Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Jews/Israelis are evil
Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will. The PA presents Jews as possessing inherently evil traits. Jews are said to be treacherous, corrupt, deceitful and unfaithful by nature. These Jewish “attributes” and traditions are presented as the unchangeable nature of Jews. Forgeries and fiction masquerading as history are used to document and support the libel that Judaism is in essence racist and evil. Jews are said to be planning and executing heinous crimes, including burning Palestinians in ovens, murder, using prisoners for Nazi-like experiments, and more. If unchecked, these crimes constitute a mortal danger, not only to all Muslims and Arabs but to all of humanity.

The PA assigns responsibility to the Jews for all the problems in the world: Wars, conflicts and civil wars are all said to be triggered by Jews. Indeed, the oppression suffered by Jews throughout history is presented as the legitimate response of nations seeking revenge for the injury caused them by the Jews living among them. The creation of the State of Israel is said to have been a European plot, in order to be rid of their Jews and save Europe from the evil of Jewish presence in their countries.

The following are examples of Palestinian demonization:

PA Foreign Ministry: Liberman's land-swap proposal is a "fascist" plot to perpetrate "ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people"
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 27, 2014
“The [PA] Foreign Ministry condemned the ideas of the settler Liberman regarding what he calls the ‘population and land swap,’ calling them racist settler statements coming from the mouth of a gangster of the likes of occupier and exploiter Liberman, who treats the Palestinian issue as if it were an internal Israeli issue, and gives free rein to his expansionist, fascist dreams and aspirations at the expense of another people, whose land he is occupying and whose freedom he is stealing. In a statement issued yesterday [March 26, 2014], the Ministry emphasized that the only things supporting Liberman’s opinion are the exploiting occupation force and the laws of the Libermanian jungle.
The Ministry emphasized that the idea of a land swap was, from its inception, contingent on Israel’s recognition of the State of Palestine according to the 1967 borders, and that in such a case, the two states would be able to agree on an equivalent land swap, of small proportions only, acceptable to both sides. In addition, it [the Ministry] condemned Liberman’s ideas and rejected them completely, considering them clear calls for the increase of the settlement, expansion and Judaization of the Palestinian lands, as well as for the perpetration of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.”

PA daily falsely claims that the Rolling Stones cancelled Tel Aviv concert due to Israel’s “racist discrimination”
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 27, 2014
The Rolling Stones concert is scheduled to take place as planned on June 4, 2014. Tickets are still being sold online.
“The internationally [renowned] rock band, the Rolling Stones, has decided to cancel its performance scheduled for this coming June 4 [2014] in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park, which was expected to draw an estimated 55,000 fans.
The [cancellation] came as part of the [current] trend among many European cultural figures and academics to boycott Israel because of its policy in the occupied territories.
European activists who support a cultural boycott against Israel believe that Israel intended to use this huge concert, which was part of a deal costing over 3 million pounds sterling, as a ‘propaganda tool‘ to improve the Israeli government’s image and clear it of the accusation of racist discrimination.
The concert’s Israeli promoter, Shuki Weiss, responded to the news last Tuesday, saying, ‘I have no words to describe the size of this event!’ Weiss’ response came a few days after he had described the huge, planned concert as a ‘historic event.’”

Note: Weiss’ two quoted statements were taken from a single statement he made when announcing the opposite of what the PA daily claims here-- that the concert would take place.
Arab official: Palestinian issue is the primary issue the Arab nation currently faces
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 19, 2014
The Chairman of the Arab Parliament chose to focus on the Palestinian issue, not current events in Syria, as the "primary issue for the Arab nation" at this time. Israel is presented as a threat not just to Palestinians but to the entire Arab world.
“Chairman of the Arab Parliament (i.e., parliament established under the Arab League) Ahmed Al-Jarwan said that the Palestinian issue is the cardinal and central issue, and the primary issue for the Arab nation and the Islamic nation, until all its [Palestine’s] lands are liberated and its entire people return. In his speech to the 130th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union… he added that the peace required is a just peace that will restore full rights to its owners…
Al-Jarwan added: ‘The occupation is the greatest threat to security and peace in the region, as the women, men, youth and even children of the proud Palestinian nation are being kidnapped in the [West] Bank, murdered with rockets and starved to death under siege in Gaza. So what peace are you talking about, while the Israeli occupier is expanding his settlements?’”

Palestinian official compares Palestinian children`s conditions to conditions in Syria
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 19, 2014
“A member of the Palestinian delegation [to the meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Union], Zuheir Sandouqa, took part in the session of the Committee on Democracy and Human Rights, which was discussing a proposal for a resolution on the role of parliamentarians in the defense of children’s rights…Sandouqa expressed reservations about the proposal, which did not address the condition of the children of Palestine and included no mention of their plight under the occupation – Palestine being the only country still straining under occupation for over 65 years…
He added: ‘Since [the occupation of Palestine], the children of the Palestinian refugees have been living under tragic conditions and very severe living conditions, as [in what] happened to the children of the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps, who were massacred, and as is happening now in the Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria, [where the children] are living in an extremely difficult situation as a result of the events there. This in addition to the present suffering of the Palestinian children in the Palestinian territories, which is no less tragic…’”

Note: Sabra and Shatila are Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. In 1982, during the first Lebanon War, Muslim residents of the camps were massacred by Christian Phalangists. The PA has a longstanding policy of falsely accusing Israel of committing the massacre or actively helping to carry it out. are Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. PA official acknowledges "Jews' excellence," but demonizes Israel as persecutor of Palestinians
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 14, 2014
“The Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Institute of International Studies at Birzeit University organized a lecture on Israel-US relations yesterday [March 13, 2014].
The lecture was given by [PA Roving] Ambassador [for Special Missions] Dr. Afif Safieh. In his lecture, Dr. Safieh addressed the fact that the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) was not an event that ended in 1948, but an event that continues to this day…
[Safieh] noted that, as Jean-Paul Sartre said, the reasons for the Jews’ excellence were Antisemitism and persecution, since these [things] pushed them to work, succeed and excel. In addition, he noted that the Palestinians should benefit from the Jews’ experience, and use the persecution they suffered to achieve social and national unification.”
President of Palestinian college: “Racist” Zionists plan to rule over Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt
Source: Al-Ayyam, Mar. 13, 2014
“On the third day of the Christ at the Checkpoint Conference organized by the Bethlehem Bible College with the participation of an elect group of theologians and Evangelical Christian leaders from around the world, the lecturers demonstrated the reality of life in the Palestinian territories…
Dr. Mitri Raheb, President of the Diyar Consortium and President of the Dar Al-Kalima College, gave a lecture on the Palestinian Church, which was active before any other church in the world…
Raheb added that although Palestine had experienced and been subjected to several occupations between the present occupation and the ancient one, the original Palestinians, Christians and Muslims, had lived side by side…
In addition, he noted that the racist Zionist aspirations began in 1831, with a racist initiative of the Zionist Christians, who wrote lies and racist speeches in which they claimed that Palestine was unpopulated – [claims] which later served as a basis for the Zionist lie, which planned to dominate not just Palestine, but several [other] countries as well, such as Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt.”
Senior Palestinian official: Israelis are "an advanced instrument of evil"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Mar. 12, 2014

PA TV host: On the issue discussed in the media, that Netanyahu failed in his attempt to stir up the media around the so-called arms ship (Iranian shipment of arms to Gaza intercepted by Israel), and so he turned to the option of bloodshed, which explains the number of Martyrs (3 Islamic Jihad terrorists) who fell in 24 hours. In other words, he failed to draw the world's attention, and so resorted to the Israeli occupation's traditional method - killing Palestinians in order to provoke a hurried Palestinian reaction. How do you see this?

Member of Fatah Central Committee Abbas Zaki: Netanyahu went and provoked an uproar, like [when] he drew a nuclear bomb [and said] this is what Iran wants. He failed in the Iranian issue, and tried to improve his situation with the Palestinian issue... These Israelis have no belief, no principles. They are an advanced instrument of evil. They say, the Holocaust, and so on - fine, why are they doing this to us? Therefore, I believe that Allah will gather them so we can kill them. I am informing the murderer of his death.

Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, Mar. 11, 2014

In a message received by Ma’an, the Brigades stated that the [period of] calm has ended, as the occupation continues to kill, Judaize and settle. They emphasized that the blood of the Martyrs (Shahids) will never be forfeited. They called on President Mahmoud Abbas to stand firm and reject the Kerry plan, [and said that] ‘the Palestinian people, with all its groups and factions, stand behind you against any [form of] political extortion by the Western powers.’”

This announcement came during the well-attended national rally, organized by the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Yemen in support of the prisoner [and] leader Marwan Barghouti, and of all the prisoners, male and female, [being held] in the prisons of the occupation…Al-Louh said: ‘…We commemorate the heroic Martyrs (Shahids) of the prisoner movement. We evoke the memory of 205 Martyrs from among the prisoners, including 52 Palestinian prisoners who became Martyrs under the guillotine of intentional medical neglect by the Israelis, 73 prisoners who became Martyrs as a result of barbaric, inhumane and illegal torture in the prisons and detention stations, and 72 prisoners who became Martyrs by [falling victim to] premeditated murder.’ Ambassador Al-Louh said the launch of the campaign [to free] prisoner [and] leader Marwan Barghouti and all the prisoners coincided with the anniversary of the deaths of the heroes of the Savoy operation as Martyrs in 1975.”

Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Mar. 8, 2014
Official PA TV program Special Missions about drugs in Jerusalem.
The program hosted Dr. Husni Awad, a psychology lecturer at Al-Quds Open University.
Dr. Husni Awad: “Since occupying Jerusalem in 1967, Israel has made an effort to distribute drugs and to facilitate their distribution, especially in Jerusalem, and this is a link in a chain [of efforts] to Judaize Jerusalem – in other words, [to gain] control of it.”

Fatah official calls Israel a “criminal, fascist, Nazi occupation”
Source: Official PA TV Live, Feb. 26, 2014
Official PA TV Live broadcast a program under the heading, “What will happen after the negotiations?”
Deputy Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee Jibril Rajoub: “Had Fatah not taken decision-making and the Palestinian national will into its own hands using bullets, it would not have been possible for our cause to change from a refugee cause into a statehood cause. I’m not saying that on April 30 [2014] (i.e., when the negotiations with Israel are scheduled to end), we should pick up rifles and take to the streets, but neither do I rule this out – provided that the struggle be a means, and not an end. Therefore, the most important thing for us to do is… start an internal national dialogue to define our national agenda and our national strategy. In addition to the fact that the Palestinian cause, or Palestine as a state, is now on the international agenda, we have achieved something great and important over [the past] 50 years: We have attained moral supremacy over this criminal, fascist, Nazi occupation."

Terrorist’s father: Israel purposely returned son’s body before daughter’s betrothal “to make the family’s life miserable”
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 25, 2014
Headline: "Martyr (Shahid) Sarhan Sarhan was escorted to burial in the Tulkarem refugee camp."
"Sarhan Burhan Sarhan's father did not expect the occupation authorities to hand over his son's body ten hours before his daughter's betrothal ceremony. He said that six months ago, the occupation authorities erased his son's name twice in a row from the lists of the first and second phases of the release of Martyrs' remains, and this [was done] moments before they [the remains] were handed over to the [other [Martyrs'] families. Later, the Center for the Defence of the Individual organization called him personally and informed him of the decision to hand over his Martyr son Sarhan at 8:30 exactly, yesterday evening. [He noted that the occupation authorities] chose the right time to make the family's life miserable and deprive the family of the joy of their daughter's betrothal, so that [the joy] would be replaced by memories of their son Sarhan's Martyrdom death [when he] was assassinated by occupation forces in the city of Tulkarem on October 4, 2013 [sic] (should be 2003, -Ed.) for his having been responsible for the operation in the Metzer settlement that brought about the death of 6 Israelis.
At the end of the burial ceremonies, Tulkarem District Governor Abdullah Kamil delivered a eulogy and farewell speech on behalf of President Mahmoud Abbas, in which he said: 'We part today from a brave, heroic fighter who fell defending Palestine, its land, its people and the land of Jerusalem.' He declared that the Palestinian leadership, headed by the President [Abbas], has devoted great attention to the matter of returning the Martyrs' remains, and has succeeded in marking many achievements in this area."

He also emphasized to his host, Rafsanjani, the Palestinians’ faith in the continuation of Iran’s support of the Palestinian cause, given its [Iran’s] position as a powerful Islamic axis nation in the region, and described to him the calamities the Palestinian people has been suffering as a result of the aggressive Israeli policy that is supported by the US- specifically, the continuation of settlement [construction], the siege that has been laid on Gaza and the threats to Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
Demonization: Israel attempts to divide Palestinians and attack their cultural identity
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 20, 2014
The official PA daily reported on the visit by Israeli Arab women from the village of I’billin in Israel to the District Governor of Jericho, Jamal Rajoub.
“Several female cultural and social figures from the village of I’billin in the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel) emphasized the unity of the Palestinian people and its adherence to its land, as well as the strength and resolve of the social fabric among its individual members – both Christians and Muslims, and in all parts of the world.
[District Governor of Jericho, Jamal] Rajoub emphasized our nation’s and its leadership’s adherence to their homeland, their rights and their cultural heritage, despite the Israeli occupation authorities’ attempts and actions over the past six decades [aimed] against the national and cultural identity of our people within the 1948 territories…
Poet Amal Awad Radwan, the head of the female delegation, called Palestine a single entity that will not be divided by the occupation’s walls and actions, adding that ‘we are part of this homeland, Palestine, and are living in the ‘prison cell of 1948.’ Despite all the attempts to separate and divide [us], we will remain Palestinians, and we are one nation, united by concerns, hopes, and expectations for a better tomorrow for our people, our nation and Palestine.’”

Antisemitic article: Protocols of the Elders of Zion is true, Jews have "gained world domination"
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, Feb. 11, 2014
From an article by Abd Al-Halim Abu Hajjaj:
"The Jewish Masons have achieved their aims: They have gained world domination through their monopoly of the banking system, their control of the gold [trade], natural and industrial resources, water and food, as well as by destroying the economies of countries [to ensure] that they remain under their control and in need of them - of their grain and money, which their governments take from them as long-term loans with exorbitant compound interest, which they cannot repay...
They have succeeded in creating new states at the expense of stable ones, by partitioning and drawing new international borders, through armed military invasion, the theft of native lands and the expulsion of their residents - as in the case of Palestine and its residents - or through civil wars and the overthrow of corrupt leaders - all this with the aim of keeping the countries in a circle of violence and schism, and in a whirlpool of struggle for power."

Note: The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is an Antisemitic forgery describing how Jews allegedly plan to subjugate the world under Jewish rule. It was published in Russia in 1903 and translated into multiple languages. In 1921, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion was exposed as a false document.

PA daily blames “the Israeli and American forces of evil” for internal fighting in Lebanon
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 8, 2014
“Anyone who goes back to the war (between Fatah al-Islam and the Syrian army) of the Nahr Al Bared refugee camp (near Tripoli, Lebanon) in May of 2007, whose after-effects can still [be felt], and [examines] its goals, will understand that the purpose of that insane war was to liquidate the refugee camp and expel its residents. These aims, however, were not fully achieved. This compelled the Israeli and American forces of evil, as well as the Arabs who follow them, to redo [now] the scenario using old-new means: the Takfir organizations (i.e., those defining other Muslims as unbelievers) falsely claim to want to protect the refugee camps, Jerusalem and the Islamic holy sites, by attacking Hezbollah and Syria…
Yet the refugee camps, the holy sites, Palestine and the Islamic religion have nothing to do with these organizations…
Furthermore, there are additional goals still on the agenda, including the establishment of a US military base in the village of Kleiat near Tripoli, close to the Syrian-Lebanese border, and maintaining the security of Israel.”
