Hamas terrorist released in Shalit deal requests to finish BA that he started in Israeli prison
Released Palestinian terrorist, Muhammad Sharateha:
TV host: "Muhammad Sharateha was released in the Shalit deal, and sheds light on one of the most stormy affairs in Israel - the kidnapping of 2 [Israeli] soldiers in 1989. Sharateha was a member of the [terror] squad, and he is the one who killed Ilan Sa'adon and refused to reveal where the body was buried. 7 years and 4 months they searched for the body of Ilan Sa'adon.
Sharateha: "The order [to kidnap] was given by [Hamas leaders] Yassin and Shehada. I did what I did. I don't regret it and never will."
Host: "He has a small request: He is just about to finish his BA at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He now asks to be able to finish his degree [that he started in prison]."

Note: In October 2011, the Israeli government agreed to release 1,027 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prison in exchange for Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who had been held hostage by Hamas for more than 5 years. Muhammad Sharateha was released in the deal.
