Palestinian Authority Ambassador to Lebanon, Abbas Zaki:
"We must understand why Israel was established... [The Europeans] wanted to get rid of the Jews... at the same time, oil was discovered in the Arab region... Then, they solved the [Jewish] problem by exporting [Jews to] Israel and controlling the region's wealth. The State of Israel does not belong to the Jews and it is an ongoing [colonial] project, an outpost of imperialism."
