PA TV deliberately stopped broadcast when Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon took the floor at the UN

Official PA TV broadcast live from the session dealing with the Palestinian issue at the UN Security Council meeting on Oct. 18, 2018. PA TV showed live and in full the speeches by UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nickolay Mladenov, Director-General of the B’Tselem human rights organization Hagai Elad, and Permanent Representative of Palestine to the UN Dr. Riyad Mansour. However, when Israel's Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, started his speech, PA TV ended its broadcast.

UN Security Council representative: “We will now turn to the representative of Israel.”
Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon: “Madam president, I have a few comments on that circus that has been staged today in this chamber. B’Tselem is an Israeli organization that is funded by the EU-”
Official PA TV newsreader: “Well then, our honored viewers, we have accompanied you with live coverage and a live broadcast from the [UN] Security Council, where there's a special meeting to discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian territories.
