PA TV: Balfour Declaration was Europe's "solution to get rid of them (the Jews)"
|
|
Source:
Palestinian TV (Fatah), Jan. 1, 2013
|
Excerpt from the film Fatah: Revolution until Victory, broadcast on PA TV in honor of Fatah's 48th anniversary:
"Faced with the Jews' schemes Europe could not bear their character traits, monopolies, corruption, and their control and climbing up position in government. In 1290, King Edward I issued a decree banishing the Jews [from England]. Following him were France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Czechoslovakia, Spain and Italy. The European nations felt that they had suffered a tragedy by providing refuge for the Jews. Later the Jews obtained the Balfour Declaration, and Europe saw it as an ideal solution to get rid of them."

PA daily: Israel was established as “a colonialist project… with the aim of ruling the land and the Arab treasures”
|
|
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 27, 2012
|
Headline: "Anniversary of George Habash's death"
"Yesterday was the fourth anniversary commemorating the founder of the Arab Nationalist Movement and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Dr. George Habash. This doctor left us, leaving his fragrant memory, his national and native fragrance… George Habash was a school for the national struggle. He was characterized by great honesty and integrity… When the supervisory committees accepted some decision in the direction of a certain tactic in a certain political situation, he accepted it, sorrowfully. [His sorrow] was because he believed that the struggle against the Israeli occupiers, who established their state and their colonialist project at the expense of the Palestinian people, at the expense of its interests and at the expense of its national identity, with the aim of ruling the land and the Arab treasures – [this struggle] could only be through causing damage to the occupation, using all means of struggle, first and foremost among them the armed struggle…
May the memory of the tremendous leaders of the revolution – George Habash, Yasser Arafat, Abu Jihad, Abu Ali Mustafa, Abu Iyad… be blessed."
Note: George Habash was the founder of the terror organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). The PFLP, which rejected the Oslo Accords (1993), planned and carried out numerous terror attacks against Israeli civilians since its founding in 1967 and throughout the Palestinian terror campaign between 2000- 2005 (the Intifada).

Balfour supported Jewish homeland to get Jews out of Europe and get "genocidal weapons" invented by Jews
|
|
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 3, 2011

The 1917 Balfour Declaration was a letter from the British Foreign Minister Arthur Balfour to Lord Rothschild of the Zionist movement, which expressed Britain's support for "the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people." Every year on the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, Palestinian Authority leaders and official media issue harsh statements attacking it.
Headline: "Tubas girls 'judge' Balfour promise [Balfour Declaration, 1917] in their letters"
"Girls from Tubas [in the West Bank] chose to mark the 94th anniversary of the cursed Balfour promise [Balfour Declaration, 1917] by writing letters of sorrow and pain to the Queen of the United Kingdom, Elizabeth II, and to the British Foreign Minister, William Hague, since it was the letter by that country's Foreign Minister Arthur James Balfour, which has caused the Palestinian people ongoing suffering. During a workshop held yesterday by the PA Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the city's Education Administration, girls from the Tubas [West Bank] high school wrote dozens of open letters to politicians and girls in Britain... Amina Muhammad wrote in her letter the real reasons that caused Balfour to give his dark promise, first and foremost [the desire] to be rid of the Jews in Europe and to award them a prize for the genocidal weapons which they had invented, which helped Britain to annihilate more people."

PA daily: Balfour Declaration was part of plan to free England and Europe of "the burden of the Jewish problem"
|
|
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 2, 2011

"The President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, expressed the hope of seeing Palestine as a state in the UN, on Sept. 21, 2011, and we believed him... It has been said of the Balfour promise [Balfour Declaration, 1917] that it was a promise by someone who had no ownership [of the land] to those who had no right [to it]. We said of Obama's promise that it was a promise by someone who is unable, to those whose right [to the land] it is already. Balfour's promise to the Jews of Europe - a homeland in Palestine - was a preventive step, because in his letter he sketched a road map for freeing his country and Europe of the burden of the Jewish problem, and of the bases for the spread of Communism in western Europe, which was led by the poor, the European workers, and the Jews... The Jews of the Zionist enterprise sought a promise from Balfour, who had the ability, because they knew that only the strongest power in the world at the time [Britain] could impose the conditions for the establishment of a state for the Jews. His promise was an ominous sign, [bringing] disasters upon the Palestinians, the Arabs, and the nations of the region and the world."

Abbas wrote research papers claiming Zionism was a European “imperialist colonialist movement”
|
|
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 27, 2011
|
“Chairman of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas raised this claim in the research papers he wrote, as testified by a professor of political science at Bir Zeit University, Dr. Samih Hamouda:
“Yesterday, the department of political science at Bir Zeit University, in cooperation with the Madar Center for Research, held a symposium… Professor Samih Hamouda, of the political science department at Bir Zeit University, presented an analysis of the research papers written by President Mahmoud Abbas on the subject of Zionist ideology. Prof. Hamouda said that in his writings and research, the President linked Zionism to imperialism by examining the reasons for the growth of Zionism, through scientific analysis of European society and the problem of the Jews in Europe, and linking this with the aspirations of the West in the Arabic East. He added, ‘In the President’s research, the Zionist movement is not Jewish, nor does it flow from the desires of the Jews themselves. Rather, it is an imperialist colonialist movement which sought to use the Jews and to enlist them to further the western colonialist plans.’”

Israel established as result of a "colonialist settler Zionist plan"

Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 27, 2011

Official PA daily columnist Adel Abd Al-Rahman:
"The Zionists must acknowledge publicly, in front of the world, that the Jews have no connection to the Palestinian Arab land, upon whose ruins arose the colonialist settler Zionist plan that settles and expels, represented by the Israeli apartheid state. That which occurred two thousand years ago (i.e., the Jewish/Israeli presence in the land), assuming that it is true, represents in the book of history nothing more than invention and falsification and a coarse and crude form of colonialism."

Zionism was an integral part of an "imperialist plan to seize the Arab homeland"
|
|
Source:
Palestinian TV (Fatah), May 19, 2011
|
On PA TV history program Witnesses and Testimonies, Palestinian scholar Anis Fawzi Al-Qassam talks about the drafts of the Balfour Declaration drawn up by Haim Weizmann and claims that one of them read, ‘The Zionist movement is the sole and legitimate representative of the so-called Jewish nation’ and other scholars express the belief that Zionism was part of a colonialist plan:
Palestinian scholar Khaled Ayed: “The Zionist enterprise in its entirety is essentially a settlement enterprise which began at the end of the 19th century. It was and remains based on bringing over Jewish immigrants, seizing Arab land in Palestine by all possible means, and establishing colonies.”
Lebanese scholar Mas’oud Zaher: “The Zionist enterprise is an integral part of the imperialist plan to seize the Arab homeland and other parts of the world. This period of the imperialist plan witnessed every sort of fascism, Nazism, Zionism, dictatorship and military regimes – all of these served the imperialist master plan. Zionism, like fascism, Nazism, dictatorship and the military regimes, including the Arab ones, served – and continue to serve – this plan.”

PA daily: "The colonialist governments in Europe" established Israel "in order to deal with the Jewish problem"
|

Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 15, 2011

Official PA daily columnist Muwaffaq Matar claims that the US tries to export the problem of radical Islam, which it nurtured for its own ends, back to its countries of origin, now that it has become a danger to the US
“The US is once again attempting [to implement] the solutions that were invented by the colonialist governments in Europe in order to deal with the Jewish problem and with the parties of the young Zionist movement, at the beginning of the 19th century. Great Britain acted then to transfer the whole problem from the heart of Europe to the heart of the Middle East region, by means of the promise by British Foreign Minister Balfour to establish a national home for the Jews in Palestine.”

Fatah: Israel’s establishment was an international conspiracy by Allied powers
|
|
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Apr. 26, 2011
|
Headline: “Fatah: The San Remo Conference proves that the [Allied] Powers supported Zionism at the expense of the Arabs’ causes”
“The Fatah movement recalled the cursed San Remo Conference [of April 25, 1920], in which the Allies awarded the Mandate for Palestine to Britain…
An announcement published yesterday by the Information Committee of the [Fatah] Commission for Recruitment and Organization said that the San Remo Conference, which was attended by the colonialist Allied Powers and which affirmed the Balfour Declaration, was one of the main international conspiracies during that period to further Jewish settlement in Palestine. It was the San Remo Conference which brought catastrophe and disaster upon the land of Palestine and upon the Palestinian people, since the Allied Powers had officially authorized Britain to enforce Mandatory rule upon Palestine, in order to establish a national home for the Jewish people in Palestine. It is therefore no wonder that the Zionist gangs called the San Remo agreement the Jewish ‘Magna Carta.’”

PM Fayyad’s advisor: "Racist Israeli apartheid state" founded on "colonialism"
|
|
Source:
Palestinian TV (Fatah), Apr. 8, 2011
|
Political advisor to PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, Omar Al-Ghoul, criticizes Israel's attack on Hamas and uses the opportunity to demonize Israel and attack Israel's legitimacy as a state:
"Israel is a country that was founded on aggression and colonialism, and it lives on the continuation of bloodshed, war and violence. The racist Israeli apartheid state is incapable of turning to peace and coexistence between nations... This aggression is currently focused on Gaza, under the pretext of a shell being fired at an Israeli bus. The [school] bus wasn't that badly damaged, but Israel wants to use the attack on the bus as an excuse for its latest war crime against our people."
Note: Hamas fired an anti-tank missile at an Israeli school bus just minutes after dozens of children had gotten off. The one child who remained on the bus was killed.

PA TV News broadcast: Report on the anniversary of the Karameh battle – "the first Arab victory against Israel"
PA TV reporter ends the news report by saying:
"The Al-Karameh [battle in 1968] was the turning point in restoring [Arab] honor following the defeats of the Arab armies against Israel, which had been established by an international conspiracy upon the ruins of a people which remains alive and whose voice rings out, thanks to the rifle of the rebels at the village of Al-Karameh in Jordan."
Note: In 1968, Israeli army forces attacked the Al-Karameh village in Jordan, where groups of Fatah terrorists had embedded themselves. Arafat, who managed to escape, used the heavy losses sustained by the Israeli army for propaganda purposes and declared the battle a great victory which erased the disgrace of the 1967 Six Day War defeat.

"European and American forces of evil" supported Zionism to be rid of Jews
|
|
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 1, 2011

Headline: “Zionism reproduces the Holocaust”
“Day by day, Zionist racism is becoming more firmly and clearly entrenched in Israeli society, having been born from the womb of the reactionary worldview, the worldview of the ghetto, ‘God’s chosen people’ and ‘the Promised Land’ – and from the books of slaughter, according to which ‘God commanded the Children of Israel to slaughter them [Amalek] and to slaughter their children, their wives, their elderly, and even their livestock, two thousand years ago.’
The rabbis of death and the promoters of pagan Zionist thought have continued to spew their poison among the Jews, in order to stir up and rouse feelings of animosity and hatred against the Palestinians, since the European and American forces of evil facilitated for them the [fulfillment of the] idea of the ‘national home’, in order to be rid of them and to remove from the European [social] fabric the results and implications of the Holocaust which they carried out against the Jews of Europe in Nazi Germany. This was [done] with the aim of tearing apart Arab land, by planting them as an imperialist colonialist enterprise in Arab Palestine. Instead of standing against the West’s colonialist plans and ideas, the Zionist Jews were glad to be the instrument of and fuel for the colonialist enterprise. They enjoyed the game of deception and the forging of facts, after dipping their hands in Palestinian and Arab blood. They plundered the Palestinian land and national interests, and established their state upon the ruins of the Palestinian Arab people, under the faded and false slogan, ‘A nationless land for a landless nation.’ … |

Motivation behind Balfour Declaration to rid Europe of Jewish burden

"The Ministry of Culture Administration in Tulkarem, in cooperation with the [Department of] Public Relations of the Security Forces, held a political conference under the heading, 'The West and Balfour's Promises,' to mark the 93rd anniversary of the cursed Balfour Declaration... Lecturer Na'aman Shahrour spoke about this anniversary, which still sticks in the throats of the Palestinians... He said: 'The Palestinian people is still bleeding since the British Foreign Minister gave this promise, resulting in all that has happened throughout the years and what is happening now - killing, destruction, and theft... All this in order to be rid of this burden, called the Jews, which troubled Britain and Europe, who wished to be rid of this burden - even at the expense of a different nation.'" |

Europe created criminal Israel out of guilt complex

"While the world was raising its voice to judge the Nazis and putting up gallows to hang the criminals in Nuremberg, other criminals were spreading killing, destruction and expulsion in Palestine, before the eyes of the world. This is the free world – the world that could judge the criminals [in Nuremberg], but at the same time created out of the victim a future criminal, and released its reins, under the pretext of a guilt complex – a complex stimulated and invoked only when the victim was clearly Jewish or, later, Israeli."

Hamas Foreign Minister, Mahmoud Al-Zahar, at National Conference for Maintaining Principles and for Support of Jerusalem, held in Gaza and broadcast live:
"On behalf of all of you [present at the event] I direct a clear message to the Israeli enemy: We say, at the very moments that you are inaugurating the new House of Destruction [the Hurva synagogue] – Oh historical project of destruction! At this moment we must make a recommendation to you. You, who killed your prophets, and whose fate throughout history has been destruction; you – even if you have an atom bomb – you are headed for destruction. You, who ruined every country you lived in - [it was] because of your actions [that] you were killed, you were expelled. You were destined for destruction and you remain so." |

A Zionist state solved the Jewish problem in Europe

Column by Khalil Al-Tamizi, describing the history of Zionism:
"The Jews sought a land to settle as a solution to their situation; Europe applauded this trend because it wanted to get rid of the Jews and their problems, and thus arose the Zionist movement with a secular leadership... and Herzl began to employ the myth of the land promised by the Torah, which became the most important principle of Zionist thought." |

Europe established Israel as giant ghetto to get rid of Zionists

Palestinian TV (Fatah), Nov. 2, 2009

On the PA TV program "Palestine This Morning":
Abd Al-Karim Samara, political commentator: "In 1917 Britain was a world power... and the Zionist movement was able to apply great pressure within the British government and, seemingly, also within British society, and this weight began to move – at a certain stage, when Germany was close to becoming the top world power, the Zionist movement tried to woo Hitler at that time, but the [Zionist] movement was hesitating whether to turn towards the Soviet Union or towards America… and when the compass pointed towards America, a great deal of activity began to increase the Zionist influence and the Zionist lobby in the United States. In other words, there is always an attachment to the strongest power and an attempt to influence its decision. And so it was – Balfour was one of the dignitaries who were at first hostile towards Zionism, but they began to work on him and to pressure him until he surrendered, and the Balfour Declaration was issued…
The Balfour Declaration is a vague promise, in general, but it was put to use – it spoke about a national entity or homeland for the Jews in Palestine… as though the Palestinians were primitive local inhabitants… in need of development.
Host: "In what way could it be said that Europe, and some countries outside Europe, had had enough of the Jews, and therefore made efforts to find a region or [place for a] concentration for Jews, to export them from the ghettos in their countries to a larger ghetto, and Palestine was chosen – or, other areas were chosen, too, but it was Palestine's misfortune that Israel was established here." |

We, as Arabs, as negotiators, as Palestinians when we meet with Europeans [should say]: 'You created and implanted a thieving entity upon Palestinian land...'
