"One visit to the website of Palestinian Media Watch provides ample evidence of the PA’s manipulation of soccer to promote terror. These are just a few examples from PA-controlled territory in recent years: In the town of Qaffin, a soccer team was named after “the Martyr Ziyad Da’as.” He helped mastermind the 2002 Hadera bat mitzvah massacre in which six people, including African-American band leader Aharon Ellis, were slaughtered. A soccer game in the town of Tzurif began with a moment of silence in honor of Khalil al-Wazir, better known as Abu Jihad, a veteran terrorist leader. He helped planned the 1978 Tel Aviv beach front attack in which Gail Rubin, the niece of a U.S. senator, and 37 bus passengers were massacred..."

Israel Hayom cites instances of PA incitement exposed by PMW to show PA not serious about peace

"The Palestinian Media Watch institute exposed that just a week ago, the official television channel ‎of the PA chose to broadcast a clip in which a school pupil calls to kill Jews ('We will fight the ‎Jews, kill them and overcome them.') This, of course, isn't the only incitement. Last year, the ‎Palestinian Authority Education Ministry organized a sports event in honor of the Egyptian poet ‎Hisham al-Gakh after the latter read a poem that included the words, 'My enemy, Zion, Satan with a ‎tail.'"

Fox News article cites "the important NGO, PMW" to show PA not serious about peace

"The Palestinian Authority itself has been signaling their Israeli neighbors that they are ‎preparing their kids for war, not peace. The important NGO, Palestinian Media Watch, ‎continuously documents how PA uses education and culture to promote haters ‎and terrorist murderers of Jews.‎"

JNS: Obama harps on Netanyahu's pre- and post-election statements but ignores PA incitement documented by PMW

"The Obama administration frequently does indeed pretend that a foreign leader didn’t say something—when a Palestinian leader is the one who said it. Here are a few examples, just from the past month. (All translations courtesy of Palestinian Media Watch.) On March 8, Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah Party celebrated International Women’s Day by posting on its official website photos and text praising Amna Muna, a Palestinian woman who kidnapped and murdered an Israeli teenager in 2001. Fatah called her 'O glorious one' and declared that she 'is always present in our hearts.' Obama pretended it never happened—after all, how can he admit that his Palestinian allies celebrate murderers?"

Arutz 7: PMW documents how "the PA's education system is an incubator of anti-Semitic hatred"

“PMW has documented how the PA's education system is an incubator of anti-Semitic hatred and incitement to murder Jews.”

Chicago Sun Times quotes PMW material to show that the threats facing Israel are real

"Here are some starkly racist comments gleaned from the files of the Palestinian Media ‎Watch...‎ A host on the Palestinian Authority’s official TV network, further identified as a ‎professor of Quranic studies, told his audience, 'Humanity will never live in comfort as ‎long as the Jews are causing devastating corruption throughout the land... An old ‎man told me: If a fish in the sea fights with another fish, I am sure the Jews are behind ‎it.'"

Arutz 7 article on PA Antisemitism based on PMW documentation

"The Jews are behind all that is wrong in the world, according to the host of a weekly ‎Palestinian Authority TV program on Islam, cited by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW). ‎Even when fish fight in the sea, 'the Jews are behind it,' said the Muslim preacher and ‎professor of Quranic Studies, Imad Hamato.‎.. Only a month prior to Hamato's statement, Palestinian Media Watch reported on a cleric ‎on official PA TV who taught that Jews are 'apes and pigs' whose 'hearts were sealed ‎by Allah.'"‎

IPT News: PMW documents continued PA terror glorification following historic verdic against PA in lawsuit

"A $655 million judgment levied by an American jury last month for facilitating terrorist attacks a decade ago apparently did little to persuade the Palestinian Authority (PA) to stop glorifying terrorists. The PA recently dedicated a monument in Ramallah to terrorist Dalal Mughrabi, who led a 1978 bus hijacking attack that killed 37 Israeli civilians, Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) reports."

Breitbart on PMW bulletin: PA honors female terrorist who led attack that killed 37, with ‎monument in her name

"In Ramallah, where the Palestinian Authority government headquarters is located, a memorial was erected in a public square for Dalal Mughrabi, a female terrorist who was responsible for carrying out an attack that killed 37 Israelis, including 13 children... Itamar Marcus of Palestinian Media Watch reports, 'Mughrabi Square is adorned with a large monument in the shape of what the PA tells its people is ‘Palestine’–a map that includes all of the State of Israel. In the center of the monument, there is an image of terrorist Mughrabi holding a rifle.'"

PMW launches Ambassadors Program

"An Israel advocacy group is enabling activists across the globe to have information about the Palestinian Authority at their fingertips. Palestinian Media Watch has created the online tool, which will offer Israel supporters information on PA policies and activities which are anti-Israel, complete with links to videos."

Fox News on PMW report: PA monument dedicated to terrorist who led attack that killed 37‎ civilians

"[PMW reported that] a female terrorist who died in an infamous attack that killed 38 Israelis, including 13 children, was memorialized last week at a public square in Ramallah in what Jewish leaders say is just the latest twisted example of Palestinians glorifying extremist murderers."

Arutz 7 on PMW documentation of PA responses to historic US court ruling holding PA ‎responsible for terror attacks

"In response to a groundbreaking New York court ruling last week finding that the ‎Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Palestinian Authority (PA) are liable for ‎terrorist attacks during the PA terror campaign of 2000-2005, the PLO has admitted it ‎can't pay the damages‎... PLO Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi admitted last Tuesday that 'the PA ‎and the (Palestinian Liberation) Organization lack the funds necessary to pay these ‎compensations or fines,' as translated and revealed by Palestinian Media ‎Watch (PMW)‎."

PMW contributed to US court case holding PA responsible for terror attacks

"A U.S. court awarded the victims of Palestinian terrorism $655.5 million in damages... Evidence submitted in court, some of it provided by PMW, showed that killers were on the PA payroll, that the PA paid the salaries of terrorists in Israeli prisons and made payments to the families of suicide bombers."

Chicago Sun Times: US verdict holding PA responsible for terror confirms PMW documentation of PA terror promotion

"The jury verdict in New York affirmed what had been obvious from the start: The ‎wretched campaign of murder and mayhem was supported, aided and abetted by the ‎Palestinian Authority, the governing body for Palestinians in the disputed territories, ‎and its parent organization, the Palestine Liberation Organization... Under the leadership of Abbas, Palestinian official media, schools and society in ‎general continue to glorify terrorists and dream of a Middle East without Israel on the ‎map. A recent Facebook posting by Abbas’ Fatah party advocated rocket attacks and ‎the 'end of Israel,' according to the monitoring group Palestinian Media Watch.‎"

PMW played important role in US court case holding PA responsible for terror attacks

"A jury in Manhattan has found the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority liable for hundreds of millions of dollars in damages from terror attacks a decade ago… Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik wrote at Palestinian Media Watch that the organization had submitted expert opinions to the court as well as translations of Palestinian television videos showing “promotion of terror.”

PMW documentation is basis for University of Haifa publication on Palestinians' view of peace

"Dr. David Bukay of University of Haifa's school of political science has been leading a research project that just completed an in-depth investigation of Palestinian Arab views of the peace talks... Bukay explains that in the research all the materials were gathered by Itamar Marcus's Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), and adds 'if the state of Israel, instead of funding hundreds and thousands of Israel-hating NGOs gave funds to Marcus and the organization he leads... people in Israel would benefit.'"

JPost (Christian edition) on PMW report: PA depicts Jesus as Palestinian

"'We celebrate the birth of Jesus, a Palestinian messenger of love, justice and peace.' These are the words of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, spoken in recognition of Christmas 2014, and reported in a Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) bulletin titled 'PA: Jesus was a Palestinian' published on 12/28/14."

Israel Today: PMW exposed to Congress in 2011 that the PA pays terrorists' salaries

"In 2011, Itamar Marcus of Palestinian Media Watch spoke before the US Congress to explain how this money was being cynically used to encourage the slaughter of Israeli Jews by paying healthy monthly salaries to those sitting in Israeli jails, or to the families of terrorists killed during successful attacks."

PMW exposed that Philadephia Councilwoman honored PA governor who regularly glorifies terrorists

"A Philadelphia city councilwoman who recently honored the governor of Ramallah [Laila Ghannam] has backtracked after learning the senior Palestinian official offered praise and support for terrorists... Palestinian Media Watch, an Israeli research group that tracks incitement in the Palestinian media and by Palestinian officials, documented multiple instances Wednesday in which Ghannam had glorified terrorists as Palestinian heroes."

Philadelphia blog: PMW exposed that Philadelphia Councilwoman unknowingly honored a terror supporter

"Did you hear the one about the City Councilwoman who’s invited to meet and greet a visiting dignitary, she does, gives her a 'citation of honor' — and later learns the dignitary supports and praises terrorists? The visiting dignitary was Laila Ghannam, the Palestinian District Governor of Ramallah... After the event [honoring Ghannam], first reported by Palestinian Media Watch, Sanchez learned to her surprise that Ghannam is on record, and video, praising terrorists who had killed Israeli civilians."

CBN reports on PMW receiving Israeli Prize for Media Criticism

"Palestinian Media Watch founding director Itamar Marcus will receive the Abramowitz Israeli Prize for Media Criticism for outstanding coverage of the Palestinian Authority. For nearly two decades, Itamar Marcus and his staff have monitored the P.A. media, exposing what other news agencies often avoid. 'This is why Israel needs an organization such as Palestinian Media Watch,' Yisrael Medad and Eli Pollak wrote in the Jerusalem Post recently."

JNS: PMW director honored with Israeli Prize for Media Criticism

"The director of Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), an Israeli organization dedicated to exposing incitement to violence by official Palestinian outlets and other sources, will be honored with the Abramowitz Israeli Prize for Media Criticism this month."

PMW awarded Abramowitz Israeli Prize for Media Criticism

Is Abbas a moderate? Is the PA under his rule a model of moderation whose only interest is to create a Palestinian state within the June 4, 1967 demarcation lines? The media’s job is to collect the necessary evidence and provide it to the public... Unfortunately, our media has consistently shied away from this issue... This is why Israel needs an organization such as Palestinian Media Watch. Its very existence is a stinging rebuke to Israel’s media."

Times of Israel: PMW exposes that majority of Palestinians believe Israel was behind Paris terror attacks

"A poll conducted by the Palestinian Ma’an News Agency after this month’s string of terror attacks in Paris yielded a startling conclusion: the vast majority of respondents believe Israel may have played a role in the Paris attacks… Since the attacks earlier this month, Palestinian Media Watch reported, the official PA media has been filled with conspiracy theories linking Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Mossad and Jewish leaders to the Paris attacks."

Canada responds to PMW's exposure of map exhibit erasing Israel, supported by CIDA

"Palestinian Media Watch wrote on Jan. 5 that the former Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)... along with the Norwegian People’s Aid organization (NPA), funded an exhibition of maps of ‘Palestine’ that obliterated Israel... Canada’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs: 'Canada did not provide funding for activities associated with this project/exhibit, and has not funded NPA projects since 2012... Canada believes that Israel has every right to exist, as a free, democratic and distinctively Jewish state.'"

The Blaze quotes PMW director in article about Hamas video that promotes killing Jews, exposed by PMW

"'The Palestinian Authority has been openly promoting murder by glorifying terrorists and has been paying salaries to terrorists for years and the West ignores it – and worse continues funding the Palestinian Authority and treating them like an acceptable government,' Itamar Marcus, director of Palestinian Media Watch, which monitors Palestinian media and societal trends, told TheBlaze."

JNS on PMW bulletin: Fatah marks its 50th anniversary by anticipating a world without Israel

"Jan. 1 marked the 50th anniversary of the founding of Fatah... Thanks to Palestinian Media Watch, however, we know exactly what kind of imagery Abbas’s Fatah is using to celebrate its 50th: maps that omit Israel."

British Parliamentarians cite PMW findings to condemn PA " hate education"

"The Conservative Friends of Israel lobby, whose website states they work with 2,000 activists alongside 80 per cent of Tory MPs refers to 'incitement and hate education' saying 'incitement takes many forms; denial of Israel’s right to exist, depiction of all of modern Israel as part of Palestine, portrayal of children as legitimate combatants, glorification of past Palestinian suicide bombings.'"

PA incitement as documented by PMW laid groundwork for violence against Israelis

"Not a day goes by without another fiery Palestinian Authority incident of incitement (painstakingly documented and broadcast to the world by the good work of Palestinian Media Watch). This hatred has metastasized like a cancer and an entire generation has grown up steeped in it. The horrific result is the vast number of Israelis murdered at the hands of Palestinian terrorists."

PMW Director Itamar Marcus interviewed by The Jewish Week

Excerpt of the interview: "The hate messaging in recent years is as vicious — even worse — than the [Yasir] Arafat days. We’ve seen children on Palestinian television repeating a poem that says, 'My enemy Zion is Satan with a tail.' Recently, a boy on Palestinian television read a poem with the words, 'Oh you [Jews] who murdered Allah’s pious prophets, you have been condemned to humiliation and hardship. Sons of Zion, most evil among creation, barbaric apes and wretched pigs.' In the past, they denied Israel’s existence. Now children compare Jews to apes and deny the humanity of Jews."

Sun Sentinel on PMW Director Itamar Marcus' presentation at FAU

"Itamar Marcus — founder and director of Palestinian Media Watch — told an audience of nearly 200 people (both students and community members) at Florida Atlantic University's (FAU) Boca Raton campus on Nov. 10 that the Palestinian Authority (PA) poisons the minds of its people with anti-Israel messages through its media."

PMW director shows that Palestinian hate speech makes peace impossible

"Itamar Marcus of Palestinian Media Watch said the PA is poisoning the minds of its population through videos, cartoons, and even crossword puzzles. 'We know what they’re saying in English to the media and negotiators, but we wanted to know what they were saying in Arabic, particularly what they’re saying to kids, because that will affect generations to come,' said Marcus."

Students use PMW material to protest planned speech by Abbas' advisor at Israeli university

“Students at [Israel’s] Ben Gurion University were astounded to discover that Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash [Abbas’ Advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs] had given a lecture yesterday at the institution where they are studying... According to the students, [Al-Habbash] incites regularly against Jews... [In a letter protesting the event] the students... quote[d] statements by Al-Habbash, courtesy of Palestinian Media Watch."

Israel Hayom quotes PMW's documentation of violence promotion by Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Abbas' advisor on religion

"Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' adviser on religious and Islamic affairs, Mahmoud al-Habbash... has been quoted repeatedly advocating the importance of ribat, or Muslim religious war, and encouraging conflict with Israel... Palestinian Media Watch catalogued al-Habbash's extensive history of promoting conflict with Israel both in his current role and in his former position as religious affairs minister."

"Incitement continues" - as reported by PMW

"Nan Jacques Zilberdik and Itamar Marcus of Palestinian Media Watch reported this week that in recent weeks Mahmoud al-Habash, Mahmoud Abbas' adviser on religious affairs, has adopted the terminology and religious belief of Hamas, which portrays peace with Israel as a violation of Islamic law."

Congressional bill seeks to cut aid until PA stops paying terrorists' salaries, as exposed by PMW

"After Abbas’s denunciation of the latest synagogue attack, the official Facebook page for his political party Fatah reportedly posted a video and statement suggesting that his condemnation of terrorism was insincere. One of Abbas’s advisers praised the terror attacks on Thursday, according to Palestinian Media Watch."

IPT institute quotes PMW extensively on PA incitement that led to recent terror surge

"In light of increasing terrorist attacks, Netanyahu has repeatedly accused the PA and Hamas of ‎inciting violence against Israeli citizens. The following section outlines key examples of Palestinian ‎Authority and Fatah sanctioned incitement to violence and glorification of terrorism in recent weeks‎ (most of which were exposed and reported by PMW - PMW Ed.)"

JPost op-ed: PMW research shows that the PA's real goal is no Israel

"There is an Israeli research institute called Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) which monitors what is being said by the Palestinian leaders in Arabic and releases translations to the public. Through extensive research and translations done by this institute, it becomes quite clear what the Palestinian leadership’s message is to their people: there is no 'Israel' and Palestinians must do everything within their power to rid Palestinian lands of the 'Zionists.'"

JNS cites PMW-exposed statements glorifying terrorists made by Abbas' advisor

"Palestinian Media Watch has compiled a long list of statements by [senior adviser to PA president Abbas and member of the Central Committee of Fatah Sultan Abu Al-] Einen praising terrorists. But the one that attracted the most attention was his public praise, in May 2013, of a terrorist who stabbed to death an Israeli father of five. Einen said the killer was a “heroic fighter” and called for “blessings to the breast that nursed him.” In response, five members of Congress—Republican Ed Royce (Calif.) and Democrats Eliot Engel (N.Y.), Nita Lowey (N.Y.), Ted Deutch (Fla.), and Brad Sherman (Calif.)—wrote to Abbas, demanding that he fire Einen."

JPost mentions PMW research exposing PA libels about Al-Aqsa Mosque

"[For years] Palestinian leaders, including Abbas, [have been] claiming that Israel is intent on destroying al-Aksa Mosque or wresting the Temple Mount from Muslims. According to one such claim, construction on the Mughrabi Bridge was a plot to undermine the foundation of the Aksa Mosque. (The watchdog organization Palestinian Media Watch maintains an online catalog of countless such statements, going back to 1997)."

Fox News reports on PMW bulletin exposing song glorifying car terrorism

“In the Palestinian territories of Gaza and the West Bank… [car] attacks are being glorified in song… ‘Run them over, burn the next in line,’ goes the song… translated by Palestinian Media Watch. ‘Don't leave a single settler. Wait for them at the intersection. Let the settler drown in red blood.’”

JNS reports on shocking PA daily cartoon exposed by PMW

"A leering, hook-nosed Jew, beginning to disrobe, prepares to pounce upon a helpless non-Jewish woman who cowers in fear on the ground before him... This disturbing image, so common in anti-Semitic propaganda in past centuries, this week made an appearance with a modern twist: the hook-nosed would-be rapist wore an Israeli army uniform... It [the cartoon] appear[ed]... on the official website of the Palestinian Authority’s National Security Forces, according to a report by Palestinian Media Watch."

CAMERA uses PMW documentation to demonstrate PA incitement that fomented violence in Jerusalem

"Several days before a Palestinian Islamic Jihad member from Jerusalem tried to murder Temple Mount advocate Yehudah Glick, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas spoke at a conference in Ramallah and called upon Palestinians to defend the Temple Mount (al Aqsa compound) from the Jews 'using all means.' In the following days, the PA’s official television network rebroadcast Abbas’ call more than 19 times, as Palestinian Media Watch documented."

Jewish Voice on PMW bulletin exposing PA incitement against conference where Rabbi Glick was shot

"Hours before Temple Mount activist Yehuda Glick was shot by an Arab would-be assassin at an event at the Begin Heritage Center... former Palestinian Authority (PA) Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei called for "immediate intervention" against the event. The shocking revelation was made by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW)."

Algemeiner: Spike in PA incitement (exposed by PMW) led to Jerusalem violence

"An Israeli media watchdog is charging that an official Palestinian Authority (PA) video recently aired ‎‎19 times in three days implicitly calls for taking violent measures against Israeli Jews.‎.. The video clip shows PA President Mahmoud Abbas, in a speech from October 17th, calling for ‎Palestinians to prevent 'in any way' Jews from going to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, according ‎to Palestinian Media Watch (PMW)‎."

PMW Director Itamar Marcus interviewed in documentary about Israel

"Itamar Marcus of Palestinian Media Watch... 'One of the goals of Palestinian historians, begun in the 1990s, is to write a history of Palestine that won't allow for the existence of any other people in the land' -- what Victor Davis Hanson of the Hoover Institution calls a 'pseudohistory.' The Palestinian Authority, continues Marcus, 'often cites the persecution of Jews in European countries as proof, not that the Jews were persecuted, but as proof of the Jews' evil nature.'"

PMW documentation shows that the PA continues to propagate drug libels

"The Palestinian Authority (PA) has perpetuated another "drug libel," Palestinian Media Watch reports Wednesday - a continuation of the anti-Semitic trope ("blood libel") whereby Jews are accused of purposefully harming their neighbors in odd and counterintuitive ways... In 2012, PMW exposed five different articles in which PA officials had claimed Israel was distributing and manufacturing drugs in the PA, through a 'systematic policy to destroy Palestinian society.'"

Jewish paper cites PMW documentation: PA opposes war with Israel only because they would lose

"The indispensable Palestinian Media Watch has 'documented that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas himself has said a number of times that he opposes violence against Israel only because it is not currently in the Palestinian interest. He has given two main reasons for this. First, Palestinians are not prepared militarily, and second, a war would heavily damage the infrastructure in the Palestinian areas.'"

CBN News: PMW exposes that PA pays salaries of 60,000 civil servants who don't work

"According to a 2014 congressional report, the U.S. government has committed more than $5 billion to the Palestinian Authority since the mid-1990s. Yet the average Palestinian is still living in abject poverty. In a video interview, obtained courtesy of Palestinian Media Watch, Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas indicates where the money may have gone. "We've been transferring more than 50 percent of our [P.A.] budget to Gaza, including salaries to 60,000 to 70,000 [P.A.] civil servants who aren't working," Abbas says in the video... According to those figures, those '60,000 P.A. workers receive $47 million a month -- not to work,' PMW said."

Chicago Sun Times piece says Israel is not obstacle to peace, citing PMW material

"A couple of recent episodes show it’s not Israel blocking a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. After Israel killed the two Hamas operatives who murdered the three Israeli teens, the murderers were idolized by Palestinian Authority media as martyrs, according to the monitoring organization Palestinian Media Watch. The authority’s official TV said the two were killed 'at 2 a.m., according to Zionist hatred time.'"

Israel Hayom cites PMW documentation of the PA glorifying the killer of 3 Israeli teens

"Last month, when the terrorists who abducted and murdered Israeli teenagers Eyal Yifrach, Gil-ad Shaer and Naftali Frenkel near Hebron in June (a trigger for Operation Protective Edge) were apprehended and killed when they opened fire on Israeli soldiers, the official PA TV channel broadcast the following segment, provided by Palestinian Media Watch: 'PA TV reporter: 'At 2 a.m., according to Zionist hatred time, the residential quarter in Hebron awoke to the sound of shots fired by the occupation directly at the two shahids [martyrs], Amer Abu Aisheh and Marwan Al-Qawasmeh...'"

Algemeiner uses PMW documentation of PA accusing US of creating IS to destabilize Middle East

"Just two weeks ago, both PA cabinet minister Yusuf Ida’is and the official PA news agency WAFA praised the killers of the three Israeli teenagers –one of whom was an American– as 'Shahids,' or 'martyrs.' And just a few weeks before that, the official PA daily newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida published no less than five articles in a six-day period acusing the United States of creating ISIS in order to destabilize the Middle East. (For details, see www.palwatch.org)"

Israel Hayom on PMW bulletin - Hamas says wiping out Israel will be easier from West Bank

"If Hamas manages to establish a foothold in the West Bank, it would be able to wipe out Israel and establish an Islamic state in its stead, senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Zahar told Palestinian news outlet Al-Ayyam on Wednesday. The interview, translated and posted by Palestinian Media Watch on Sunday, revealed Hamas' previously covert intention of taking over the West Bank."

Breitbart on PMW bulletin exposing PA daily article praising Israel's treatment of Palestinian workers

"A September 21, 2014 article in the Palestinian Authority controlled daily publication, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, praises Israel as well as Israeli businesses for their treatment of Palestinian workers. The same article condemned Palestinian employers for their unfair treatment of fellow Palestinians. First reported and translated by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), the Al-Hayat Al-Jadida article stated: 'Whenever Palestinian workers have the opportunity to work for Israeli employers, they are quick to quit their jobs with their Palestinian employers.'"

IPT article on PMW bulletin about PA glorification of murderers of 3 teens

"Two Hamas terrorists responsible for kidnapping and murdering three Israeli boys in June are being honored by the Palestinian Authority as "martyrs," according to a Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) report. 'Shahid,' or martyr, is a designation for people who 'achieve [the] highest status in Islam' and will be rewarded in the afterlife, the report said."

JPost: Israeli-Arab MP compared Israel to ISIS, originally exposed by PMW

"'The Israeli organization closest to Islamic State is the government of Israel,' Barakei said, according to a translation Palestinian Media Watch released on Sunday."

Fatah hate speech worsened, according to Israel Hayom article citing PMW documentation

"While Hamas operates for the most part underground, Fatah is out in the open... They [Fatah] also use the PA's official media organs, as documented by the watchdog Palestinian Media Watch. The public statements made recently by senior Fatah officials teach us that the language and terminology used by the organization in addressing local Palestinians has changed. Fatah and Hamas are trying to outdo each other in disseminating hatred of Jews and Israel, even while Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas speaks of reconciliation and nonviolence."

Breitbart recaps PMW bulletin: PA officials call Israeli-Palestinian soccer match "a crime against humanity"

One of the highest-ranking Palestinian officials condemned a recent soccer match between Israeli and Palestinian schoolchildren on a southern kibbutz, calling the bridge-building event “a crime against humanity.” Palestinian Media Watch reports that Jibril Rajoub, the deputy secretary of the Fatah Central Committee and the head of the Palestinian Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, said the match represented “an Israeli attempt to cover up their crimes against [Palestinian] athletes.” “Any activity of normalization in sports with the Zionist enemy is a crime against humanity,” Rajoub said.

Chicago Sun-Times cites PMW material on PA incitement during Gaza operation to show Abbas not serious about peace

"Abbas has plenty of questions he should answer, for example, about the campaign of hate his government sanctions. PA TV likened Israeli bombing of a Hamas operations office to the 9/11 attack in New York, according to Palestinian Media Watch. Palestinian Authority media claimed that the recent kidnapping-murders of three Israeli youth, the work of Hamas, was an Israeli 'plot' to start war, that Israelis are 'adorers of Nazism,' and that 'the Israeli propaganda machine' and Jewish funding 'control the TV and media channels.'"

Many Palestinians blame Israel for 9/11, evidenced in PMW bulletin

"The Palestinian Authority TV ran a section last week showing a 12-story Hamas headquarters building being toppled by Israel, splicing that footage with the footage of the 9/11 attack in New York, and suggesting, all these years later, that Israel 'did it.' Palestinian Media Watch, which distributed the footage, after having translated it into English, said: 'Unfortunately the PA did not provide its viewers with all the facts... No one was killed in the Gaza attack, unlike in the World Trade Center, where nearly 3,000 innocent civilians were killed.'"

Fox News: PMW documentation shows PA not acting like a potential peace partner

"Abbas... has a strange way of signaling to Israelis that he wants peace... A study by the respected Palestinian Media Watch details a barrage of hate unleashed by the PA and its affiliate, Fatah... The U.S. should demand that the PA stop demonizing its neighbor. Unless the Obama administration and other “peacemakers” force the PA to talk peace to its own constituents, the toxic yield from its harvest of hate will poison hopes for peace for years to come."

US pushing peace talks despite continued PA incitement, documented by PMW

"The countless publications of the Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) organization, which monitors PA media publications and broadcasts make it clear there have been no changes whatsoever in the glorification of terror at the government level from Ramallah. So how does Mahmoud Abbas differ from Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal? Simple. He wages war with words, encourages terror at the diplomatic and educational level. It’s the most dangerous terrorism of all, and the United States and Europe both fund his efforts, full throttle."

PA not a suitable peace partner, as shown by PMW documentation

"On the very first day of the war, Fatah’s official Facebook page, called “Fatah – The Main Page” posted what it called “A message to the Israeli government and the Israeli people.” Here’s what Abbas’ Fatah had to say to Israelis as hundreds of rockets were being fired at them from Gaza: 'Death will reach you from the south to the north. Flee our country and you won’t die. The KN-103 rocket is on its way toward you.' And that was just the beginning... And Fatah’s assault has not been limited to words. On July 7, Fatah’s Facebook page announced that Fatah’s military unit, the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, 'targeted the enemy’s bases and settlements with 35 rockets.'" (All translations courtesy of Palestinian Media Watch.)

PMW director Itamar Marcus is keynote speaker at event to welcome visiting NY Congressional hopeful

One of the keynote speakers at the event was Itamar Marcus, whose NGO monitors incitement within the Palestinian media. Marcus urged Blakeman to fight against the notion that "Hamas is the problem and the Palestinian Authority is the solution." Noting the long list of incidents of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic incitement within the PA's official media even in the past few weeks, Marcus said that peace would not come until the international community recognized the difference between actual moderates and extremists. "The biggest mistake, the biggest misunderstanding ... since the signing of the Oslo Accords, is that the Palestinian Authority is a peace party."

Arutz Sheva recaps PMW bulletin: PA claims teens' murder was "fabricated" to start war

In an op-ed this Saturday by Yahya Rabah, a regular columnist for the PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, the claim was made that Israel invented the horrific murders as a "pretext." Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) revealed and translated the piece... The PA daily columnist asserted "the aggression began on June 12 following a fabricated event for which no one took responsibility, that is, the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teens."

Tazpit News Agency recaps PMW bulletin: PA accuses America of establishing ISIS

The Palestinian Authority official daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, has published five articles in the last six weeks accusing the United States of establishing the radical Islamic movement Islamic State (ISIS or IS) that has conquered vast territory in Syria and Iraq in recent months, this according to a report compiled by the Palestinian Media Watch (PMW).

JPost: PMW special report exposes PA Holocaust desecration during Gaza war

The Palestinian Authority and the Fatah Party constantly used Nazi and Holocaust analogies to demonize Israel during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza, according to a forthcoming report by Palestinian Media Watch titled "Holocaust desecration by the Palestinian Authority during the 2014 Gaza operation."... The following are examples of Holocaust comparisons used by PA and Fatah leaders and official news outlets: * Israel's operation was a "Holocaust unlike any that has been recorded in history" * The incursion in Gaza was "reenacting the Holocaust" * Binyamin Netanyahu is a "descendant of the Nazis" * Israel is "the new Nazis" * "Nazi Israeli mentality" * "Israel, the rogue state, which is still blackmailing Germany, Europe, and humanity with the Holocaust"

Breitbart recaps PMW bulletin: PA accuses US of creating ISIS

The state-controlled Palestinian Authority daily newspaper has published five separate articles in the past six weeks which accuse the United States of being responsible for the creation of the Islamic State terror group, Palestinian Media Watch reports. The articles all share a common theme, as Itamar Marcus of Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) documents: they are all based on the claim that “the US has a long term goal of controlling the Arab-Muslim states by dividing them through conflict and wars. ISIS's war and other conflicts are all said to be the work of the US.”

Fox News on Fatah Facebook post exposed by PMW

"Palestinian Media Watch... believes Fatah’s highlighting of its terror activities is a tactic designed to appease radicals within its own West Bank, as well as remind elements of Palestinian society clearly attracted by Hamas’ armed opposition to Israel, that Fatah also has terror options at its fingertips - and a track record to prove it."

Dr. Manfred Gerstenfeld: "Subscribe to the bulletins of Palestinian Media Watch"

Whoever wants to follow the more recent genocidal expressions of Hamas should subscribe to the bulletins of Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) or go to its website... PMW mentions that Hamas TV also recently broadcast a statement from former Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh who has said in the past: “We love death like our enemies love life! We love Martyrdom, the way in which [Hamas] leaders died.”

Gaza outrage: it’s really just about the Jews, isn’t it?

The Blaze: Sermon translated by PMW shows Hamas not interested in peace

“Our belief about fighting you [Jews] is that we will exterminate you, until the last one, and we will not leave of you, even one,” the cleric says, according to a translation by Palestinian Media Watch. “For you are the usurpers of the land, foreigners, mercenaries of the present and of all times. Look at history, brothers: Wherever there were Jews, they spread corruption.”

WND recaps PMW bulletin: Hamas loves death like Israel loves life

“Today you [Israelis] are fighting divine soldiers, who love death for Allah like you love life, and who compete among themselves for Martyrdom like you flee from death,” said Hamas Chief of Staff Muhammad Deif in a recorded statement broadcast Wednesday by Al Aqsa TV, the Hamas channel. Palestinian Media Watch, which translated the statement and posted video of it, noted Deif is commander of Hamas’ military wing, the Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades.

Townhall quotes PMW director Itamar Marcus about Islamic TV: "The brainwashing continues daily"

Itamar Marcus from Palestinian Media Watch observed, "Watching Islamic controlled TV is an eye-opening experience. Ads state that all sins are forgiven in suicide, and you will marry 72 dark-eyed virgins. Death by suicide is a joyous wedding to 72 virgins, not a funeral. Another public service ad suggests that when a mother loses one son, they should give the cry of joy and give a gun to their next son so he too can bring the mother joy."

WND recaps PMW video of Hamas song celebrating alleged kidnapping of Israeli soldier

Members of Hamas – the Palestinian group governing Gaza the U.S. has designated a terrorist organization – earlier celebrated the alleged kidnapping of an Israeli soldier by shooting off fireworks and handing out candy to people in the street, according to Palestinian Media Watch. Now, Hamas has released a YouTube video of a song celebrating what it describes as the abduction of Israeli soldier Shaul Oron, who has been missing since last week amid the military conflict in Gaza...The song mocks Oron, Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “You retard, you will accept [our] terms and drink from the cup of humiliation,” the song tells Netanyahu.

The Commentator: As seen in PMW video, Hamas "glories in death of Palestinian civilians"

PMW quoted Hamas TV in the broadcast as saying: "Every soul has its time. These people - their time had come, and they were Martyred (i.e., Gaza civilians killed in war). They have gained [Paradise]... Being with Allah is better. What we see is very hard but we won't surrender, Allah willing. The first to say it are the Martyrs' family. The first to say it are the Martyrs' mothers and fathers... Don't be disturbed by these images. He who was killed this way doesn't feel."

Who is killing Palestinian children? Hamas is, Frontpage Magazine concludes based on PMW material

There is sufficient documentary evidence to show that Israeli pilots have cancelled scheduled air strikes after having spotted children and other innocents close to sites designated for destruction. On the other hand, since the outbreak of the war, the Hamas government repeatedly ordered citizens to ignore Israel’s warnings to evacuate before the strikes: residents were to remain inside their houses and not to “collaborate with the enemy.” [Links to PMW article]

JM in the AM interviews PMW founder Itamar Marcus

Nachum welcomed Itamar Marcus, founder and Director of Palestinian Media Watch, to JM in the AM to explore the organization’s vital work.

Algemeiner quotes PMW director Itamar Marcus on Fatah's support for Hamas attacks on Israel

According to Itamar Marcus, director of Palestinian Media Watch, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is not personally supporting Hamas rocket attacks on Israel, but Fatah—the movement he heads—is spreading a violent anti-Israel message on Facebook. In a Tuesday post on the official Fatah Facebook page, “a poster claiming to be from the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of Fatah, called for renewing suicide terror attacks against Israel,” Marcus said.

Cal Thomas uses PMW material to show that Abbas isn't so "moderate" as some believe

Last week in a Facebook posting, as reported by Palestinian Media Watch, an Israeli research institute that studies Palestinian society, Ofir Gendelman the spokesman to the Arab media in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, asked Abbas in Arabic if he saw reconciliation with Hamas as a means to fight Israel. Gendelman's post included a cartoon of Hamas and Fatah fighters smiling, shaking hands and aiming rifles at an Israeli soldier. “To his question about uniting to fight Israel,” writes PMW, “Fatah posted its answer: 'Yes, this is what we want.'”

CBN news on Fatah and Hamas social media as exposed by PMW

To understand the ideology embraced by Hamas and Fatah, a working knowledge of Arabic is very helpful. The two Palestinian factions formed a unity government in early June. The Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) staff makes it their business to monitor both factions' Arabic-language websites, Facebook pages, Tweets and satellite television programs.

Based on PMW material, i24news.tv draws similarities between Fatah and Hamas

Is the Palestinian Authority joining Hamas in its latest fight against Israel? Fatah posted Wednesday a video on its Facebook page from its military wing Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades warning Israelis to flee the country, NGO Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) reported. “Death will reach you from the south to the north. Flee our country without dying. The KN-103 rocket is on its way to you,” the message read.

International Business Times cites PMW-exposed videos from during Operation Protective Edge

Hamas aired a music video on its television channel that calls on suicide bombers to “blow up Tel Aviv,” Palestinian Media Watch reported Thursday. The Israel-based nonprofit said the video appeared Wednesday on Al-Aqsa TV, the Hamas-run television station in Gaza. The one-minute, 12-second video, which was uploaded to YouTube on Thursday, shows rockets being fired and destroyed cafes and buses from suicide attacks in Israel.

Washington Free Beacon recaps PMW bulletin on Fatah video incitement

The military wing of Fatah sent a message on Wednesday in Hebrew to Israel that “death will reach you from the south to the north,” and advising the Israeli government and people to “flee our country and you won’t die.” The video, made available by Palestinian Media Watch, was produced by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades and posted by Fatah on Facebook.

Powerline: President Obama should take a look at PMW's website

Abbas is such a peacenik that the media under his control via Fatah or the Palestinian Authority ‎regularly call for the extinction of Israel. Palestinian Media Watch makes the work of the Palestinian ‎media accessible in English and interested observers can witness the phenomenon for themselves.‎ Let’s take a recent example highlighted by PMW. Only four days after the kidnapping of the three Israeli ‎teenagers, Abbas’s Fatah movement posted a video on its Facebook page promising Israelis: ‎‎“Death is near.”

Israeli Ambassador to US Ron Dermer: The NY Times should read PMW

The New York Times writes Palestinians have also been guilty of hate speech, but neglects to mention that Palestinian incitement is government backed, that Palestinian Authority leaders hail terrorists as heroes, name public squares after them and teach schoolchildren to emulate them. For daily dose of government-backed Palestinian incitement, check out – Palestinian Media Watch. No summer interns in the New York Times research department this year?

Chicago Sun-Times: Based on incitement exposed by PMW, Abbas is culpable for murders

As disclosed by Palestinian Media Watch, Fatah on its Facebook page depicted the three boys as mice, with a Star of David on their bodies, caught on the hooks of a fishing rod. This and other Palestinian Authority and Fatah propaganda in media, schools and mosques denies the Jewish history of Jerusalem, celebrates the murder of Israelis, glorifies the “martyrdom” of terrorists, and omits Israel from maps.

The Blaze recaps PMW bulletin on Hamas children's TV show

In Friday’s installment of a Hamas children’s television show that’s making a name for itself outside Gaza due to its incendiary subject matter, cast members and studio guests were encouraged to mimic the sound of rockets being launched at Israel as a way to “excite” the audience. Palestinian Media Watch, a Jerusalem-based research organization which tracks anti-Israel incitement in official Palestinian Authority and Hamas media outlets, uncovered the episode of “Pioneers of Tomorrow” and posted a translated excerpt on its website for purposes of educating the western media and policymakers.

CBN News interviews PMW founder Itamar Marcus on Palestinian response to kidnapping

Marcus says there's widespread support for kidnapping Israelis among Palestinians. But the celebrating stopped once Israel launched the massive search operation. "And the Palestinian population went into shock, so that the cartoons that were appearing the first days in celebration all of a sudden after the third and fourth day were now presenting Israelis as monsters, as terrorists," Marcus said.

Australian Jewish News quotes PMW founder Itamar Marcus on PA cartoons glorifying kidnapping

“The cup is clearly a champions’ cup and the cartoon is clearly a celebration of the capture of the Israelis,” said Itamar Marcus, head of the Palestinian Media Watch monitoring group. “The official cartoonist of the Palestinian Authority was clearly celebrating.” Marcus called upon Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to change the editorial line of his official media. He told The AJN: “Glorifying any terrorist act is immoral and it’s not only the kidnapping that should be condemned. Abbas should be condemning the glorification of it as well.”

Jpost: Cartoons exposed by PMW show that the PA is not a peace partner

Cartoons celebrating catching these three teenagers, showing mice with Jewish stars dangling on a fishing rod (that the vigilant Palestinian Media Watch translated), enrage me – and this from Fatah, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s ‘moderate’ movement if we swallow the naïve Obama-Kerry peace-processing Kool-Aid.

WND quotes PMW research on duplicity in the Palestinian Authority leadership

Palestinian Media Watch translated a Facebook posting by former Hamas government spokesman Ihab al-Ghussein saying that in private meetings with Hamas, Abbas admitted he was lying in his public statements. “When I go out (publicly) and say that the (PA) government is my government, and it recognizes ‘Israel’ and so on, fine – these words are meant to trick the Americans,” Abbas was quoted as saying.

Israel Hayom: "The Palestinian Authority's true intentions [are] meticulously documented by Palestinian Media Watch"

Nearly every day, there is some clear and transparent indication of the Palestinian Authority's true intentions, meticulously documented by Palestinian Media Watch. Not a day goes by without the Palestinian Authority's television station inciting its people to hate and kill Jews, naming squares and sports games after suicide bombers, or calling to replace all the land that we recognize as Israel with "Palestine."

Newsmax TV interviews PMW founder Itamar Marcus about Palestinian children's TV

Marcus' group, an Israeli research institute that studies Palestinian society through its media and schoolbooks, is appalled by the ideology fed to youngsters on a daily basis on Palestinian television. "One young girl . . . said [Israelis] rape the women in the city squares. Now, this girl is not old enough to know . . . what [it] means, but they are brainwashing these kids before they even know the meaning of the words," Marcus said.

Breitbart recaps PMW report on PA and Hamas TV programming for children

Both Hamas, which rules Gaza, and Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah, which governs the West Bank Palestinian Authority (PA), have produced children’s programming teaching that there is no such country as Israel, reports Palestinian Media Watch. There is currently no substantive difference between official Palestinian Authority and Hamas TV programming for children when it comes to not recognizing Israel's existence and envisioning a future without Israel. Both Hamas and Mahmoud Abbas' PA teach children to ignore Israel's existence, emphatically reject Israel's right to exist, and anticipate its eventual destruction and replacement by "Palestine."

Jpost: John Kerry should read PMW

The Palestinians voice their true desires quite openly in Arabic, but the Western diplomats seem to not watch the Arab TV channels. There is an organization called Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) which is dedicated to monitoring Palestinian news sources and translating them from Arabic to English/Hebrew. It would have done John Kerry a great deal of good to have watched some of their clippings before blindly throwing himself into trying to force the Israelis and Palestinians to come to an agreement.

The Tower quotes "disturbing movie" translated by PMW

Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) just published a report of a disturbing movie that was uploaded to the official Fatah Facebook page last week. PMW reports that the movie boasts that the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades was formed at the behest of Yasser Arafat in 2000 and still has its “finger on the trigger.”

Fox News interviews PMW founder Itamar Marcus about PA portrayal of Jesus as Palestinian

“The PA sometimes gets so involved in its own ideology that they forget the effect it has on other people,” Marcus said. “They think that their insistence on presenting Jesus as a Palestinian will be welcomed by the Christian community, but they haven’t apparently considered that this might be something that some Christians might find offensive.”

The Commentator on PMW report: "Even Jesus has been Palestinianised"

According to PMW, Palestinians have a track record not merely of using such Christian images as a weapon in the propaganda war against Israel, but even of claiming that Jesus was a Palestinian. "As Palestinian Media Watch has documented, the PA has misrepresented Jesus for years, claiming he was not a Judean as in Christian tradition, but rather a "Palestinian," thereby claiming a Palestinian history dating back to the time of Jesus. This exhibit reinforces the pretense that Jesus was a Palestinian by visually merging the image of Jesus in classical art with pictures of Palestinians."

JNS.org cites PMW report on art depicting Palestinians as Jesus

According to Palestinian Media Watch, which has documented several previous instances of Palestinian officials misrepresenting Jesus as a Palestinian, the exhibit “reinforces the pretense that Jesus was a Palestinian by visually merging the image of Jesus in classical art with pictures of Palestinians.”

Arutz Sheva recaps PMW report on PA art exhibit

The exhibit, which will be on display at the Church of Nativity courtyard and Deheisheh refugee camp, both locations the pope is to visit, will be up throughout the coming week, according to the report in the official PA daily, which was translated by Palestinian Media Watch.

CNSNews quotes PMW research on PA depiction of Jesus as Palestinian

PMW said the exhibits both portray Palestinians as Jesus, and also “reiterate another PA message - that Palestinians suffer as Jesus did.”... According to the Bible and historians, Jesus was Jewish. His depiction as a Palestinian is not a new phenomenon; the late PLO leader Yasser Arafat controversially called Jesus “the first Palestinian fedayeen,” using an Arabic term for militant or freedom fighter. PMW has long documented the P.A. representation of Jesus as a Palestinian.

Newsmax reports on PMW story about Pope's meeting with Antisemitic Mufti

The Pope will meet Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, the most senior religious figure in the Palestinian Authority, who is described by Palestinian Media Watch as having "an ongoing record of vicious anti-Semitic hate speech, which has been condemned internationally."... PMW said that in 2012 the Mufti preached that it is Muslim destiny to exterminate Jews as part of a Muslim holy war. On another occasion, in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, he said that Jews were "enemies of Allah," and in another speech he said that the souls of suicide bombers "tell us to follow in their path."

Algemeiner recaps PMW report on Pope Francis' planned visit with Grand Mufti

PMW said that it “is confident that the Pope, a symbol of peace and tolerance, will not knowingly honor a Palestinian religious leader who promotes hatred and intolerance. PMW is confident that should Pope Francis choose to meet with the PA Mufti, he will do his utmost to impress on the Palestinian religious leader the necessity of retracting his promotion of genocide of Jews by Palestinians and the abhorrent nature of those opinions.”

Ottawa Sun: Considering PMW research, it's no surprise that 93% of Palestinians hold anti-Jewish views

Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) exposed Abbas’ repeatedly describing terrorist killers — including someone who knifed a 76-year-old — as “heroes.” PMW has posted numerous clips from official PA television, featuring Muslim clerics, children and others vilifying Jews and Israelis, as descendants of apes and pigs... Unsurprisingly, 93% of Palestinians reportedly hold anti-Jewish views, and peace eludes the region.

Breitbart: PMW research shows that PA goal is to expel Jews from all of Israel

"Warning. This is a land of a Palestinian state and the occupation to leave immediately,” said the original English on the warning notice. Palestinian Media Watch uncovered the graphic warning showing the entirety of the land of Israel on the left of the image. It was accompanied by a picture of an automatic rifle on the right.

Father of terror victim in J-Wire: PMW is an "indispensable source"

Palestinian Media Watch, an indispensable source for anyone wanting to know what the Palestinian Arabs hear from their leaders when they think no one else is listening, published a summary of the media coverage.

Jpost quotes remarks by Israeli Arab MK, exposed by PMW, that Independence Day should be called "Occupation Day"

“What happened in 1948 is not independence, but replacing English colonialism with Zionist colonialism... this should be called ‘occupation day’ and not Independence Day,” Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, the official daily of the Palestinian Authority, quoted Zahalka as saying. The article was translated by Palestinian Media Watch on Wednesday.

The Daily Caller posts PMW-exposed video: Palestinian TV teaches kids to shoot Jews

A children’s television show on a Hamas-run TV station is encouraging kids to massacre Jews when they grow up. A young girl on Al-Aqsa TV’s “Tomorrow’s Pioneers” told a child host that she wants to grow up to be a policeman so she “can shoot Jews,” according to a translation of the May 2 episode by Palestinian Media Watch.

American philanthropist in Algemeiner: Israeli Finance Minister Yair Lapid should read PMW

“I also suggest that Lapid read a few days of Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) and Middle East Research Institute (MEMRI) documented translations of the Palestinian Authority (PA) controlled TV programs, newspapers, and PA leaders’ utterances,” he (philanthropist William Langfan) wrote.

JNS recaps PMW report on PA military funeral staged for Sbarro bomber

In the wake of Israel's Memorial Day for fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism, Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) has highlighted another case of Palestinian Authority (PA) representatives honoring terrorists who have killed Israelis. PMW shows that the PA has given a military funeral to Izz Al-Din Al-Masri, a suicide bomber who detonated himself in a Sbarro pizza shop in Jerusalem in 2001, killing 15 people. Seven of the attack's victims were children, and five members of one family were killed.

The Commentator on PMW-exposed video: Hamas tells kids to shoot Jews

Watchdog organisation Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), reported that, "on the weekly Hamas TV children's program Tomorrow's Pioneers this week. The young Hamas TV host Rawan talks to a young girl in the studio named Tulin, who tells her she wants to be a police officer when she grows up. The child host directs her to the conclusion that as a police officer she would shoot "all the Jews."

Breitbart recaps PA official's call for Martyrdom, exposed by PMW

Even during the peak of Israel-Palestinian peace negotiations, Fatah official Tawfiq Tirawi said that Palestinians would not abandon violence as a potential means. According to Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), Tirawi said that negotiations are just one option and do not replace use of the "rifle."

Council on Foreign Relations blog, citing PMW material, concludes that "peace is far away"

Palestinian Media Watch reports on the latest of the endless series of PA actions that do this. On August 9, 2001, at about 2 pm, a suicide bomber named Izz Al-Din Al-Masri blew himself up in the Sbarro pizzeria in Jerusalem, killing 15 people–7 of them children, as might have been predicted in a pizza parlor–and wounding 130. It’s hard to think of a better definition of a merciless terror attack than this.

Haaretz: Washington Institute for Near East Policy confirms PMW findings on incitement

This video, for example, was played on official PA television two days before Abbas’ Holocaust comment. In it, a young girl reads a poem which includes the lines: “To war that will smash the oppression and destroy the Zionist's soul.” Earlier this week, PMW posted an update on Tawfiq Tirawi, a Fatah Central Committee member, calling for Israel’s destruction. David Pollock, an expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, has been studying the issue for several years and published a major study on incitement last September called “Beyond Words: Causes, Consequences, and Cures for Palestinian Authority Hate Speech.”

Algemeiner recaps PMW report: "Fatah depicts unity with Hamas as deal between two terror organizations"

The Palestinian Authority’s Fatah Party posted a photo to its Facebook page featuring masked fighters from its Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades and Hamas’s Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades wielding machine guns. Headlined, “Yes to unity and to ending the rift,” the Facebook post, translated by Palestinian Media Watch on Wednesday, showed how Fatah, in the green headband, and Hamas, in the yellow, present themselves to their supporters — as terrorist fighters.

The Washington Post criticizes Obama administration for neglecting to address PMW-exposed incitement

Palestinian Media Watch, which monitors the Palestinian Authority’s statements, informs us: “Several times recently, Fatah Central Committee member Tawfiq Tirawi has openly rejected coexistence with Israel and called for a ‘return to the option of one Palestine from the river to the sea.’ During an interview on Hezbollah’s Al-Manar TV, he stated that ‘the only solution before us is the historic solution presented by Fatah in 1968.’”

Israel Hayom references PMW research on PA Holocaust denial

Material provided by outlets such as Palestinian Media Watch, which has for years documented the widespread lies and incitement against Israel and Zionism within internal Palestinian discourse, casts doubt on any and all of Abbas' statements. The work of PMW and others has shown how Holocaust denial and its concomitant distortions of reality have become part and parcel of the Palestinian narrative.

The Tower, based on PMW research, concludes that "Fatah seems rooted in its past as a terrorist organization"

According to PMW, the “Palestinian Authority (PA) paid more than £60 million” to convicted terrorists in 2013. The payments are enabled by the generous aid Britain has given to the PA, amounting to “£343 million between 2011 and 2015,” paying for “salaries and bonuses to about 5,000 convicted terrorists.”

Chicago Tribune, Reuters cite PMW research on Fatah Holocaust denial

Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), an Israeli monitoring group, says both Hamas and Mr Abbas’s Fatah movement have engaged in Holocaust denial. On its website, PMW cites a Hamas TV documentary which it said alleged Jewish leaders planned the Holocaust to eliminate the “disabled and handicapped.” But the website also mentions a statement issued by Mr Abbas’s Palestinian Authority in January condemning the Holocaust and the targeting of Jews.

Washington Free Beacon on Hamas video exposed by PMW: "Our harvest is your heads"

The terror group Hamas has been running propaganda videos on its television station depicting the murder of Israeli soldiers and warning, “Our harvest is your heads.” Hamas’s Al-Aqsa TV has been broadcasting the video, according to the media-monitoring group Palestinian Media Watch.

Algemeiner on PMW video "Hamas: Our harvest is your heads"

Palestinian Media Watch on Thursday translated a chilling propaganda ad showing snipers slaughtering soldiers from the Israel Defense Force, then grabbing their dog tags, while a narrator says, “Our harvest is your heads.” PMW also translated an article in official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida that quoted Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh insisting that Hamas’ policy of kidnapping Israeli soldiers would continue under a unified government.

Breitbart recaps PMW bulletin on terrorist who complained prison interfered with his stamp-collecting

Recently released Palestinian terrorist Issa Abd Rabbo, convicted of tying up two Israeli hikers and shooting them in the head, complained recently that he couldn't maintain his stamp collection properly while in Israeli prison, reports Palestinian Media Watch.

Front Page Magazine quotes PMW material in criticizing EU funding of terror

Organizations such as Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) have time and again shown how EU funding has facilitated hate literature and hate teaching in Palestinian schools. EU money has also been used to fund anti-Semitism in the Palestinian media. In the PA broadcasts, Jews have been described as apes, rats and crows. TV discussions that negate the Jewish connection to the Land of Israel, and characterize Israelis as bloodthirsty colonialists are not only hateful, they are inimical to peacemaking and amity between Arabs, Jews, Palestinians and Israelis.

Times of Israel recaps PMW report on terrorist's complaint that prison interfered with stamp-collecting

According to a Palestinian Media Watch translation Friday, Abd Rabbo told Al Hayat al Jadida, a PA daily newspaper, in an April 8 interview, ‘I’m proud of the stamps I collected in prison, but it was difficult for me to pursue [my] hobby in prison, because there were many restrictions, few letters arrived, and the quality of the stamps. Prison also affects our hobbies, and I had no special albums to put the stamps in properly, so I put them in an envelope — the same one that left prison with me.’”

The Blaze quotes PMW director Itamar Marcus

Director of Palestinian Media Watch Itamar Marcus told TheBlaze via email on Monday, “The Palestinian Authority has poisoned an entire generation of Palestinian children to believe that murder of Israeli civilians, including children, is heroic and something that Allah desires and rewards... In order for Israel to have real peace with children who have been so poisoned we need not just successful negotiations but years of reeducation and detoxification. The longer the West funds the Palestinian Authority without conditioning it on elimination of Palestinian Authority hate messaging, the West is responsible for the terror Israel will experience in the coming years."

Times of Israel references PMW bulletin on Palestinian forest named for arch-terrorist

The March 30 event at Martyr Khalil Al-Wazir Forest was attended by dozens of officials, including Minister of Agriculture Walid Assaf, District Governor of Hebron Kamel Hamid and representatives of the PA Security Forces, as well as several mayors from the Hebron district and relatives of Abu Jihad, Palestinian Media Watch said in a bulletin Sunday.

Algemeiner reports on PMW bulletin: Hitler could have learned from Israel about concentration camps

Media watch-dog Palestinian Media Watch reported on Friday how Deputy Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee Jibril Rajoub compared the Jewish state to Hitler’s Germany... “We are living under a racist and fascist occupation,” Rajoub said. “I’m telling you, if Hitler had come [here], he would have learned from them how to oppress humans and learned from them about concentration camps, extermination camps.”

Arutz Sheva reports on story exposed by PMW: Terrorists send coded messages through PA TV

A potentially dangerous signal sent by a released terrorist to jailed terrorists through official Palestinian Authority (PA) TV has been exposed by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW).

Algemeiner cites PMW bulletin about coded messages in PA TV

According to Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), Israeli police arrested the six for allegedly ferrying messages out of jail after meeting with their clients. The responses would come via coded messages aired on the Palestinian Authority’s television station.

Jpost op-ed references PMW bulletin on PA claim that Western Wall belongs to Muslims

Jews must adamantly and proudly defend their title and free access to their holy places. This is especially crucial in light of a new report by Palestinian Media Watch showing that the PA is now setting its sights on the Western Wall.
