Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Jews/Israelis are evil
Demonization of Jews/Israelis
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will. The PA presents Jews as possessing inherently evil traits. Jews are said to be treacherous, corrupt, deceitful and unfaithful by nature. These Jewish “attributes” and traditions are presented as the unchangeable nature of Jews. Forgeries and fiction masquerading as history are used to document and support the libel that Judaism is in essence racist and evil. Jews are said to be planning and executing heinous crimes, including burning Palestinians in ovens, murder, using prisoners for Nazi-like experiments, and more. If unchecked, these crimes constitute a mortal danger, not only to all Muslims and Arabs but to all of humanity.

The PA assigns responsibility to the Jews for all the problems in the world: Wars, conflicts and civil wars are all said to be triggered by Jews. Indeed, the oppression suffered by Jews throughout history is presented as the legitimate response of nations seeking revenge for the injury caused them by the Jews living among them. The creation of the State of Israel is said to have been a European plot, in order to be rid of their Jews and save Europe from the evil of Jewish presence in their countries.

The following are examples of Palestinian demonization:

Fatah official claims Israel's warnings to civilians to evacuate are "barbaric" and "a preparation for genocide"
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 17, 2014
Headline: "Al-Aloul: 'The occupation's attempts to expel citizens from the border areas is a plan for a 'new Nakba'"
"[Fatah Commissioner for Mobilization and Organization and] Fatah Central Committee member Mahmoud Al-Aloul warned against the occupation government's plan to expel hundreds of thousands of citizens in the Gaza Strip, and said this plan constitutes a 'new Nakba (i.e., 'catastrophe,' Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel)' against our Palestinian people.
In an interview for the Mawtini radio station yesterday [July 16, 2014], Al-Aloul said that the occupation government is continuing to step up its crimes against the Palestinian people, the most barbaric being the sending of messages to residents of entire neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip, ordering them to evacuate their homes in order to destroy them. The Commissioner of the [Fatah] Mobilization and Organization [Commission] said that the occupation government is seeking to carry out a plan to expel a larger number of Gaza Strip residents, and to repeat the expulsion it has been carrying out against the Palestinian people from the Nakba to this day. In addition, he called on the international community to assume its responsibilities regarding these crimes, and to demand accountability from the occupation government for its crimes.
Al-Aloul emphasized that the expulsion of [such] a large number of Palestinians is a preparation for genocide and barbaric crimes to be perpetrated by the extremist occupation government. He emphasized that it is important that our people be resolute in the face of these contemptible crimes, and adhere to its basic national principles."

Official PA daily: Netanyahu "invented" a kidnapping "story" out of a "crazed ambition" to prevent a Palestinian state
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 16, 2014
Op-ed by Yahya Rabah, columnist for the ‎official PA daily and a member of the ‎Fatah Leadership Committee in Gaza
‎     “Israel, which embarked on this war over a ‎month ago – [this war] which culminated ‎in a bloody attack in Gaza ten days ago – ‎had been negotiating with the PLO, and ‎these negotiations were being conducted ‎with the mutual consent of both sides and ‎under the patronage of Israel’s greatest ‎ally, the US…‎
But suddenly, Netanyahu overturned the ‎table, torpedoed the negotiations, and ‎invented, together with his [security] ‎forces, a vague story – the kidnapping and ‎murder of the three Israeli youths – and ‎Israel hastily and madly initiated a war that ‎had been planned [from the start].‎
Why? Why torpedo the negotiations? Why ‎this frenzied and bloody attack? ...‎
Netanyahu ‎wants to circumvent the idea of the ‎Palestinian state and remove from ‎discussion the section on the [Palestinian] ‎state. Are he, his army and his state ‎capable of realizing this crazed ambition? ‎I say to you: No, a thousand times no, ‎because Israel – with whom we have ‎chosen [the path of] peace and ‎negotiations – knows that there is always ‎another option! This is what Israel’s ‎founding leaders knew, and this is what ‎‎[today’s] Israeli leaders know, despite their ‎racist madness – and Israel’s allies know it ‎‎[too].‎
There is always another option: the option ‎of violent struggle, the armed struggle. ‎And this is a legitimate option for a people ‎under occupation. We, the Palestinians, ‎have been among the most prominent ‎symbols [of armed struggle] in the world."‎

Official PA daily libel: Israeli "Holocaust" deliberately targets children
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 15, 2014
Headline: “Israel’s war – hunting the ‎children of Gaza”‎
‎“Children have become the fuel for ‎Israel’s Holocaust and war against Gaza. ‎They are now the largest balance in what ‎the Israeli army calls the ‘target bank’ of ‎the fighter planes in the Gaza Strip… In ‎Gaza, children have become a target ‎hunted by the Israeli warplanes.”‎

Director of special needs committee on PA TV: Israel intentionally cripples people, "wants the Palestinian people to be crushed"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, July 15, 2014
Official PA TV program Palestine This ‎Morning hosted Salah Al-Din Samaro, a ‎member of the directorial committee of ‎Without Borders, an association for people ‎with special needs.‎
Member of the directorial committee of ‎Without Borders Salah Al-Din Samaro: ‎‎“Each time they [the Israelis] hit a person ‎in the knee, hand or back – most of the ‎injuries today are to the lower back – [it is] ‎in order to cripple the person.‎‏ ‏And Israel – ‎to the best of my knowledge – wants us, ‎the Palestinian people, to be one of five ‎things: Martyrs (Shahids) in graves, ‎prisoners, ignoramuses, collaborators, or ‎cripples with walking sticks – that is Israel. ‎That is how it wants the Palestinian ‎people to be crushed.”‎

Official PA daily: Kidnapping of 3 teens "fell into Netanyahu’s hands like a ripe ‎fruit‎," can only have been an Israeli "plot"
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 14, 2014
Op-ed by Mahmoud Abu Al-Haija, editor in ‎chief of Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, the official PA ‎daily
‎“The [Arab] satellite channels are ‎intentionally ignoring the question of the ‎‎[Israeli] benefit of the operation that led to ‎this form of aggression, which crosses all ‎boundaries of barbarity. I am referring to ‎the kidnapping and murder of the three ‎settlers (i.e., three Israeli teens), ‎the planners and perpetrators of which ‎have made no statement explaining the ‎aim [of their actions] or the reasons for ‎carrying them out as part of a defined ‎framework.‎
Today, it is perfectly clear that this was not ‎an operation planned and executed ‎recklessly, without any political aim. This operation fell into ‎Netanyahu’s hands like a ripe fruit, which ‎he can bite into to his heart’s content, ‎satisfying his intense desire to strike at the ‎Palestinian national reconciliation, restore ‎the situation in Gaza to its previous state, ‎and prevent the continuation of the ‎international isolation that was nearly ‎imposed on him in the wake of the ‎successes and victories of Palestinian ‎political and diplomatic activity...
Prior to this operation, Israel was in a ‎severe crisis, but today, it is emerging from ‎its crisis in the [only] way it knows – ‎‎[through] an aggressive, malicious and ‎indecent operation, which has so far met ‎with no real international discouragement. ‎
‎[Furthermore, the fact that] this operation ‎‎[the kidnapping] was [carried out] without ‎any political discussion (i.e., planning) ‎indicates that it was nothing more than a ‎plot, and history will no doubt reveal those ‎who devised and planned it.”‎

PA leader Jibril Rajoub: Israel is carrying out a "mass extermination [in Gaza] as the Nazis did in Europe in the 1940s"
Source: Awdah independent Palestinian TV channel, July 14, 2014

Deputy Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee Jibril Rajoub: "Never before this assault - not in 2012, not in 2008 and not in all our history - did the occupation have the courage to carry out mass extermination as the Nazis did in Europe in the 1940s, while the world remains silent - except for a few voices here and there - and our Arab home front is paralyzed..."
Awdah TV host: "In what ways can the Arab response - if we can call it that - be strengthened, while they are saying in Israel, 'what is happening in Gaza
is one percent of what is happening in Syria and Iraq and Libya'?"
Deputy Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee Jibril Rajoub: "Disgraceful, those are despicable words, despicable as they [the Israelis] are. [Arab civil wars] are not their concern and not mine. Let it [Israel] also say that it is one percent of what Hitler did. Fine? Let it also say so. Let it admit that it is doing to the Palestinians - sorry for the expression - what Hitler did to them [the Jews]."

Official PA daily: "Zionist ethnic cleansing state... is re-‎enacting the Holocaust against the Arab ‎Palestinian people"
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 13, 2014
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, columnist ‎for official PA daily and former advisor to ‎former PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad ‎on national affairs
‎“The crazy Israeli war against the southern ‎districts (i.e., the Gaza Strip), has once ‎again revealed the bleeding face of the ‎Zionist ethnic cleansing state, which is re-‎enacting the Holocaust against the Arab ‎Palestinian people.”‎

Official PA daily: Israel perpetrates "dozens of massacres and Holocausts ‎against our people‎," in accordance with vow to "burn every Palestinian child"
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 13, 2014
Op-ed by Fatah Revolutionary Council ‎member Bakr Abu Bakr, regular columnist ‎for official PA daily
‎“The Palestinian people, including all its ‎factions, are taking a stand against the ‎escalating Zionist aggression, which ‎began when the Israeli regime took ‎advantage of the disappearance and later ‎killing of the three settlers (i.e., kidnapping ‎and murder of three Israeli teens). The ‎Israeli government initiated a campaign of ‎racist incitement and sedition…‎
The barbaric Martyrdom (Shahada) of the ‎youth Muhammad Abu Khdeir forcefully ‎evoked the meanings of oppression linked ‎to the ‘burning’, which is annually celebrated (the word in Arabic, meaning "celebrate, praise") by the Israelis in what they ‎call ‘Holocaust’ [Remembrance Day], ‎which was perpetrated against the Jews of ‎Europe… and here ‎they are, performing the same act, with ‎dozens of massacres and Holocausts ‎against our people in Palestine...
The Martyrdom of the beautiful boy has ‎burned away the ‘innocent,’ gentle and ‎humane image which Netanyahu has ‎tried to assume…‎
The ‘innocent’ Netanyahu is the one ‎sending his ‘innocent’ warplanes to kill ‎the Palestinian ‘monsters’ – women and ‎children – in accordance with what [former ‎Israeli Prime Minister Ariel] Sharon once ‎said and carried out personally: ‘I swear I ‎will burn every Palestinian child that is ‎born in this region. The Palestinian ‎woman and the Palestinian child are more ‎dangerous than the man, because the ‎presence of the Palestinian child means ‎that generations will continue to exist.’”‎

Fatah official: Israel is a "savage" that "has crossed all boundaries of human [behavior]"
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 12, 2014
Q: “[As of now, Israel’s Operation ‎Protective Edge has claimed] over 120 ‎Martyrs (Shahids) and wounded 900, and ‎at the official level, Fatah is still adhering ‎to the negotiations. Is that really the ‎movement’s position?”‎
Fatah Central Committee member Abbas ‎Zaki: “First of all, what is happening in ‎Gaza is a very large operation. The enemy ‎has crossed all boundaries of human ‎‎[behavior], and I don’t believe Fatah is ‎relying on negotiations with this ‎savage…”‎
Q: “What is Fatah’s official position on the ‎Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades (Fatah’s military ‎wing), who are launching rockets at the ‎Israeli settlements? There are figures ‎according to which Fatah in Gaza has ‎launched over 200 rockets.”‎
Abbas Zaki: “Our eyes are now turned ‎toward Gaza, and the unity of the factions ‎is very necessary... No one in Gaza will ‎look on from the sidelines and sit by idly. ‎Gaza is at war and is living under fire, and ‎whoever disavows‎ the resistance is no ‎member of Fatah‎...
We Palestinians have an international ‎decision regarding our right to defend ‎ourselves, even by means of armed ‎struggle, but we won’t use the [armed] ‎struggle unless it suits the situation and ‎helps and exacts a high price from the ‎enemy during the campaign. ‎
We don’t want to say we are against it.
‎Yasser Arafat went to the UN and told ‎them, ‘an olive branch in one hand and a ‎rifle in the other.’ He didn’t say ‘just a rifle;’ ‎but also the green branch... Mahmoud Abbas is ‎experienced. We don’t want words, we ‎want deeds."

Fatah official: Hamas rockets do not constitute terrorism, Israel's response is an attempt to break Fatah-Hamas unity
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 12, 2014
‎“Abd‎ Al-Rahman Hamad, a member of ‎Fatah’s Leadership Committee in the ‎southern districts (i.e., Gaza) said that ‎resisting the occupation is a legitimate ‎right guaranteed by all international ‎conventions. He also noted that ‎exercising this right does not constitute ‎terrorism, as the occupation is trying to ‎make it seem, but rather, resistance and ‎struggle in defense of the land and for the ‎realization of the legitimate demands for ‎freedom and independence. ‎
Hamad emphasized, in a statement to the ‎press published by Fatah’s Culture and ‎Information Department, that the ‎occupation is trying, through its ‎aggression, to bring about the annulment ‎of the Palestinian reconciliation, to destroy ‎the National Consensus Government and ‎break our people’s morale…‎
He added: ‘the occupation has initiated ‎aggression against our people, and there ‎is no option but to respond to all its crimes. ‎Today, the Israeli occupation is afraid of ‎the resistance’s unity, its adherence on ‎the ground and strong response while ‎facing the arsenal of the occupation’s ‎terrorist war machine. This is an ‎achievement to the credit of all the wings ‎and factions of the resistance on the ‎ground.”‎

Official PA daily: "Resistance, in all its forms, is legitimate" and should not be called "terrorism" - Israel is the "source of terrorism"
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 12, 2014
Op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, columnist ‎for official PA daily and former advisor to ‎former PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad ‎on national affairs
‎     “Describing the Palestinian resistance as ‎‎‘terrorism’ is irrational; it contradicts UN ‎conventions and regulations and the right ‎of [all] nations to self-determination and ‎liberation from the yoke of occupation and ‎aggression.‎
Therefore, the whole world – especially ‎the West, and specifically the US – must ‎stop describing the [Palestinian] ‎resistance as terrorism, since the origin ‎and source of terrorism is the Israeli ‎occupation and aggression – the ‎settlement, Judaization and expropriation ‎of lands; the demolishing of homes; the ‎arrest of innocent children, women and ‎elderly; the revoking of ID cards; the ‎construction of the racist separation fence; ‎the isolation, dangerous violations, ‎invasion of peaceful areas and so forth.‎
This is terrorism, and this is the factor that ‎strengthens the racist and fascist Israeli ‎tendencies. It places a large question ‎mark over all the media outlets, media ‎platforms and political leaderships of ‎those countries that use the term ‎‎‘terrorism’ to describe the Palestinian ‎resistance, because the resistance, in all ‎its forms, is legitimate, and is consistent ‎with the spirit of international law.”‎

Official PA daily: Jews' God demands "Passover Matzah made from the blood of our children," as stated in Protocols of the Elders of Zion
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 12, 2014
Op-ed by Yahya Rabah, columnist for official PA daily and member of the Fatah Leadership Committee in Gaza
"Under the fire that has been burning against us for a month now, our national unity has endured in an exceptional manner. Our unity, which extends from the northern tip of the Galilee (northern Israel) to the southern tip of the Negev (southern Israel); from Gaza to the West Bank and Jerusalem, from the farthest place of exile to the homeland...
We are one nation, one cause, one entity, one hope and one right, and we will not leave this land, for it is our land. All tales and myths can go to hell; Jerusalem will remain our capital, even if they use their nuclear bombs against us...
We have nothing with which to speak to these Israeli murderers, who go too far with their crimes, and whose God, 'Yahweh', is called the Lord of Hosts and demands, according to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, that they offer him sacrifices during Passover in the form of Matzah made from the blood of our children. We have nothing with which to open a dialogue but these rockets. Have all the Arab, Islamic and Palestinian peace initiatives managed to draw even a single voice to engage in dialogue with us?"

Fatah official accuses Israel of refusing Palestinian prisoners shelter from rockets in plot "to wipe out and exterminate the ‎prisoners‎" - forgetting that rockets are fired by Palestinians
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 10, 2014
‎“Deputy [PA] Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs ‎Ziad Abu Ein emphasized during a ‎meeting with several foreign [news] ‎agencies that the vast majority of ‎‎[Palestinian] prisoners are held in the ‎Ketziot, Nafha, Eshel, Ohalei Keidar and ‎Shikma prisons, and that in view of the ‎current campaign (i.e., Operation ‎Protective Edge), they are now exposed to ‎great danger and death. ‎
Abu Ein noted that there are no suitable ‎shelters to guarantee the protection of the ‎Palestinian prisoners, and that they [the ‎shelters] are restricted, in a racist fashion, ‎solely for the [prison] administration and ‎prison guards, which constitutes a war ‎crime according to international law, for ‎which the Israeli government is ‎responsible, especially as the rockets are ‎falling in this region one after the other. ‎
Abu Ein disclosed that Israel may be ‎doing this intentionally in order to wipe out ‎and exterminate the prisoners, and ‎demanded that they be provided ‎protection quickly, either through their ‎transfer to safer areas or through their ‎immediate release.”‎

Abbas: Israel commits "genocide... Shall we recall Auschwitz and Deir ‎Yassin‎?"
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 10, 2014
Excerpt from PA Chairman Mahmoud ‎Abbas’ speech at the meeting of the PA ‎leadership in Ramallah, July 9, 2014, two ‎days after Israel began Operation ‎Protective Edge in response to Hamas and ‎other Gaza terror organizations firing ‎hundreds of rockets into Israel. In the ‎operation, Israel targeted and bombed the ‎terror infrastructure in Gaza.
‎     “The war has now shifted to Gaza and the ‎other Palestinian territories – for this war is ‎not [just] against Hamas or any other ‎faction, but against the Palestinian ‎people...
For our part, we know that Israel is not just ‎protecting itself, but also its settlement ‎‎[project], which is its main initiative…‎
As you heard yesterday, the Hamad, ‎Kaware and Manasrah families each had ‎seven of their family members killed. Did ‎these families launch rockets? Did the ‎young children and the elderly [fire ‎rockets], making it necessary to hit the ‎home, with all its inhabitants? What is this ‎crime called? How will we define it ‎according to international law? When an ‎entire family is killed, is this collective ‎punishment? This is called genocide. ‎
What can we say about the boy ‎‎[Muhammad] Abu Khdeir? Shall we recall ‎Auschwitz and Deir Yassin? A child who ‎is tortured and then murdered, and whose ‎cousin is tortured to death (sic, the youth ‎was beaten, but was not in mortal danger), ‎but was saved by Allah – I saw him with ‎wounds on his face, legs and hands. ‎What is the purpose of these actions? Do ‎we want to live in coexistence in two ‎neighboring states? Will this behavior ‎lead us to two states?"‎

‎“Crime has become, for the occupiers, a ‎way of life. There is no difference between ‎those who bomb and kill by shooting, and ‎those who burn an innocent human being ‎and then express sorrow in order to throw ‎dust in the eyes of the enraged world. The boys' bodies were found by Israeli security forces near Hebron on June 30, 2014. They appeared to have been shot to death soon after the abduction. Two days later, Palestinian teen Muhammad Abu Khdeir was kidnapped and burned to death in Jerusalem in a revenge attack by Israeli extremists. Official PA daily: Hitler is "applauding" Netanyahu, whose actions prove that Hitler's "death was not in vain"

‎“The Israeli propaganda machine cannot ‎falsify the facts and continue to quote the ‎nonsense the fanatic Netanyahu keeps ‎repeating, and which is [in turn] repeated ‎by the new Zionist chorus, [both] in the ‎White House and outside it. An example ‎of this is the hollow statements he made a ‎few days ago, when he said that they – ‎that is, the Israelis – love life, whereas we ‎love death…‎
Whoever loves life, wishes it for everyone, ‎and does not differentiate between one ‎life and another, [as though] his life were ‎precious and that of his fellow [man], ‎worthless. He [Netanyahu] thereby ‎confirms the Talmud’s teachings, ‎‎[according to which] killing others – the ‎insects (gentiles) [parenthesis in source] – ‎is a good thing.‎
Netanyahu’s terrible racism cannot but be ‎mixed with inhumanity, which is passed ‎down as the ideology, culture and values ‎of excluding others – [values] which ‎maintain the imagined ‘purity of race’… ‎This has caused Hitler’s Nazism – which ‎he used against all his enemies, ‎including the European Jews – to score a ‎stunning victory today through ‎Netanyahu’s actions, for which Hitler is ‎applauding him joyously, since [they ‎prove that] his death was not in vain. Abbas advisor: Murder of Palestinian youth is "uglier than the crimes of the Nazis"

The world must not be ‎satisfied with condemning the crime, but ‎must act to punish its perpetrators. The ‎deterrent and just punishment is not merely ‎jail or imprisonment, but execution.
