Fatah honors several murderers in Bethlehem: "Loyalty to their rifle"; Murderer of 2 "created a legend and confronted the enemy"

Secretary of Fatah Bethlehem branch Muhammad Al-Masri: “From this land that has been painted red with blood, from this land which knows that what was taken by force will only be returned by force… What you see today – loyalty to the Martyrs, loyalty to their rifle, loyalty to their path – is nothing but a continuation of Fatah’s path. This path that caresses with the tips of its fingers the rebel’s rifle, the diplomat’s pen… When there are those who think that we are burying it [Fatah], it bursts forth from the ashes like the phoenix. And here a lion cub (i.e., terrorist, murdered 2), who did not reach the age of 20, burst forth and created a legend and confronted the enemy… heroic Martyr fighter Omar Abu Laila. In this way he conveyed the message… of all of Fatah’s armed branches… Our military uniforms are different, but our weapon is one… Our blood is sacrificed for one homeland: Palestine, from the [Mediterranean] Sea to the [Jordan] River (i.e., all of Israel)... Today, we are renaming squares after our Martyrs: From Omar Abu Laila Square… to Hussein Abayat Square [commander Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades], to Atef Abayat Square (i.e., involved in murder of 1), to Raed Abu Freiha Square (i.e., murdered 2), our bullets are thundering and repeating the names like memory… This is Fatah as you know it – Fatah of… Atef Abayat, Hussein Abayat, Raed Abayat, [Dalal] Mughrabi (i.e., led murder of 37)… and Ayyat Al-Akhras (i.e., suicide bomber, murdered 2).”
Omar Abu Laila – 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist who stabbed and murdered Israeli soldier Gal Keidan, and shot and murdered Rabbi Achiad Ettinger, a father of 12, at Ariel Junction on March 17, 2019. Abu Laila was killed on March 19, 2019, during an exchange of gunfire with Israeli soldiers who attempted to arrest him.
Hussein Abayat - Commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades in the West Bank. He was involved in shooting attacks against Israeli civilians and military in the Bethlehem area, including the murder of Sgt. Max Hazan and the injuring of border policeman Shimon Ohana. Abayat was killed in November 2000 when he was hit by a rocket fired by an IDF helicopter.
Atef Abayat – Tanzim (Fatah terror faction) commander in Bethlehem who was accused of murdering Sarit Amrani in a shooting attack in the West Bank (Sept. 20, 2001). He was also accused of shooting at the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo. Abayat was killed in a car explosion about a month after the murder of Sarit Amrani. PMW has been unable to verify the circumstances surrounding his death.
Raed Abu Freiha - Raed Abayat – Palestinian terrorist, a member of the Fatah Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades terror organization, who murdered 15-year-old Israeli Avi Boaz on Jan. 15, 2002, in a drive-by shooting east of Bethlehem, and Israeli police officer Moshe Dayan on March 2, 2002, who was ambushed by Abayat and fellow terrorists and shot while riding a motorcycle near Bethlehem. Abayat was killed in an exchange of gunfire on April 3, 2006.
Dalal Mughrabi – female Palestinian terrorist who led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history, known as the Coastal Road massacre, in 1978, when she and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway, murdering 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70.
Ayyat Al-Akhras - The youngest female Palestinian suicide bomber (aged 17). A member of Fatah, Al-Akhras carried out a suicide bombing attack near a Jerusalem supermarket on March 29, 2002, murdering 2 and wounding 28.
