| Libels |
Since the Palestinian Authority was established it has systematically indoctrinated young and old to hate Israelis and Jews. Using media, education, and cultural structures that it controls, the PA has actively promoted religious hatred, demonization, conspiracy libels, etc. These are packaged to present Israelis and Jews as endangering Palestinians, Arabs, and all humanity. This ongoing campaign has so successfully instilled hatred that fighting, murder and even suicide terror against Israelis and Jews are seen by the majority of Palestinians as justified self-defense and as Allah’s will.
Throughout history bogus conspiracy accusations have been used to incite hatred, violence, and mass murder. The myriad conspiracy libels concerning Israel, Israelis and Jews are an integral part of the Palestinian Authority’s ongoing hate promotion. PA libels claim that Israel conspires to infect Palestinians with AIDS, spread drug addiction, conspired and successfully murdered Arafat, and more. The PA’s goal has been to inculcate hatred to the degree that fighting and murdering Jews and Israelis will be glorified as heroic self-defense. |

PA daily op-ed: America was behind the 9/11 attacks
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Mar. 18, 2013
Op-ed by Hassan Ouda Abu Zaher:
"'History is a great lie written by the victors' - said Napoleon Bonaparte, the source of dubious historical writing and father of Freemasonry in France. If so, is the history planted in us through TV and the standard educational curriculum indeed true? The source of this history is the West - the victor ever since the fall of Andalusia (Muslim Spain)! ...Our history is replete with lies, from lies about the corrupt [Caliph] Harun Al-Rashid, which ignore the sources indicating that he dedicated one year to pilgrimage [to Mecca] and one year to Jihad (i.e., he was a good Muslim), to the lie about Al-Qaeda and the Sept. 11 events, which asserted that Muslim terrorists committed it, and that it was not an internal American action by the Freemasons, which was mentioned in the Illuminati game cards ten years before it took place, and in over 15 Zionist and Freemason Hollywood-produced films in the 1990s. The method of repeating [the lies] over and over has authenticated false facts. Had Hitler won, Nazism would be an honor that people would be competing to belong to, and not a disgrace punishable by law. Churchill and Roosevelt were alcoholics, and in their youth were questioned more than once about brawls they started in bars, while Hitler hated alcohol and was not addicted to it. He used to go to sleep early and wake up early, and was very organized. These facts have been turned upside down as well, and Satan has been dressed with angels' wings..."

Fatah official says Hamas and Israel are working together to overthrow the PA government
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 25, 2012
| “In a statement released by the movement’s spokesman in Europe, Jamal Nazzal, Fatah expressed its satisfaction with Palestinian forces’ success exposing the collaboration between Hamas and Israel having to do with armaments. He said: ‘The occupation illegally controls areas where Hamas is hiding weapons supplied by Israel' The Fatah movement has asked that Europe pressure Israel to abandon the policy of arming Hamas that it (Israel) is carrying out in Area C where it has direct control. Fatah Revolutionary Council member Jamal Nazzal said that Hamas’ increased arms supplies and explosives stores in Area C – under the watchful eye of the Israeli army – is a joint tactic of Hamas and Israel aimed at weakening the security institutions charged with controlling those who violate the law. Nazzal said that the political background to this cooperation between [Hamas] revolutionaries and Israel is evident in the Netanyahu government’s repeated calls to overthrow the Palestinian leadership and in the aid it provides Hamas [activities] that spread anarchy, in the wake of the benefit gained by both from their shared experience in Gaza. Nazzal regards the Palestinian security system’s discovery of a secret Hamas prison as a blow to the joint Hamas-occupation project aimed at undermining Palestinian stability and furthering [Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor] Liberman’s program to replace the legitimate leadership with [leaders] subordinate to the occupation. Speaking for the Fatah movement in Europe, [Nazzal] explained that the Israeli obsession to impede the Palestinian leadership at this specific time has driven the Netanyahu government to cooperate with Hamas, which has always been willing to sell itself to the occupation." |

Israel has a "campaign of forgery" in Jerusalem which seeks to erase "Islamic and Christian landmarks"
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 18, 2012
| "The Jerusalem district [administration] published an announcement yesterday under the heading ‘Jerusalem's Archaeological Landmarks, Ancient History, and Israel's Ongoing Assault’, to inform people about some of the many archaeological, religious and historical landmarks in Jerusalem. Jerusalem District Governor, Engineer Adnan Husseini, said that the announcement comes as the city is subject to an Israeli campaign of forgery, aimed at erasing its Islamic and Christian landmarks, and highlighting its Jewish character. Husseini declared that some of the active national institutions, including the Jerusalem District, the National Committee, and the like, bear the burden of focusing attention on feverish attempts at Judaization to which these landmarks are subject." |

PA daily promotes libel: Israeli army carried out Sabra and Shatila massacre

Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 18, 2012
Headline: "Fatah on anniversary of Sabra and Shatila: the Israeli war criminals must be punished"
"The Fatah movement said the that Israeli war criminals who carried out the Sabra and Shatila massacre and all the despicable massacres of our people from the start of the colonialist Zionist scheme on our homeland Palestine’s soil until the present time, will not be able to evade punishment forever… Yesterday marked the 30th anniversary of the Sabra and Shatila massacre, that was carried out in cold blood by the Israeli army under the command of Ariel Sharon, against our people in the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps who had been uprooted from their homeland."
Note: Sabra and Shatila are Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. In 1982 during the first Lebanon War, a massacre at Sabra and Shatila was committed against Muslims by Christian phalangists in Lebanon. The PA has a longstanding policy of falsely accusing Israel of committing the massacre or actively helping to carry it out.

Israel increased entry permits for Palestinians to convince Palestinians that the PA is "useless"
Source:
Al-Quds, Aug. 26, 2012
"I can't understand why some people were so infuriated by Israel's granting permits to hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to visit Jerusalem and Israel, and about the flow of tens of thousands of Palestinians, during the holiday, to the Jaffa beach and other Palestinian beaches... As someone who is involved in what is happening on the Israeli scene, I do not believe that there is someone [in Israel] who wanted to export the Israeli economic crisis to the Palestinian side. If the Israeli decision had entailed the slightest bit of a security risk, Israel would not have agreed to place itself in danger merely in order to acquire what the residents of the West Bank might spend during their visit to Jerusalem and Israel... What does require discussion is the suggestion that Israel's goal was to strengthen the Civil Administration Authority and to create a direct connection with Palestinian citizens, because of the continued lack of political consensus between itself and the Palestinian Authority, and the refusal of the latter to return to negotiations. The goal was to convince Palestinian citizens that the Palestinian Authority is useless..."

Increased Israeli entry permits for Palestinians was planned by Israel to hurt the Palestinian economy

Headline: "Israeli merchants exploited the situation - Jaffa and Tel Aviv beaches were packed with bathers from the West Bank, while the recreational sites and parks in the West Bank longed for the good old days"
"Owners of [Palestinian] recreational sites and public parks did not anticipate the unprecedented losses during the Eid El-Fitr holiday caused by the departure of thousands of people to vacation and enjoy themselves in [Israeli] cities across the Green Line (i.e., 1949-1967 armistice line). This made them wonder about the Israeli authorities' motives for granting [Palestinian] citizens more than 180,000 permits to visit inside the Green Line. They said they believed that Israel had thereby achieved two main goals: First, it profited economically, and [second] it enhanced its image in the press and internationally, as a state enjoying security and tranquility and easing [restrictions] on the [Palestinian] residents... Samir Ibrahim (24), from El-Bireh, noted that [Israeli] shop-owners had exploited the presence of West Bank residents at this [Jaffa] beach, and raised their prices."

PA daily: Israel was involved in "Jihadist" attack against Muslim soldiers in Egypt
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 6, 2012
| "In Al-Masoura [Egyptian village near Rafah] a group of so-called 'Jihadists' attacked fasting Muslim soldiers who were perhaps doing their military service without [the option of] choosing where to serve. Under the slogan of 'Jihad' they attack, while the brain behind it connected to Satan. It would be naïve to think that the Zionist occupiers are not involved in these organizations – if not the creators of some of them. There are many benefits to the occupiers, including information gathering and exchange; issuing orders for actions aimed at reshuffling the deck; an attempt to participate in molding the future of the Sinai; and causing people [to feel] aversion to the concept of 'Jihad' in its general sense and in its specific senses. The criminal act perpetrated by a suspicious group was carried out only by spies. It is with this assumption that a phenomenon of this type should be addressed. We have experience, and many times we have seen bearded men who have been used by the occupation for dirty acts and to impede the noble national struggle." |

Kids in camp: The money we spend on Israeli products goes towards "weapons and bullets that kill Palestinians"
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 8, 2012
| “As part of the activities at the environmental summer camp (Our Garden) being held at the coeducational school in Nablus under the supervision of the Palestinian Agricultural Development Association (P.A.R.C.), the children met with Khaled Mansour, coordinator of the national campaign to boycott Israeli goods, to discuss the boycott, which is considered a national and religious duty, and a weapon that allows the Palestinian people to hurt the interests of the Israeli enemy, occupying Palestinian territory. Khaled Mansour told [the children] about the occupation’s crimes – killing, home demolitions, arrests, land confiscation, roadblocks, and settler terror – and discussed with them what they thought every person could do to oppose these crimes. The children’s answers were: resistance to the occupier; attempts to cause it damage. Some of the children said, ‘We will shoot them,’ others: ‘We’ll throw stones at them’; others still: ‘We’ll hold demonstrations’… However, the majority said: ‘We won’t buy their products until they lose…’. The children demonstrated extensive knowledge of the boycott. Some of them (aged no more than 9) said that the money they spend on Israeli potato chips, Israeli cookies and Tapuzina [fruit] juice, goes to the occupation army to buy weapons and bullets that kill Palestinians. Some of the children also said that Israeli products can cause cancer; they are often sub-standard and their expiration dates are forged. |

PA conspiracy theory accuses Israel of initiating recent Hamas missile attacks on Israel
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 19, 2012
After Hamas fired rockets into Israel, Israel responded by attacking the terrorists, three of whom were killed. The PA daily columnist accuses Israel of initiating this 5 day exchange of fire:
Headline: "The aims of the latest Israeli escalation"
Columnist for the official PA daily, Adel Abd Al-Rahman:
"The Gaza Strip area witnessed a marked Israeli escalation during the past two days… The latest aggression, which led to the deaths of three residents as Martyrs (Shahids) and the injury of many people in the southern regions… was a continuation of the Israeli aggression, and was meant to at achieve the following:
a. The aggression came at the same time as the presidential elections in Egypt, to find out how the presidential candidates would respond – and specifically the candidate of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohamed Morsi. Especially because the [Muslim] Brotherhood has devised a plan by which Hamas would heat up [with violence] the Sinai and Gaza, in order to cover up the policy of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, which is aimed at bringing the Egyptian arena under Muslim Brotherhood control.
b. The Israelis wanted to provoke the national action factions, and especially their resistance branches, to use the new rockets and weapons that they have obtained in recent months. This so that [Israeli] would discover their range and their destructive effect on the nearby towns and settlements, as well as to discover their storage sites."

PA official claims Jews and Israelis control America
Source:
Palestinian TV (Fatah), May 15, 2012
Interview with Abbas Zaki, member of the Fatah Central Committee, on PA TV program Palestine This Morning:
Zaki: "Actually we started a process of organization and precise reconnaissance, in order to start the Fatah revolution, in January '65. From then until today, 48 years of rivers of blood, sweat and tears, we have [had] ups and downs, but the enemy feels, each day that it is regressing. Each period we use a different form of struggle: At one time [we struggle] with weapons, at another time – stones, another time – empty stomachs (i.e., hunger strikes), such that we will defeat this executioner in our battle... Day after day, Allah willing, the picture will become clearer. America is not our fate. It is true that there are 6 million Jews there. It is they who vote for the President and for the Congress, and who control it. Israelis control America through those votes. We have 15 million Arab and Muslim votes. Those living in America – if 5 million of them were to vote as a bloc, it could cancel the Jewish control of the administration and of the American Congress. When there will be an American leadership that believes in the principles of George Washington and does not adhere to the decisions of the extremists in Tel Aviv, perhaps the entire equation will change, and we can begin to live for our hopes, and to turn them into facts. They will live for their diseases and for their hatred, and they will die, with Allah's permission." |

Zionism is a “colonialist enterprise” that aims to steal Arab resources and divide the Arab nation
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 12, 2012
By PA daily columnist Adel Abd Al-Rahman
Headline: "Palestinianism vs. Zionism"
"At the beginning of May, the English [online] newspaper Yediot Aharonot published an article by a Zionist full of hatred for Palestinians and Palestinianism, hostile towards peace and the solution of two states for two peoples on the borders on June 4, 1967: He is Moshe Dann, a Zionist writer and historian living in Jerusalem. Dann tried to incite against Palestinianism, to distort its real essence [as an ideology] which supports Palestinian nationalism, and tried to dress it in religious garb – even though everyone knows that Palestinian identity brings together all Palestinians, regardless of religion or ideological belief… Moshe Dann grew up in the midst of Zionist forgery and hypocrisy, and was nourished and fed with the racist Zionist ideas that were based on the Jewish religion in order to mislead Jews of different nationalities and to bring them into [Zionism's] furnace of colonial war, so as to serve its masters in the imperialist West. This was in order to spearhead the colonialist enterprise, with the aim of stealing the Arabs' resources and to act in a systematic and planned way to deepen rift and division among the peoples of the Arab nation, as a continuation of the Sykes-Picot conspiracy of 1916, and prior to that – the Campbell… Conference of 1905-1907. [In his article, Dann] wanted to reverse the picture and to dress the Palestinian national identity in Zionism's worn out, torn attire…
Moshe Dann's lies have been exposed by Prof. Shlomo Sand, Ilan Pappe, and other Jewish historians who have removed the mask from the real face of racist Zionism which is based on a narrative devoid of any foundation in history, because the Jews are not a nation, but rather members of different nations from all over the world, who believe in the Jewish religion." |

“Regional and colonialist powers” may have been behind clashes between Egyptian football team supporters

Following clashes between Egyptian football team supporters in February 2012, which led to the death of more than 70 people:
"Deputy Chairman of the Olympic Committee, [Walid] Ayoub, expressed profound sorrow over what happened at Port Said. He said, 'I believe that the matter is not related to sports.' He noted that the matter has many dimensions, and that regional and colonialist powers may be behind it, their aim being to harm the security of the Arab Republic of Egypt."

PA daily: Israel was established as “a colonialist project… with the aim of ruling the land and the Arab treasures”
Source:
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 27, 2012
Headline: "Anniversary of George Habash's death"
"Yesterday was the fourth anniversary commemorating the founder of the Arab Nationalist Movement and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Dr. George Habash. This doctor left us, leaving his fragrant memory, his national and native fragrance… George Habash was a school for the national struggle. He was characterized by great honesty and integrity… When the supervisory committees accepted some decision in the direction of a certain tactic in a certain political situation, he accepted it, sorrowfully. [His sorrow] was because he believed that the struggle against the Israeli occupiers, who established their state and their colonialist project at the expense of the Palestinian people, at the expense of its interests and at the expense of its national identity, with the aim of ruling the land and the Arab treasures – [this struggle] could only be through causing damage to the occupation, using all means of struggle, first and foremost among them the armed struggle…
May the memory of the tremendous leaders of the revolution – George Habash, Yasser Arafat, Abu Jihad, Abu Ali Mustafa, Abu Iyad… be blessed."
Note: George Habash was the founder of the terror organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). The PFLP, which rejected the Oslo Accords (1993), planned and carried out numerous terror attacks against Israeli civilians since its founding in 1967 and throughout the Palestinian terror campaign between 2000- 2005 (the Intifada).

University lecturer on PA TV program for youth: Israel “is an entity that seeks to annihilate the other side [Palestinians]”
Source:
Palestinian TV (Fatah), Jan. 15, 2012
Bassem Zbeidi, lecturer in political science at Bir Zeit University, on PA TV youth program Speak Up:
Zbeidi: "The Israeli side is not an occupation of the usual sort. It is an occupation of a very special sort. It was occupation, it is occupation, and it will remain occupation in all senses: economically, politically, psychologically, militarily, historically."
PA TV host: "In other words, [it is special] in its evil."
Zbeidi: "Of course, of course! Here I would say that it is special in the sense that perhaps it has no parallel in the world right now. It is an entity that seeks to annihilate the other side, take its place, and replace it. With no apologies – in other words, this is the main issue. We know about South Africa and other countries, and see that the oppressing side apologized to those who were oppressed, and therefore what is required of us, as Palestinians, is better awareness of the occupation's barbarity. As it is said, we must recognize the Jewishness of Israel, [but] the Jewishness of Israel means, automatically, recognition of the legitimacy of the occupation. In other words – Israel cannot be described, in my estimation, in a manner which departs from its colonialist occupation character." |
