Jibril Rajoub's return to the public discourse in recent days has revealed the void around the image of the man who boasts the title of "Palestinian Football Association president" and who has so "kindly" deigned to withdraw the motion to remove Israel from FIFA, the international soccer federation.

Rajoub is a former terrorist and former security prisoner who received a life sentence, and previously served as head of the Palestinian Authority's Preventive Security Force in Judea and Samaria.

Rajoub has supported, planned, and carried out terrorist acts. In his view, "Israel is a cancer in the region and every grain of historical Palestine from the river to the sea will be given back to the Palestinians." He saluted Gilad Schalit's abductors and swore there would never be normalization in sports with the "wretched Zionists."

This "good Palestinian," the current darling of the Israeli media, has often used his sweet talking language of "peace" and "dialogue" and has even called for overcoming "hatred." However, at the same time, he has sworn that if the Palestinians had a nuclear weapon, they would have used it against Israel. Rajoub compared Israel's policies to Nazism and even went as far as to say that Hitler could have learned a thing or two about oppression from the Israelis.

The PA, with Rajoub as its Olympic Association head, continues to glorify the terrorists who massacred the 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics. The PA holds, under Rajoub's auspices, sports competitions in honor of arch-terrorist Abu Jihad, who was responsible for numerous terror attacks including the 1978 Coastal Road massacre, the hijacking of a bus that resulted in 37 Israeli deaths.

Courtesy of Palestinian Media Watch we have learned that Rajoub opposes any sports activity between Palestinian and Israelis, referring to it as "a crime against humanity." This is the man who posted on his Facebook page a photo of himself holding a small child with an M16 rifle and paid his respects to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by calling him, in a sportive manner of course, "you dog, you invader." Furthermore, In the name of that sportive spirit, he said the Israeli demand to hold a minute of silence to honor the memories of the 11 slain Israeli Olympians was racist."
