Jibril Rajoub
Jibril Rajoub is Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee (since Feb. 15, 2017). He is also Head of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Palestinian Football Association, and Chairman of the Palestinian Olympic Committee. He is a former member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council (until Aug. 2009), the former Deputy-Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee (2009-2017), the former National Security Advisor to Yasser Arafat, rank of Brigadier-General, and the former Head of the West Bank Preventive Security Forces (1994-2002)

Jibril Rajoub was sentenced to life in prison in 1970 for throwing a grenade at an Israeli army truck. He was released in the Jibril Agreement - A deal between the Israeli government and the terrorist organization the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), led by Ahmed Jibril. On May 21, 1985, Israel released 1,150 Palestinian prisoners, including terrorist murderers, in exchange for three Israeli soldiers who had been taken hostage by the PFLP.

In 2015, the PA submitted a request to FIFA to suspend Israel, organized and promoted by Rajoub. PMW published a report, "PA sports: Prohibiting peace and glorifying terror," showing the irony of Rajoub's request, since the PA uses sports to further entrench the conflict with Israel and to send the message that murdering Israeli civilians is honorable and heroic. In 2016 and early 2017, PMW released two reports, "The Jibril Rajoub File" and "The Jibril Rajoub File: Special report for FIFA"  that showed Rajoub's support for terror and opposition to peacebuilding between Israelis and Palestinians.
Rajoub says sports is a "bridge between peoples," in public letter to FIFA

Contrary to his many statements in Arabic against any joint sports activities with Israelis, Rajoub wrote an open letter to the President of FIFA in which he spoke of sports as "a bridge between people":
"It is my great honour and pleasure to warmly welcome Palestine’s esteemed guest, Mr. Joseph Blatter, President of FIFA, on behalf of the Palestine’s sports community... We definitely believe that presenting Palestine through sports and practicing different sport games by youth, along with your boundless encouragement and enforcement have made it more possible for Palestine to realize its desired goals and aspire its promising youth with new expectations and dreams; such youth that strongly believes in the noble values and humane message of sports which can bridge the gaps between peoples and help achieving their expectations and aspirations; this is a hope that we will not give up until the last moment!"
PA official Rajoub calls Israelis "bullies" and "you Nazis"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, July 1, 2013
PA official Jibril Rajoub:
"This state [Israel] is a state of bullies. Fascists can learn a lesson from this state. This government -- there is none more brazen in human history... Anyone who joins any joint [sports] activity with the Israelis -- I'll take him off the [Palestinian Football] Association's lists, whether he is a player, coach, judge or, God forbid, a team... Did we act correctly and convince [FIFA's] General Assembly? Yes. Yes, we'll suspend their [Israel's] membership [in FIFA] and this way we'll screw them... I won't allow and won't agree to any joint game between Arabs and Israel... If a photo is published of [football star] Messi next to the [separation] fence,|the new Berlin Wall, and the new Nazis [Israelis] will be seen the way they treat Palestinians, the Palestinian players -- well, this by itself will be the highest achievement."

He has asked the Arab League to support the Olympic Committee’s position and efforts in jointly boycotting any activity for youth, whether social, tourist, or sports [activities], that Israel organizes in the occupied city of Jerusalem.”
Jibril Rajoub: Israel is committing the “Holocaust of the 21st century” on the Palestinians
Source: Al-Fajer TV (local independent Palestinian station), June 7, 2013
Deputy Secretary of Fatah’s Central Committee Jibril Rajoub held a press conference about the FIFA Congress on June 7, 2015.

Deputy Secretary of Fatah’s Central Committee Jibril Rajoub: “We are not working on the assumption that the righteousness of the [Palestinian] cause is enough. We won’t succeed while we stand against a narrative which dominates human awareness, namely the Holocaust. This group [the Jews] presents itself as a victim. I believe that what they are doing to us is the Holocaust of the 21st century, but we are not capable of spreading our narrative to the world.”

Note: Jibril Rajoub is Deputy Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee, Head of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Palestinian Football Association, and Chairman of the Olympic Committee.

PA official Rajoub: "All of Palestine - from the river to the sea - it's all occupied"
Source: Al-Kass Sports Channel (Qatar), June 2, 2013
TV host: "Mr. Jibril, does the visit of Barcelona's [football] team include a visit to the occupied lands?"
Rajoub: "They are coming to the occupied lands. All of Palestine - from the [Jordan] river to the [Mediterranean] sea (i.e., all of Israel) - it's all occupied."
TV host: "I mean the Israeli occupied lands."
Rajoub: "You mean [occupied in] 1948 (i.e., Israel's establishment)?"
TV host: "Yes."
Rajoub: "On August 3 [2013] they are coming to us. Where they go after that - I'm not responsible for them... There was a stupid Israeli attempt to do something (a sports activity) together. Of course, they try to use Barcelona as a fig leaf to hide their crimes against the Palestinian sports. "

Rajoub defends his statement about using nukes on Israel
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, May 23, 2013
PA TV program: Circle of Events. Guest: Deputy Secretary General of Fatah's Central Committee, Jibril Rajoub
PA TV interviewer: “The statements you made in Beirut on the Al-Mayadeen TV station had a lot of impact, according to them ‘We are Israel’s enemies and if we had a nuke we’d have used it…’ I hope you’ll clarify the picture because Israel condemned the [statements] and at the time the Palestinians did not.”
PA official, Rajoub: “Madam, first of all I don’t care what Israel says, I care about what serves the Palestinian people’s interests. The Palestinian people have been living under an occupation, a racist, fascist, vile, inhuman occupation, for 46 years…
I, true, the interviewer [from the Al-Mayadeen TV station] asked me and I answered in the same manner and with those words and even now I say to the Israelis, if there won’t be a reexamination of your conduct on your part, a saying in Hebrew states: ‘kill or be killed,’ we won’t be killed, we’re not Jesus, true, we come from Jesus’ apostles but we, our future and our government and our identity are being trampled under the criminal terrorist settler dogs’ feet. I’m certain that if Hitler would come again he would learn from them the art of breaking the will of the people, humiliating the people, [making the] people suffer, destroying the people and massacres...
The world today has begun to be convinced that we are a victim and that they are the criminals and hangmen. Under the rays of the sun Israel has been revealed to be a foreign and threatening body that threatens the region’s independence, threatens the world’s peace and threatens the world’s values and interests.”

Jibril Rajoub:

Many of them are in our hearts."

Marwan Barghouti – Palestinian terrorist who is serving 5 life sentences for orchestrating three shooting attacks that killed 5 people: one attack in Jerusalem (June 12, 2001) in which Greek monk Tsibouktsakis Germanus was murdered by terrorist Ismail Radaida and another unidentified terrorist, another attack at a gas station in Givat Zeev near Jerusalem (Jan. 15, 2002) in which Yoela Hen, 45, was murdered by terrorists led by Mohammed Matla, and one shooting and stabbing attack at the Sea Food Market restaurant in Tel Aviv (March 5, 2002) in which Eli Dahan, 53, Yosef Habi, 52, and Police Officer Sergeant-Major Salim Barakat, 33, were murdered by terrorist Ibrahim Hasouna. PA sports official: Moment of silence for Israeli victims of Olympic massacre in Munich would be "racism"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 25, 2012
Headline: "Rajoub expresses appreciation for Rogge's position and emphasizes that sports are meant for peace, not for racism"
"'Sports are a bridge to love, interconnection, and spreading peace among nations; it must not be a cause of division and spreading of racism between them.' With these words the President of the Palestinian Olympic Committee, Jibril Rajoub, began a special letter which he sent to president of the International Olympic Committee, Jacques Rogge. He expressed appreciation for [Rogge's] position, who opposed the Israeli position, which demanded a moment's silence at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in London. He said that his position not to politicize sports, and his determination to implement the International Olympic Charter represents a victory for freedom in sports. It should be noted that Rogge once again expressed the position of the executive office of the International Olympic Committee, which opposes the idea of holding a moment's silence during the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, to mark the anniversary of the Munich operation, which took place during the Munich Olympics in 1972."

Fatah official to Olympic Committee: Request to hold minute of silence in memory of Munich massacre "constitutes an unjustified provocation" and "demonstrates a politicization of sport"
Source: Al-Akhbar, Lebanese daily, July 24, 2012
"There are efforts by Israel to press the International Olympic Committee to have a minute of standing in silence at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. This year is the 40th anniversary of the event (i.e., Munich Massacre, 11 Israeli Olympic athletes murdered), and the Israeli activity has increased with support from the US, Australia, and Canada, to hold a minute of silence at the opening ceremony that will be held in London on Friday [July 27, 2012]. This matter caused the Palestine Olympic Committee to act quickly through correspondence with members of the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee, including the Lebanese Toni Khoury . Khoury received a letter from Chairman of the Palestine Olympic Committee [and Deputy Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee] Jibril Rajoub, which said:
‘In the name of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian athletes, we bless you…The Israeli side is endeavoring to hold a memorial [service] for the Munich event at the upcoming Olympic Games in London. This constitutes an unjustified provocation, especially since the Palestinian athlete… is exposed daily to blockades, arrest, and humiliation, and many of them have been killed. This behavior by the Israeli side demonstrates a politicization of sport. Therefore, we expect your intervention in order to eliminate this topic from the agenda of the organizing committee, especially since the office of the director of the International Olympic Committee has rejected this matter in the past; however, there are pressures from the side of the American Congress, and the governments of Canada and Australia, to discuss this matter again.
Therefore we hope that a concerted and effective effort will be made by your side to make sure that this matter is deleted, and that it will not be discussed in any way.'"

"Chairman of the Football Association and head of the Palestinian Olympic Committee, Jibril Rajoub, called to remove Israel from all world Olympic associations and committees if it continues to act stubbornly and not honor international agreements and conventions. In his speech yesterday… at a special conference on the subject of the state of Palestinian sports, held at the conclusion of the Forum of Arab Media … he emphasized that he is prepared to lead this move himself, but with the support and assistance of the Arab states. He emphasized that the term normalization does not exist in the Palestinian sports lexicon … and noted that the visit by Arab media and sportsmen to Palestine represents support and assistance, and is not considered normalization… He praised the decision of the political system to reconstruct national sports, such that it will be one of the means of resistance and will strengthen the resolve, in order to achieve the goals, in both strategic and tactical terms."
