Abbas’ advisor: 1969 Al-Aqsa arson was set by a Jew, the fire is still burning today

Headline: “Al-Habbash: Every blow to the Al-Aqsa Mosque will set the world on fire”
“Supreme Shari’ah Judge of Palestine and [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas’] advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash said that the fire that was ignited at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque 48 years ago, and more precisely on this date in 1969, by Australian Jew [Michael Rohan] (sic., Rohan was a mentally ill Christian) is still burning today, as long as the Jerusalem Noble Sanctuary (i.e., the Temple Mount) and the holy city [of Jerusalem] are under occupation.
Al-Habbash added in a press statement on the anniversary of the arson of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque: ‘The occupation state needs to know that we will not forgive nor forget our right to our Jerusalem, our Al-Aqsa Mosque, and all of our holy sites. The fire that the occupation ignited when it stole the land, destroyed the homes, expelled their owners, and scattered them throughout the world will not go out as long as the right is not returned to its owners and the occupation continues to exist.’”

Michael Rohan - deranged Australian Christian who set fire to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in 1969. For years, the Palestinian Authority has falsely accused Israel of setting the fire.
