| Libels |
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will.
Throughout history bogus conspiracy accusations have been used to incite hatred, violence, and mass murder. The myriad conspiracy libels concerning Israel, Israelis and Jews are an integral part of the Palestinian Authority’s ongoing hate promotion. PA libels claim that Israel conspires to infect Palestinians with AIDS, spread drug addiction, conspired and successfully murdered Arafat, and more. The PA’s goal has been to inculcate hatred to the degree that fighting and murdering Jews and Israelis will be glorified as heroic self-defense. |

| Libel: Israel to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque |
Both Fatah and Hamas have generated and sustained religious hatred by disseminating the libel that Israel is attempting to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque. With close to 100% of Palestinians identifying themselves as believing Muslims, this claim is highly
inflammatory and is often combined with the call to “defend Al-Aqsa” from the Jews. The Al-Aqsa libel includes numerous fabrications: Israel was behind a mosque fire in 1969; Israel is currently digging under the mosque in order to topple it; Israel plans to replace it with a new Temple; Israel is preparing a missile attack on the mosque, and more. This libel has been actively promoted since 1998.
This Hamas TV cartoon video depicts demonic Jews digging under the mosque in an attempt to topple it.
The following are more examples of the Al-Aqsa libel: |

Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 25, 2012
|
“In a Friday sermon delivered yesterday at the Al-Zamalek Mosque in Cairo, Secretary of the Supreme Islamic Council of Jerusalem Tayseer Rajab Al-Tamimi expressed his appreciation for Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi’s support for our people during the cruel Israeli attack on Gaza (i.e., Israel’s Pillar of Defense operation that aimed at destroying the terror infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, November 2012).
He warned of an upcoming Israeli attack against the holy city (i.e., Jerusalem) and the Al-Aqsa Mosque [aimed at] carrying out plans to destroy it and build the alleged Temple in its place, before the upcoming Israeli elections. He said: ‘The oppressive occupation, and its senior statesmen headed by Netanyahu, is determined to carry out every aggressive act to gain popularity among the religious parties and win votes of the radical Jewish right, after their utter defeat and the total failure of their attack on Gaza.”

Radio Voice of Palestine (Fatah), Oct. 26, 2012

From a Friday sermon by Salah Abu-Farha, Mufti of Jenin broadcast on Voice of Palestine, official PA radio:
“Eid Al-Adha (the Festival of Sacrifice) has come, and the holy places of Islam and Christianity are still being defiled by Zionist thieves and settler packs – the same Israeli occupation forces who dig under our holy Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to destroy it and build their alleged Temple. The Al-Aqsa Mosque is in grave danger because of these thieves. Our people in Jerusalem have bestowed the keys to Jerusalem on you, Mr. President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, and I beseech most exalted Allah that He help you as their trustee and as guardian of the holy places… Oh Allah, guard the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Spread your protection over it, and watch over it. Allah, cleanse it from the contamination of hostile Jews.”

Jerusalem Affairs Minister accuses Israel of “invasions of Al-Aqsa [Mosque]”
|
|
Source:
Palestinian TV (Fatah), Oct. 19, 2012

PA TV program Good morning Jerusalem interviews Adnan Al-Husseini, Minister for Jerusalem Affairs and Jerusalem District Governor:
Adnan Al-Husseini: “It cannot be that Jerusalem will someday be part of the State of Israel. Every inch of Jerusalem is always speaking the Arabic-Palestinian-Islamic-Christian language. The resolve of the residents of Jerusalem and their struggle against all the oppressive, settling and colonizing acts, prove this… The invasions of Al-Aqsa, for example, what do they prove? In other words, why do they want to drag us into a religious war?”

Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem: Israel's goal is to "build the alleged Temple on the ruins of Al-Aqsa Mosque"
|
|
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 20, 2012
|
"The Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places denounced yesterday the 'invasion of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremists and settlers dressed as priests of the alleged Temple, and conducting Talmudic ceremonies in the mosque's plazas...' The Council declared that through all these violations, 'Israel' is trying to achieve its desired goal: To build the alleged Temple on the ruins of the Al-Aqsa Mosque... The Council declared that Jerusalem today is very different from the Islamic and Christian Jerusalem, since acts of Judaization, including demolition, destruction, and banishment, have made the occupied city into something different, [something] adapted to the Jews' extremist goals, and it (the Council) warned that the these programs' crowning achievement will be the destruction of Al-Aqsa and the building of the alleged Temple on its ruins."

Israel continues “Judaization” in Jerusalem “to fulfill its dream: to build the alleged Temple… on the ruins of the Al-Aqsa Mosque”

"Yesterday, the Israeli Antiquities Authority workers continued the excavations in the area of the Umayyad Palaces, near the northern entrance to Silwan, to the south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque…
The workers set up signs along the path being constructed in order to mark what they claim is a 'biblical path to the Temple ritual baths'. The signs talk about first and second 'Temple' periods and their walls. New archaeological finds have also been placed in the area, which were presented as antiquities from the period of the alleged Temple…Sheikh Yusuf Ida'is, President of the Supreme Islamic Court, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Islamic Law warned that the occupation authorities continue to implement their Judaization plans against the holy city and the Islamic and Christian holy sites, and especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque. He said that the ongoing excavations in the area of the Umayyad Palaces, along with changing original Arabic names into Hebrew names, aim to implant a false Jewish history, in an unsuccessful attempt of the occupation to prove that it has a history in this city. Ida'is stated that Jerusalem will continue to rebel against Judaization. He said that Jerusalem will remain the capital of Palestine, and that the Jews have no right to it… The Islamic-Christian Council for Support of Jerusalem and the Holy Places yesterday condemned continuing Judaization initiatives and excavations in the area of the Umayyad Palaces and the Silwan neighborhood. It stressed that 'Israel' continues to falsify reality at Noble Sanctuary of Jerusalem (i.e., the Temple Mount) and in occupied Jerusalem generally, in order to fulfill its dream: to build the alleged Temple and the City of David on the ruins of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Islamic history in general. Occupation forces are actively implanting an invented Jewish history in these areas, in order to prove its right to the Noble Sanctuary (i.e., the Temple Mount)."

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas:
"'[The] purpose is to achieve its black goals: Destroying the Al-Aqsa Mosque, building the 'alleged Temple,' taking over the Muslim and Christian holy sites, and destroying its [Jerusalem's] institutions in order to empty it, uproot its residents, and continue its occupation and Judaization.'
Abbas' statement also said that all of Israel's archeological digs and tunnels... will not change the reality of the city... and will not create a [Jewish] right based on fantasy and legends. The statement ended... 'there will be no peace, security, or stability unless the occupation [Israel], its settlements and settlers will be evacuated from our holy city and the eternal capital of our state.'"
