Fatah TV music video with footage of stabbing attack encourages Martyrdom for Al-Aqsa: “O our Martyr, we must follow in your footsteps”
Source: Fatah-run Awdah TV, Jan. 9, 2017

Lyrics: "Our Jerusalem, we’re at your service when you ask...
Our Jerusalem is a jewel of gold in the crown of the Arabs
O sun that lights up the homeland and is not extinguished
O [Israeli Prime Minister] Netanyahu, listen or we'll make you listen
Your army needs to disappear from Palestine...
No matter how wide our Al-Aqsa is, there will be no place for you (i.e., Israel)
It won't allow a division (i.e., of prayer times for Muslims and Jews)
If you are not convinced, we'll convince you by force...
O our Martyr, we must follow in your footsteps
The homeland’s wound has been healed by your blow [against Israel]."

In an unscheduled meeting that was held against the background of the car ramming operation, the reduced [Israeli] Political-Security Cabinet decided to demolish the home in the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood in East Jerusalem of the family of the Martyr (Shahid) that carried out the operation, not to transfer his body to his family, to reject any request the family has submitted or will submit for unification with their relatives in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and to blockade Jabel Mukaber and arrest anyone who shows joy over the operation…
The truck driver, a resident of Jabel Mukaber, died as a Martyr, shot and killed by the occupation forces (sic., he was shot by a civilian), after he crashed into soldiers in the park in the settlement neighborhood of 'Armon Hanatziv,' which overlooks the Old City of Jerusalem."

Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 29, 2016
Headline: “The occupation sentences a prisoner from Jerusalem to 35 years”
“The occupation’s court sentenced prisoner Abd Al-Aziz Mar’i from the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem, to a 35 year active prison term yesterday [Dec. 28, 2016].
This sentence was given after the court convicted Mar’i of aiding Martyr (Shahid) Muhannad Halabi (i.e., terrorist, killed 2), who died as a Martyr when he was shot and killed by the occupation in the Old [City of] Jerusalem approximately 14 months ago.”

Abd Al-Aziz Mar’i was sentenced to 35 years for initiating, planning and convincing terrorist Muhannad Halabi to carry out his stabbing attack in which he on Oct. 3, 2015 murdered 2 Israelis by stabbing them to death and injured two others.

Muhannad Halabi
- 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist who killed 2 Israelis, Rabbi Nehemiah Lavi and Aharon Bennett, and injured Bennett’s wife, Adele, and their 2-year-old son in a stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem on Oct. 3, 2015. Following the attack, he was shot and killed by Israeli security forces. Prior to his attack, in a post to his private Facebook page, the terrorist referred to recent terror attacks as part of a "third Intifada,” and said that it was a response to Israel’s actions at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and that the Palestinian people would not “succumb to humiliation.” This is a reference to the PA libel that Israel is plotting to take over and destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque and to the PA's portrayal of Jews praying on the Temple Mount as "an invasion of the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
