't worry, don't worry, oh Palestine,
Because pain on your behalf is light, even though our children are waiting for our return every celebration and holiday.
But don't worry Palestine,
We will liberate you
We will respond to your request and your call.
You will be liberated by our hand,
Our promise, promise, promise, oh Palestine.'"

Essay in PA-funded youth mag lauds Arafat for promising "liberation of all the Palestinian land... without compromise"
Source: Zayzafuna magazine, Dec. 1, 2011
"Yasser Arafat, the eternal leader... In his youth, destiny had him move to beloved Egypt, where he completed his university education. But the pictures from his youth that were engraved in his memory and what he had heard about Britain and the wild Zionist gangs who were maltreating and torturing the people of Palestine, awakened his burning nationalist feelings. He hurried with a group of friends to establish armed units of struggle (i.e., Fatah terror organization), and to declare its eruption with lighting the first spark, doing the first action (i.e., terror attack) in the depths of Zionist territory which shook up all their cobweb-homes... And he told the entire world that we will struggle in all ways, revolutionary and peaceful, until the liberation of all the Palestinian land, without bargaining, without compromise on any of our legal rights."

Hamas Foreign Minister: Palestinian state must be achieved “on every inch of ground”
Source: Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), Oct. 21, 2011
Speaker of Friday sermon in refugee camp in Gaza: Foreign Minister of Hamas government, Mahmoud Al-Zahar. In the audience: prisoners released in the Shalit deal.
     Al-Zahar
[speaking of Palestinian request for statehood recognition at the UN]: "We are in favor of achieving a state, but upon every inch of ground. Without relinquishing a single piece of of land. If their efforts [Abbas’ and the PA’s] lead to [a state within] the '67 borders, then let us cooperate up until that stage. But the '67 borders are not our borders. Our borders are well-known, and moreover, our borders are greater than Palestine."
Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki: Goal is end of Israel, but "you can't say that to the world"
Source: Al-Jazeera TV, Sept. 23, 2011

While the agreement is on the borders of June 4, the President [Mahmoud Abbas] understands, we understand, and everyone knows that it is impossible to realize the inspiring idea, or the great goal in one stroke. If Israel withdraws from Jerusalem, if Israel uproots the settlements, 650,000 settlers, if Israel removes the (security) fence - what will be with Israel? Israel will come to an end. If I say that I want to remove it from existence, this will be great, great, [but] it is hard. This is not a [stated] policy. You can't say it to the world. You can say it to yourself."

PA TV host hopes that Israel "will not continue to exist"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Aug. 8, 2011
PA TV program In a Fighter's Home visits the Lower Galilee.
PA TV host: "This is the Jujube tree (in Arabic: 'dum'). We eat its fruit. (The Arabic name for the tree is derived from the word meaning "to survive," "to persist"). When we say 'dum' it means something that will continue to exist; in other words, something that we love and is dear to us will continue to exist and will remain.
But our land, Allah willing, will not continue to exist for the Jews who expelled us, the Zionists. We and the Jews have not, so far, managed to live together. The Zionists want to erase our existence from Palestine. The 'dum' tree (i.e., metaphorically, 'existence'), Allah willing, will not continue to exist for them."

PA daily columnist: Return to Jerusalem, Haifa, and Jaffa is a "historical inevitability"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 16, 2011
Bader Makki, sports columnist:
“Yes, the whole world is in Palestine. It has come to emphasize the revival of Palestinian memory, which the occupation tries to erase, and to push away and to eliminate, but our cities, our villages and our towns in the Interior (i.e., in Israel) – which speak fluent Arabic – will not forget that the return to the land is a historical inevitability. This entity [Israel] has not yet learned that the will of the people will prevail, and that a right is not lost so long as it is backed up by demands. Yes, our strength is waning with age, but the dream will become a reality. Ask the mother of the Shahid and the mother of the prisoner, awaiting her son’s return in order to continue the struggle, up until Jerusalem, Haifa, and Jaffa. We shall see it.”
PA daily: "We will raise our flag over Al-Aqsa and the rest of Palestine"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 13, 2011
Sheikh Ishaq Feleifel teaches religion:
"In this lesson I wanted to talk about Cain and Abel - that's the first story on earth, whose victim was Abel, at the hands of his brother Cain - because this story shows a similarity to the Jews and their crimes. The parallel is that when Allah mentioned the rebellion of the Children of Israel and their disobedience of Allah's commandment to wage war against the Giants, He mentioned the two sons of Adam and Cain's disobedience of Allah's words, and his unjust killing of an innocent soul, which Allah forbade. The Jews, by throwing off their yoke, followed in the footsteps of the first person on earth who threw off the yoke of Allah. Their [the Jews'] evil nature is drawn from Adam's first son... I chose this story because of the similarity it contains: here the Zionist Jews kill many of the Palestinian people every day... and they imprison their [Palestinian] youth who are defending their right and seeking by all means to restore the land to themselves. This is our right, and no one is permitted to prevent us from attaining it. We are destined to restore our homeland to ourselves, Allah willing, and we shall raise our flag over Al-Aqsa [Mosque] and the rest of Palestine, Allah willing."

Essay in PLO youth magazine calls for destruction of Israel
Source: Zayzafuna magazine, Apr. 1, 2011
In an essay entitled "Journey to the occupied land,” a girl in 8th grade promises to liberate “Palestine,” which is defined as land that Israel “entered” in 1948:
“I swear by Allah, I long for this journey… to the land stolen from us in a moment of distraction. They asked us [to have] a permit to enter our [own] land (i.e., to enter Israel)… more precious than our lives; since when does an owner need permission to enter his land? And how could he relinquish his land and his honor… They [Israel] used nothing but
weapons to achieve their goal. And that is the greatest proof that they are cowards. 1948 was the year they entered our land, and again in 1967, when they thought that our dreams of restoring our homeland had come to an end. Indeed… those who thought that after the occupation no one would dream of entering his [the Palestinian’s] land (i.e., enter into Israel) as a victor were mistaken. Oh Palestine, wipe away your tears for I shall not close my eyes until you are liberated.”

PA Minister of Information: "The land will expel them [Israel], and history will curse them"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 1, 2011
“Almutawakel [Taha, PA Minister of Information] said: ‘Within the framework of political definition, I am fearful for Jerusalem. However, in the deeper spiritual, historical, cultural and social spheres I have no fear for [Jerusalem], but rather feel pity for the invaders [Israel] who will be forced, sooner or later, to take their curses with them and to flee. The land will expel them, and history will curse them.”
Arab Israeli newpaper: The Zionist project, like America, is in decline and will fall
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 11, 2011
"The birth of the Prophet in the year of the elephant was the beginning of the fall of the empires which then ruled the world, the Persian or Greek empire…
And now we, at this time, and on the birthday of Allah’s emissary, are watching the signs of the end of American rule and the fall of this rhinoceros…
We see this in the changes in Islamic societies and countries: Turkey and Iran before it, which were America’s great allies… and now Egypt and the blessed revolution against the regime of Mubarak, America’s greatest ally in the region…
And when speaking of the decline of the American empire and project in the region, what this means is the decline of the Zionist project as well, since it is connected to the American project as with an umbilical cord connecting a fetus to its mother."

Note: According to Muslim tradition, Muhammad was born in “the year of the elephant”. This name commemorates the Arab victory that year against Abraha Al-Ashram, the Christian ruler of a principality in Yemen, who marched on the Kaaba in Mecca with a huge army and many elephants. The elephant leading the expedition is said to have refused to enter Mecca. The attack was repulsed by the Arabs, with the aid of a flock of birds that flew overhead and pelted the Christian army with stones.
PA official refers to Jerusalem residents as "settlers in the occupied city"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 16, 2010
Deputy Minister of Information, poet Almutawaqel Taha:
“The settlers in the occupied city [Jerusalem] go about in it as they wish, declaring that they are the owners of these Islamic sites and claiming that [the sites] are part of the alleged Temple… The Israeli government attacked the writer, Deputy Minister of Information, Almutawaqel Taha, after he published a study concerning the Al-Buraq Wall, [i.e., The Western Wall of the Temple] in which he showed that [the wall] belongs exclusively to Muslims, and that it is an Islamic trust. [Taha] noted that in fact, by virtue of the tumult which the Israelis raised over the study, they demonstrated two means by which they always act: [the first-] casting fear on the Palestinians and Arabs, and second – that Israel is based on the means of theft and the claim of ownership of everything on which it lays its hand, while it steals the holy places in Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Hebron. He noted that [Israel] has stolen the ancient Palestinian heritage – popular foods, the Palestinian keffiyeh, and the clothing of the ‘fallah’ – claiming that these are its own heritage, and that they belong to Israel. He stated that Israel is carrying out all of these acts and actions by means of terror.”

“Advisor to the Prime Minister [Fayyad] on national affairs, Omar Al-Ghoul: ‘Netanyahu’s impossible conditions… come back to the policy of oppressive occupationist dictates. He still insists that the Palestinian authority recognize the Jewishness of the State of Israel – which would mean withholding civic rights from the Palestinians inside the Green Line [i.e., Arab Israeli citizens] and nullification of the right of return of the Palestinian refugees. This is something which the Palestinian leadership, and any Palestinian resident who believes in the peace option, does not accept.”

"Occupation forces arrested [Prisoner] Basem [Al-Khandaqaji] on Nov. 2nd, 2004, following the Carmel Market operation [terror attack], in which three Israelis were killed and a little less than 50 others were injured. His father told Al-Hayat al-Jadida: ‘When Basem was arrested, we thought the detention wouldn’t last long… He was given three life sentences, and he began his new path in prison.’ When the judge asked him to say something after the sentence was passed, Basem gave a moving political and human speech. He said, ‘In the past, you [Israelis] were the number one victim… I wasn’t born then; it was the tragedy of my people that was born. You turned from victim into a monster; you didn’t use gas chambers, but rather things that were worse than them. You killed and annihilated generations from among my people …’ When the judge asked him if he was guilty, Basem answered: ‘Address that question to the Israeli leaders; concerning the massacre that they carried out against a defenseless people. You are the new Nazis upon the earth, and hopefully we will enjoy the destruction and ruin that you will bring upon your own people because of your barbarism.’"

How will they wage resistance? They will resist with their fingernails. They are people who seek Martyrdom for Allah, as much as they want to reach Gaza, but the first [Martyrdom] is more desirable." Click here to view

PA daily: Israeli books should be burned

Hafez Barghouti, editor of official PA daily, excerpts from editorial:
"Egyptian Minister Farouk Hosni lost the contest for the position of Director-General of UNESCO. His defeat was to be expected, following the Israeli campaign against him for having stated in the Egyptian parliament that he would burn any Israeli book that he found in an Egyptian library. However, this statement, which has been used against him as an Antisemitic statement, is not the direct cause of his defeat. Had he not made this statement, there would have been an Israeli campaign against him for not having visited Israel throughout his entire tenure as Egyptian Minister of Culture. Passing through Israel is a condition for receiving "quality certification" to enter international circles. Without it, the sword of [the accusation of] of Antisemitism would have hung over him…
Marwan Barghouti: The armed resistance will continue
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 4, 2009
Marwan Barghouti, Fatah Secretary in the West Bank and member of Fatah Central Committee, in a statement read at the Sixth General Fatah Conference in August 2009:
"Finally, Barghouti once again renewed the promise and the oath to our people and to Fatah members everywhere, that the flag of the resistance will remain flying and will not come down until the occupation ended, and that we will continue in the path of the Shahids (Martyrs) and the prisoners – ‘the way of Fatah,’ the way of the struggle. [He added:] ‘The last day of the period of occupation is the first day of peace in the region; there is no peace, no security and no stability except with the disappearance of the occupation and the settlers, and the end of the occupation is closer than many imagine it to be. The fate of the settlements in the [West] Bank and in Jerusalem will be no better than that of Gush Katif and Kfar Darom in Gaza. The occupation will end up in the dustbin of history as an example of the racism and of the Fascist and Nazi regimes. Our people, bearing the most noble, respectable and just cause known to humankind in modern history, will prevail.'"

Note: Marwan Barghouti - serving five life sentences for orchestrating terror attacks against Israeli civilians. When arrested in 2002, he headed the Tanzim (Fatah terror faction). After he was convicted and imprisoned, he was re-elected member of the Palestinian Authority parliament.
PA daily: Israel is a passing, transient spirit
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 24, 2009
Yihya Rabah, daily columnist in official PA newspaper
"The Palestinians left their homeland [during the 1948 war] and did not return… They left, thinking that their absence would not last long… By now it has reached sixty one years… The State of Israel cannot bear the contradiction, being a country that lives like a demon that takes possession of another body. The State of Israel lives within the Palestinian body, in Palestinian land and Palestinian cities… and despite all the aggression, and despite the whole ugly deception, Israel… looks like a demon that enters a person's body, causing him suffering and depriving him of sleep and torturing him. But it remains… a passing, transient spirit, which dwells in a body in an abnormal manner, and one day it will leave him, as soon as the sick body is restored to physical and spiritual health… All of Palestine, from the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] sea, from Rosh ha-Nikra to Rafiah, is the homeland of the absent Palestinian."
