Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Jews/Israelis are evil
Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will. The PA presents Jews as possessing inherently evil traits. Jews are said to be treacherous, corrupt, deceitful and unfaithful by nature. These Jewish “attributes” and traditions are presented as the unchangeable nature of Jews. Forgeries and fiction masquerading as history are used to document and support the libel that Judaism is in essence racist and evil. Jews are said to be planning and executing heinous crimes, including burning Palestinians in ovens, murder, using prisoners for Nazi-like experiments, and more. If unchecked, these crimes constitute a mortal danger, not only to all Muslims and Arabs but to all of humanity.

The PA assigns responsibility to the Jews for all the problems in the world: Wars, conflicts and civil wars are all said to be triggered by Jews. Indeed, the oppression suffered by Jews throughout history is presented as the legitimate response of nations seeking revenge for the injury caused them by the Jews living among them. The creation of the State of Israel is said to have been a European plot, in order to be rid of their Jews and save Europe from the evil of Jewish presence in their countries.

The following are examples of Palestinian demonization:

Abbas’ Advisor: Israel seeks to “eradicate” Palestinian identity and create “an illegal Jewish entity”
Source: WAFA news agency, Nov. 23, 2014
“Mahmoud Al-Habbash, the Supreme Shari’ah Judge and Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs, said that Arabs and Muslims around the globe, especially those with foreign citizenship, must go to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and come together to Jerusalem to support the resolve of its residents. During a political forum held at the embassy of the State of Palestine in Algeria, Al-Habbash said: ‘Our people is now in the last stage of a war of existence and self-coercion against the occupation, which is seeking in any way possible to eradicate our identity, force a Caesarian birth of a Jewish entity and clone an illegal entity at our expense.’… In addition, he emphasized that the occupation – which thinks it has succeeded in winning the geographic war with [its] racist fences and roadblocks and that it will have the last word in the fairy tale of Jewish Jerusalem by taking over the Al-Aqsa Mosque – must be opposed.”

Israel kills innocent Palestinians like Abu Khdeir to frighten Palestinians
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, Nov. 18, 2014
“District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Dr. Laila Ghannam briefed the Indian ambassador about the details of the internal Palestinian situation and the sufferings of our people, caused by the last and longest occupation known to mankind…The District Governor said that the settlements, which desecrate Palestinian land, and the rioting of the settlers, the last [instance] of which was the burning of a mosque in the [West Bank] village of Mughayer, were actions that the world, which purports to be democratic, must stop. In addition, she said that the burning of Muhammad Abu Khdeir and the strangling of [Yussuf] Al-Ramouni, which were perpetrated lately by the settler herds, represented a course of action adopted by the occupation government and its herds to frighten our defenseless people, and emphasized the need to provide international protection for our people.”

Notes: On June 12, 2014, Israeli teens Eyal ‎Yifrach, Gilad Shaar and Naftali Frenkel ‎were kidnapped while hitchhiking in the ‎West Bank. The boys' bodies were found by ‎Israeli security forces near Hebron on June ‎‎30, 2014. They appeared to have been shot ‎to death soon after the abduction. Two days ‎later, Palestinian teen Muhammad Abu ‎Khdeir was kidnapped and murdered in ‎Jerusalem in a revenge attack by Israeli ‎extremists. Following this murder, ‎Palestinians took to the streets of eastern ‎Jerusalem in violent and continuous ‎protests. Prime Minister Benjamin ‎Netanyahu and other Israeli ministers ‎immediately condemned the revenge killing ‎in the strongest terms. Israeli police ‎arrested six Israeli suspects on July 6th; ‎under interrogation, three of the suspects ‎confessed to murdering Khdeir.‎

Israel “was formed from the fabric of colonialism and racist discourse… and creates organized terror against the Palestinian ‘gentiles’”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 12, 2014
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, columnist for the official PA daily:
“Anyone who reexamines the racist laws passed by the 18th and the current 19th Israeli Parliament (Knesset), the religious rulings of the extremist Jewish clerics, and the attacks of deception and incitement mounted by the Israeli prime minister and the members of his government – including [The Jewish Home party chairman Naftali] Bennett, [Construction Minister Uri] Ariel, [Foreign Minister Avigdor] Liberman, [Minister of Internal Security Yitzhak] Aharonovitch, [Minister of Agriculture Yair] Shamir, [Defense Minister Moshe] Yaalon, and those like them – against the Palestinian people... inside the Green Line (i.e., against Israeli Arabs), in coordination with the media platforms funded by the Jewish Zionist tycoons, will understand that the Israeli ethnic cleansing state cannot coexist with any kind of democracy… since it was formed from the fabric of colonialism and racist discourse, is based on ethnic cleansing, and creates organized terror against the Palestinian ‘gentiles.’”
PA daily incites against "rabbis of the secret societies" ‎
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 12, 2014
‎"Our crises are growing from day to day, and dangers surround us on all sides... ‎Despite the fact that elements near and far have united to divide our land and ‎resources between them... the danger posed by Israel remains the greatest and most ‎significant of all, and the first [danger] we must come out against. For the Zionist settler ‎ideology does not seek temporary influence or gains, and does not strive to exploit and ‎exhaust resources, but rather sets the foundations for an eternal hegemony based on ‎the instructions of the 'rabbis' of the secret societies. And all this is in order to take ‎revenge on history and their minority and false persecution complex. These are [our] ‎enemies, and they have a hand in everything that is happening: in the issue of ISIS ‎‎[Islamic State] and its arming, in importing explosives to the Arab lands, in the spread of ‎extremist ideas and the deepening of the doctrinal conflict between Sunnis and ‎Shiites. In addition, they are the ones creating the crises. They are the ones igniting ‎the civil wars. And they are the ones exploiting our troubles to change the ‎characteristics of Palestine or of what remains of Palestine, and of Arab Jerusalem, all ‎the way to the Al-Aqsa Mosque... And it is Al-Aqsa that they are desecrating, Al-Aqsa - ‎not the grave of a Turkish sultan or turbaned foreigner - it is Al-Aqsa that is calling ‎you."‎

PA Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Netanyahu “incited to the murder of Arabs”

Terrorist killer is a “heroic Martyr” and a “patriot” who was responding to “the terrorism of the Israeli state”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 10, 2014
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, columnist for the official PA daily:
“The past three weeks have seen an escalation in the operations (i.e., terror attacks) [carried out by] Palestinian youths, who believe in the justness of their cause and are defending its honor and that of their homeland and their people, in order to restrain the fascist Zionist rampage in Jerusalem. Among these operations was the one carried out by Martyr (Shahid) Ibrahim Al-Akari, 48, last Wednesday [Nov. 5, 2014] in Jerusalem against the settler herds, their officers and soldiers. He used his car as a weapon in response to the terrorism of the Israeli state, and charged at people waiting at the light-rail station in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood (in Jerusalem), killing one of them and injuring dozens of others (sic. – two people were killed)... Hamas and Islamic Jihad tried to claim that the national fighter, the heroic Martyr Ibrahim Al-Akari, belongs to them. But actually, and as his family and relatives have emphasized, he did not belong [to any organization], but only to his nationalism and his people... The heroic Martyr Ibrahim Al-Akari, like most Palestinians, had no need of an organizational heading [to prove] the importance of his belonging to one faction or another, in order to carry out heroic operations (i.e., terror attacks) against the Israeli occupiers... May Allah have mercy on Martyr Al-Akari, and on all the patriots belonging to a faction or working independently, like Ibrahim and his fellows.”

Note: Ibrahim Al-Akari – Hamas terrorist from East Jerusalem who carried out a car terror attack on Nov 5, 2014 at a light-rail station in Jerusalem, killing two and injuring at least 13 others. He was shot and killed by Israeli police officers who arrived on the scene.
Abbas advisor: “The Israeli enemy” has “infested our holy places in Al-Aqsa”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Nov. 7, 2014
Official PA TV News report on the demonstrations in Hebron in support of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
PA Chairman Abbas’ advisor on NGOs and Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein: “This (i.e., demonstrations in support of Al-Aqsa) reflects the setting out to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which the Messenger of Allah called us [to perform.] All the children of the homeland must be present at this clamorous confrontation with the Israeli enemy, which has infested our holy places in Al-Aqsa. For the first time, [the occupation] has entered into the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and is dealing with the Murabitin (those who carry out Ribat (religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) there with bullets and tear gas.”

Note: In a Hadith, Muhammad is said to have called Muslims to “set out” for three mosques – Al-Masjid al-Haram (in Mecca), Al-Masjid Al-Nabaw? (in Medina) and Al-Aqsa.

PA daily op-ed: Israel plans to “take over the Arab land and all it contains” with the approval of the US
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 30, 2014
Op-ed by Hafez Al-Barghouti, regular columnist for Al-Hayat Al-Jadida
“Neither Western nor Arab media [outlets] elaborated on the aggression against Gaza [to the extent they did] on Kobani. The issue here is not a conflict between Arabs and Kurds, but between Arabs and Arabs, for the Syrian Kurds have no intention of seceding from the destroyed Syrian motherland. But Kobani will introduce separatism to the Kurds in Syria through the arrival of the Iraqi Kurds, and the US’s plan to dismantle Syria and Iraq is still relevant… Libya will be the next stop of American ‘IS-ization’ – Washington will distract us, as usual, with one military arena in order to open another – the main thing being that Arab bloodshed never cease. America’s final aim is to transfer the fighting and civil wars from one country to another, until the [Arab] Nation degenerates without remedy… At the moment, Israel, Turkey and Iran, with the US’s explicit approval, are planning to take over the Arab land and all it contains.”
Governor of Jericho: Israel is just one of many “invaders” who will [eventually] leave
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, Oct. 30, 2014
“District Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley Majed Al-Fatiani said that all the invaders and travelers through the land of Palestine, no matter how arrogant and conceited they may be, will [eventually] leave, for Palestine’s people has been on its land for thousands of years, and is armed with the willpower to stand resolute and remain on its land. [Al-Fatiani] made these statements during a meeting with a delegation of women from the Orthodox club in the village of Ibelin this afternoon at the district seat in downtown Jericho… District Governor Al-Fatiani also said that the Palestinian people is one nation – whether on its land and the land of its ancestors in Jericho, Haifa, Nazareth, Jenin, Rafah or Jerusalem, or in the countries of the diaspora, to where it was forced to flee and emigrate by the occupation authorities.”
Fatah: “Netanyahu government is perpetrating the most heinous forms of genocide” and “is the real face of organized international terrorism”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 23, 2014
“Fatah spokesman Osama Al-Qawasmi said that the extremist right-wing Netanyahu government is perpetrating the most heinous forms of genocide, ethnic cleansing and the establishment of an apartheid regime [discriminating] against the Palestinians, whether in the occupied West Bank – in Jerusalem in particular – or in the Gaza Strip, which suffered aggression during which Israel killed and wounded over 13,000 citizens, most of them children, women and elderly.
Al-Qawasmi emphasized that the Netanyahu government is the real face of organized international terrorism, and that its barbaric actions against the Palestinians and the holy places, in particular the Al-Aqsa Mosque, provide inspiration and encouragement for the terrorist way of thinking in the world, and ignite religious war in the region and in the world at large.”
Abbas’ advisor warns that Israel may be planning a massacre at Al-Aqsa Mosque or to attack its buildings
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 20, 2014
“At a press conference attended by Jordanian MP Dr. Muhammad Al-Dawaymeh, Attorney Ahmed Al-Ruweidi, the PA President's Office’s advisor on Jerusalem Affairs, warned that Israel may perpetrate a massacre in the Al-Aqsa Mosque or attack its buildings, as an excuse to carry out the plan to divide it according to areas… Al-Ruweidi emphasized that the events of the past two weeks at the Al-Aqsa Mosque indicate that Israel is gradually implementing a planned scheme decided on by the Israeli government – in particular, by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – against the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Al-Ruweidi expects the occupation to perpetrate a great crime at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, following which the Mosque will be divided according to areas, as happened at the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., Cave of the Patriarchs) in Hebron, where the occupation exploited the massacre (i.e., when an Israeli extremist killed 29 worshippers at the mosque in 1994) that had occurred in order to divide it according to space. In addition, Al-Ruweidi addressed the attempt to inflame the Al-Aqsa Mosque premises by firing rubber-coated bullets and tear gas at it, in an attempt to reenact the burning of the Mosque in 1969, or to carry out a massacre in its plazas, after which the plan to divide it according to areas would be implemented.”

Abbas’ advisor: Gaza war was “genocide” and Palestinians are being “annihilated”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Oct. 10, 2014
Official PA TV broadcast the Friday sermon from Yasser Arafat’s mausoleum in Ramallah. The sermon was delivered by Mahmoud Al-Habbash, the Supreme Shari’ah Judge and Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs. Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki was in the audience.
Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “Is the Palestinian people not more worthy of aid [than the victims of Islamic State]? Is it not more worthy of deliverance and protection? The nation that is being annihilated, that is being subjected to genocide – and then they [Israel] are angry with the President [Mahmoud Abbas] for having described what happened in Gaza as genocide. What should we call it? What did the occupation do in Gaza? Crack jokes, perhaps? Go on a hike? Pat the shoulders of the children who died, and then they died? What do you call what happened? What should we call it, if not war crimes and genocide? What should we call it, if not Holocaust?”

Official PA TV program The State of Politics hosted Deputy Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee Jibril Rajoub:
“Therefore, the issue on our agenda is the construction of a national front and a popular resistance, for we will reach a decision – we have already reached a decision, but we will [also] implement it – to define our relations with this occupation [as] relations with an enemy, not relations with a friend or neighbor. The issue is closed and all relations with the Israelis have ended.”
