Fatah: UK PM May’s statements celebrating centenary of the Balfour Declaration are “unacceptable” and support of the Israeli “racist apartheid regime”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 27, 2017
Headline: “Fatah: May’s statements are unacceptable, and they must correct the historical mistake”
“The Fatah Movement emphasized that British Prime Minister Theresa May’s insistence on celebrating the 100th anniversary of the ominous Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration) is completely unacceptable and is a type of renewal of the crime and direct encouragement and support of the occupation and the racist apartheid regime being implemented against our people by the Israeli occupation state.
Fatah Revolutionary Council member and Fatah Spokesman Osama Al-Qawasmi said in a press statement last night [Oct. 26, 2017] that the first thing the government of Britain must do is to recognize the State of Palestine, instead of celebrating the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) of the Palestinian people, the first signs of which appeared in the ominous promise [issued] on Nov. 2, 1917.”

PA Ministry of Information: UK PM’s celebration of UK’s role in Israel’s creation via the Balfour Declaration is “repetition of the greatest political crime in the history of mankind”
Source: WAFA, official PA news agency, Oct. 26, 2017
Headline: “The [PA] Ministry of Information: The British prime minister’s statements are a repeat of the political crime”
“The [PA] Ministry of Information said that the determination of British Prime Minister Theresa May to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration), and the fact that she took pride before the parliament in the role of her state in the establishment and strengthening of the occupation state ‘Israel’ (see note below –Ed.), constitute a repetition of the greatest political crime in the history of mankind… The ministry emphasized in a statement today (Thursday) [Oct. 26, 2017] that May’s refusal to apologize for this dark promise and her stubbornness regarding it, not only reflect extremist political trends, but also indicate a large moral crisis whose source is Britain... The ministry reminded May and all of the supporters of the dark promise in the government of Britain that if they continue to defend the political crime, this will not contribute in any way to establishing a just and comprehensive peace – not only in Palestine, but throughout the world.”

Op-ed by PLO legislator says Britain ought to be “ashamed” of the “despicable” Balfour Declaration
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 26, 2017
Excerpt of an op-ed by Khaled Jamil Mismar, member of the Palestinian National Council – the legislative body of the PLO

“[Britain] is not ashamed of the despicable act that the criminal [British Foreign Secretary Arthur] Balfour committed 100 years ago, and is not trying to cover its ugly image. It is silent before the peoples of the world out of shame before these peoples for what it committed against a people that is struggling, which lived in peace on its holy land... Britain is not ashamed… but rather adds to its error and shame and wishes to celebrate – yes to celebrate, O the shame - the 100th anniversary of the ominous [Balfour] Promise (i.e., Declaration) and forgets the pain and trouble that it has brought to our people during all of these 100 years. And behold Balfour’s descendant, the criminal Theresa May – Prime Minister of Britain – calls on the criminal [Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin] Netanyahu to openly celebrate this despicable crime together with her… Britain’s history is full of tragedies against the peoples of Asia and Africa. It exploited peoples in these lands, stole their assets, and sucked the blood of their inhabitants.”

PLO official: Celebrating 100 years since the Balfour Declaration turns Britain into an “enemy of the principles of justice and humanity”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 20, 2017
“The PLO Department for Refugee Affairs yesterday [Oct. 19, 2017] condemned the British government’s announcement [that it will be] celebrating the 100th anniversary of the issuing of the Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration), which falls will take place on Nov. 2, 2017...
In a statement yesterday, PLO Executive Committee member and Director of the Department for Refugee Affairs Dr. Zakariya Al-Agha opposed the British government’s declaration [that it will be] marking the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Promise, and its call to senior Israeli officials to participate in the celebration ceremony. He noted that the announcement of the ceremony is considered a blow to the Palestinian people, and it turns Britain into an enemy of the principles of justice and humanity... He emphasized that Britain’s refusal to apologize and its insistence on holding a ceremony with senior Israeli officials on the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Promise will be met by official Palestinian action, by putting Britain on trial and dealing with this case before the international courts. This is if Britain will not take back its opposition to apologizing and acknowledging that the Balfour decision was a historical mistake.”

Abbas’ advisor: US Ambassador “motivated by satanic urge”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Sept. 8, 2017

Official PA TV, Friday prayers from the mosque at the PA headquarters in Ramallah. PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muhaisen are in the audience.

Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs and Supreme Shari’ah Judge: "One of the representatives of the superpowers - who some people consider to be the most expert and knowledgeable people, the greatest supporters of justice, and the greatest democrats - one of them [US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman] spoke several days ago about the occupation, which is clear even to the biggest idiot, and all the more so to a wise man. Regarding the Israeli occupation of the land of Palestine - he [Friedman] said that it is an ‘alleged occupation,’ in other words: ‘You claim there is an occupation? It isn't really an occupation.’ What idiocy is this? What satanic urge motivates these people? These are people who have lost all morals, who watch the oppressed and support the oppressors and stand by their side."

Palestinian officials: PA will not change salaries for terrorists policy, despite US pressure
Source: Al-Quds, June 15, 2017
Headline: “Senior Palestinian sources to Al-Quds: The PA has not changed its position on the allowances of the Martyrs and prisoners, and it will not stop paying them; Commentators: Most of the Martyrs are civilians, and thousands of prisoners did not carry out acts of murder”
“Al-Quds learned yesterday [June 14, 2017] from senior Palestinian sources that the PA has not changed its position regarding paying the allowances (mukhassasat) to the Martyrs’ (Shahids’) families and to the prisoners, and that the statements attributed to American Secretary of State Rex Tillerson regarding the PA’s intent to stop paying these allowances are incorrect, and constitute part of the tendentious incitement campaign that [Israeli] Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli media outlets are leading against the Palestinian leadership and the PA. The sources emphasized… that the Israeli incitement campaign… is behind these demands to which the Palestinian side – which has emphasized time after time that the issue of the Martyrs and prisoners is a public national issue – cannot agree… In the meantime, Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs Minister Issa Karake yesterday [June 14, 2017] emphasized that there is no truth in what was ascribed to Tillerson. He said that these news items are incorrect, and emphasized our people’s responsibility towards the families of its Martyrs and towards its prisoners, who have made all of these sacrifices for the freedom of our people and its independence.”
Al-Aqsa preacher calls to "destroy Trump" and for extermination of Jews
Source: YouTube channel "Aqsa Calls", May 21, 2017
Al-Aqsa Calls YouTube channel, speech by Salafist preacher Ali Abu Ahmad at the Al-Aqsa Mosque

Salafist preacher Ali Abu Ahmad: "Servants of God, the Satan from the White House, [American President Donald] Trump, who does not have even the most minimal human and ethical values, will meet with the rulers of the small countries of destruction in order to talk to them about moderate Islam. Trump will be in Saudi Arabia, and afterwards will visit the Jewish entity, and afterwards the Vatican, and in this way he will visit all three religions. This means that Trump wishes to strike a blow against Islam and the Muslims by [saying] there is no hatred towards Judaism and Christianity, and starting form today we will be an example of tolerance and love and cooperation in order to strike a blow against the Muslims, who Trump calls the extremists, and we have no one but Allah to depend upon…
The Muslim prisoners in the occupation's prisons are hunger striking, while the rulers of Saudi Arabia spend millions in order to receive the head of the heretics, Trump. Servants of God, this is indeed a crusade against Islam and the Muslims. Servants of God, nation of Islam, your rulers are going out to action, but not to save you, but rather to plot against you…
The traitor from Jordan has enlisted his army, but not to liberate the destination of Allah's messenger [Muhammad's] Night Journey (i.e., the Al-Aqsa Mosque), but rather to murder Muslims in Syria, in order to please his masters…
Allah, provide us with the righteous caliphate soon, according to the prophets' custom. Allah, destroy Trump and the plotters. Allah, destroy all of the Jews."
PLO official: Calls to stop salaries are "insolence and an act of provocation"; recipients are "freedom fighters," not terrorists
Source: Donia Al-Watan (independent Palestinian news agency), Apr. 22, 2017
Headline: "The call to stop the allowances of the families of the Martyrs, prisoners, and wounded is insolence and an act of provocation"
"PLO Executive Committee member and member of the political bureau of the Democratic Front [for the Liberation of Palestine] Tayseer Khaled emphasized that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements about stopping the salaries of the Martyrs (Shahids), prisoners, and wounded are insolence and an act of provocation, and come as part of an organized campaign led by the occupation government in coordination with the American administration and several European parties.
Khaled added in an interview with the media outlets that this campaign is not meant to examine the will of the Palestinians to advance in the process of the political arrangement or the peace plan that the American administration is talking about. It is a trial balloon and a tool to measure the willingness to make a series of concessions - which the Al-Quds newspaper reported on from reliable and knowledgeable sources in Washington - including the Palestinian side's return to negotiations without preconditions and stopping the payment of the financial allowances to the prisoners in the prisons and their families. This is under the pretext that this is liable to encourage 'terror,' according to the claims of parties in the Israeli government and the American administration.
He emphasized: 'The source of terror in the region is Jewish–Israeli, and those whose allowances the American administration is demanding to stop are freedom fighters, and the Palestinian side cannot relate to these provocative demands."
