Abbas advisor: “The Palestinian people’s struggle will not end and will not fade until the expulsion of the last of the criminal settlers from our land”

Headline: “Al-Habbash calls to try the occupation’s leaders and the settlers before an international court”
“Supreme Shari’ah Judge of Palestine and [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas’] advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash called to put the occupation’s leaders, the occupation government, and the settlers on trial for terror and war crimes. This is following the terror crime that the terrorist settler gangs committed against the Al-Rabi family, which caused the death of Martyr (Shahida) Aisha Al-Rabi (48) (sic., at the time of writing it was unclear whether Jews or Arabs threw rocks at Al-Rabi’s car and killed her; see note below)… at the Za’atara occupation checkpoint, before the eyes and ears of the occupation’s soldiers who were at the site, and under their protection (sic., Israeli soldiers did not protect the rock-throwers or enable their attack). Supreme Shari’ah Judge [Al-Habbash] emphasized that this despicable crime is a war crime… that was committed by those who steal the Palestinian land, live in illegal settlements in contradiction to the international laws, sow ruin and destruction, and commit crimes in all areas of the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem… He emphasized that the Palestinian people’s struggle will not end and will not fade until the expulsion of the last of the criminal settlers from our land, and until our people achieves freedom through the end of the oppressive occupation – something that they view as far-off, while we view it as near.”

Aisha Al-Rabi – 48-year-old Palestinian woman who was killed when rocks were thrown at her car on Oct. 12, 2018, at Tapuach Junction near Nablus. Palestinians claim Israelis/Jews committed the attack, but it remains unclear whether Israelis/Jews or Palestinians threw the rocks and the matter is still under investigation as of Oct. 16, 2018.
