Hamas TV to Israelis: We "love death more than you love life"

On Nov. 14, 2012, Israel launched an aerial offensive in the Gaza Strip called Operation Pillar of Defense, with the aim of crippling the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza and protecting Israeli civilians from Hamas rocket fire. Hamas released this video as part of their campaign to scare Israeli soldiers:
"From the Al-Qassam Brigades to the Zionist soldiers: The Al-Qassam Brigades love death more than you love life."

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri: "You [Israel] think that we will be afraid of your killing policy and of these threats. We say to you: This policy is futile when dealing with leaders like Hamas leaders. Hamas leaders seek Martyrdom. You scare us with what we love (death). Note: Ahmed Al-Ja'abari was the head of Hamas' military wing. He was killed by Israel on Nov. 14, 2012, as part of Israel's Operation Pillar of Defense, aimed at crippling the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza.

“Allah, who created them [Jews], and knows their nature well, knows that they love life. (Quran:) 'You will find them the greediest of all people for life.' It doesn’t matter what kind of life. It doesn’t matter if that life is in disgrace, it doesn’t matter if that life is in submissiveness and shame. But they will be greedy for it. This greediness causes them miserliness and dread.”

Palestinians see Israeli "love of life" as weakness

“The way must be found to be rid of this Zionist enemy. The practical solution came from the weakest of Arabs states, Lebanon, which rose up to turn into the strongest of Arab states, by virtue of its brave people... who counted on unbeaten weapons - the will to fight against those [Israelis] who fear battle and love life.”
