Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will.
Throughout history bogus conspiracy accusations have been used to incite hatred, violence, and mass murder. The myriad conspiracy libels concerning Israel, Israelis and Jews are an integral part of the Palestinian Authority’s ongoing hate promotion. PA libels claim that Israel conspires to infect Palestinians with AIDS, spread drug addiction, conspired and successfully murdered Arafat, and more. The PA’s goal has been to inculcate hatred to the degree that fighting and murdering Jews and Israelis will be glorified as heroic self-defense. |

| Libel: Israel to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque |
Both Fatah and Hamas have generated and sustained religious hatred by disseminating the libel that Israel is attempting to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque. With close to 100% of Palestinians identifying themselves as believing Muslims, this claim is highly
inflammatory and is often combined with the call to “defend Al-Aqsa” from the Jews. The Al-Aqsa libel includes numerous fabrications: Israel was behind a mosque fire in 1969; Israel is currently digging under the mosque in order to topple it; Israel plans to replace it with a new Temple; Israel is preparing a missile attack on the mosque, and more. This libel has been actively promoted since 1998.

Fatah spokesman Ahmed Asaf said, in a press release yesterday of the Commission of Information and Culture: 'We view these laws, and the Israeli activity against Al-Aqsa and occupied Jerusalem, as blatant aggression, which we will not accept in silence.' Asaf stressed: 'The occupation government alone is responsible for the consequences of what is being done today against Al-Aqsa. The world must not remain silent at these crimes, which will push the entire region into a cycle of violence whose results no one can predict.' Al-Tafakji: "At one of the conferences, a person presented me [with a question]… 'Why do you not permit the Jews to build a synagogue (on the Temple Mount) in between the Dome of the Rock and the Huta Gate, in other words, in available space?'… Ten years later I came back to that person, who is from the Saudi Kingdom, and he asked me the same question. I told him, 'The matter that you spoke to me about, is already quite outdated, because today Israel does not want to build on (an empty space of) the Al-Aqsa plaza; it wants to build the Israeli synagogue or the Israeli Temple in place of the Dome of the Rock."

Al-Habbash: "The Arabs and Muslims, all of them… are invited to come to Jerusalem, to come to Al-Aqsa [Mosque], in order to tell the whole world: This mosque is ours; we will not abandon it, nor will we abandon the Palestinian people in its struggle [against] the schemes to harm the Al-Aqsa Mosque. In its struggle against the schemes and the plans, which aim to alter the landmarks of Jerusalem and the landmarks of the Al-Aqsa Mosque… Israel does not want the Muslims and the Arabs in Jerusalem. Are we acceding to what it wants? Are we acceding to its [Israel’s] desire, to separate Jerusalem from its owners? The owners of Jerusalem are all the Muslims and all the Christians in the east and the west of the country. Jerusalem is today in great danger… A few days ago we heard some nonsense that has no legal or religious value. It was said by one of the Israeli MPs who wants to propose a law to divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque between Muslims and Jews. Simply and firmly [I say] – this is a recipe for blood, fire, and war… No one can imagine that a single centimeter of the Al-Aqsa Mosque will belong to non-Muslims, not even a single millimeter, not even a breath in the Al-Aqsa Mosque belongs to someone who is not Muslim… These calls and statements are a great danger. The Al-Aqsa Mosque is in danger. These [MPs] are trying to claim a false right to this mosque for themselves … Anyone who wants to harm the Al-Aqsa Mosque will burn himself and destroy himself… These worthless calls, uttered by some of the worthless Israeli MPs – we will trample them. "The expert on Al-Aqsa mosque structure and Jerusalem Affairs, Engineer Jammal Amr, has warned that traces of dangerous chemicals have been found in the foundations of the Al-Aqsa mosque. He also emphasized that Israeli occupation forces use substances that induce dissolving in their excavations under Al-Aqsa, in order to fracture the [mosque's] foundations and bring about its collapse... There are [Israeli] specialists spreading the chemicals at night, and removing the traces during the day. In addition, he emphasized that this [Israeli] attack on the Al-Aqsa mosque is the most audacious of the last three years, and that ever since Jerusalem was declared a capital of Arab culture in 2009, the occupation authorities have embarked on a dramatic offensive to Judaize the city and utterly erase its original [Arab] landmarks.
Ammar emphasized that the recurring incursions by settlers (i.e., Jews visiting the Temple Mount) are carried out under the auspices of the occupation government and with its blessing, and that the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa mosque is grievously defiled by functionaries implementing the schemes of the occupation."
