At the [Fatah] movement’s Sixth Convention, it was clearly stated that armed resistance is one form [of resistance], not the only form… All the revolutions in the world adopted prolonged, armed resistance, and it achieved results. We adhere to armed resistance as well as to popular and political resistance. However, it will be used according to the interests of the Palestinian people.”
