Fatah official conveys blessings to all those who shelled Israel during Gaza conflict

Live broadcast from Nablus: Celebrations for Hamas’ 25th anniversary. Pictures of Ahmed Yassin and Ahmad Al-Ja’abari are shown on stage. District Governor of Nablus Jabrin Al-Bakri and Secretary of Fatah’s Revolutionary Council Amin Maqboul sit on stage throughout the event.
Secretary of Fatah’s Revolutionary Council Amin Maqboul:
“Dear brothers, commanders and men of the Islamic resistance movement, Hamas. Dear brothers, representatives of the national and Islamic factions. I am happy and honored to be with you on this great, historic day as the Hamas movement celebrates 25 years since its founding. This movement that has sacrificed thousands of Martyrs (Shahids), prisoners, and wounded for the sake of Palestine, for Jerusalem, and for an independent Palestinian state. Today, I am happy and honored, on my behalf, on behalf of all the factions active in national endeavors, and on behalf of the Fatah movement, to congratulate you on this blessed occasion. My brothers, dear brothers and sisters, this day would not have come about had it not been for the coherence, solidarity, and mutual assistance within our Palestinian nation, all of which was achieved after the oppressive and bloody Israeli aggression against our people in Gaza. Masses of our people came out from all places – the various cities, villages, and refugee camps of the liberated [West] Bank – in order to reinforce our nation, standing tall and strong in Gaza, and to support it, as it resisted and responded to the occupation’s aggression, aircraft, warships, and tanks – by shelling its cities and settlements. May those hands be blessed. Blessed be those hands that taught the Israeli occupier a lesson, that won victory and refuted the enemy’s claim that he was invincible.”
PFLP official praises Gazans for rocket attacks against Israel

“Popular Front Political Bureau Member Laila Khaled expressed her pride in our people in Gaza and in ‘its brave resistance that taught the Zionist enemy a lesson it will not forget, and prevented it from achieving its goals.’ Khaled spoke at a mass reception in her honor at the Rafiah crossing point. ‘You made us very proud. Our entire Palestinian nation is united behind you, for it has united through resistance, and has divided concerning negotiations and truce [with Israel]. Our refugee camps in the diaspora heard the echoes of your rockets, and said ‘We wish we were with them.’ During this latest Israeli aggression (i.e., Israel’s operation Pillar of Defense aimed at destroying terror infrastructure in the Gaza Strip in November 2012), our people in all places – in refugee camps and in the diaspora – called out ‘May Allah bless the resistance.' She went on to say, ‘I visited the grave of ‘the doctor’ (i.e., George Habash, founder of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) and I told him that I was going to Gaza, holy land that has made us all very proud. I am going to my family, to my friends, and to my people there, bringing them much love from your people, who want to return to Gaza, to Haifa, to Jaffa, to Jerusalem, to Ramallah with no need of authorization. We want to return to all of Palestine, and we will surely return to it.'"

Note: Laila Khaled - PFLP terrorist who participated in the hijacking of TWA flight 840 in 1969.
George Habash - the founder of the terror organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). The PLFP has planned many terror attacks against Israeli civilians since its founding in 1967.
Fatah military wing proud of launching 600 rockets at Israel during Gaza conflict
Source: Al-Ayyam, Dec. 2, 2012
Fatah's military wing, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades’, on their fighting Israel alongside Hamas during Israel’s Operation Pillar of Defense (November, 2012):
“Fighters from units from Fatah’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades strongly reproached the Palestinian media for not emphasizing their role and for treating them unjustly regarding their challenging the [Israeli] aggression in Gaza (i.e., Israel’s “Pillar of Defense” operation, November 2012). ‘The Palestinian media did not treat us fairly at all,’ said Abu Muhammad, press spokesman for the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades units... He went on to say: ‘...The media should have mentioned everyone and all the fighters who stood the test of battle and resistance’, and said that it was not right that the media focused on one group while ignoring the other. He said… that from the first moment after the assassination of Commander Ahmed Ja’abari, the Brigades thought to respond and avenge his pure blood. He noted that in cooperation with the Jerusalem Company, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad, they managed to fire three rockets half an hour after his death as a Martyr was announced… The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades fired 600 rockets and mortar shells towards the occupied territories during the days of aggression. He said that the Brigades announced these figures at a press conference, but the Palestinian media ignored them and related only to certain units. Abu-Yusuf, a Brigades fighter, said… that the war is over, but the Brigades’ supply of weapons and rockets is not exhausted, and we are ready for confrontation at this very moment, and we will not give up our weapons under any circumstances.”

Israel targeted sports fields during Gaza offensive because “it just wants to kill anything we love”
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 26, 2012
PA daily sports columnist Badr Makki
Headline:
“Life Returns to Gaza’s [Football] Fields”
“The sounds of aerial bombardments and artillery shells have been silenced in Gaza, and the resistance’s rocket fire on the Hebrew entity’s (i.e., Israel’s) cities has quieted. But the panic that beset the entity (i.e., Israel) will be remembered. But for the resistance, this is just a fighter’s respite, and future rounds [of fighting] won’t be like those of the past. With the outbreak of hostilities (i.e., Israel’s Operation Pillar of Defense, November 2012) the [Gaza Football] Union announced that league play would be suspended, and in entity (i.e., Israeli) cities, their union suspended league play as well. Entity (Israeli) athletes were harmed as never before… Gaza made its statement: ‘An eye for an eye’, and they [the Israelis] lived their lives in bomb shelters. Gaza was victorious because it inflicted fear. This fragile entity (Israel) was in shock, and what a shock!
… The occupation acts strangely. They bombed [football] fields – open fields from where no rockets had been launched. The occupation just wants to kill anything we love. Given our extensive sports activities in all the districts, they just don’t want us to live or to dream. But their attacks only made us stronger and more resolute…
Yes, dear [FIFA President Sepp] Blatter… I told [UEFA President Michel] Platini) and I’m telling you now. Are you going to take a stand -or at least threaten- to expel this entity from the network of honest competitions and fair play? I think they deserve a red card, and that’s it!
Peace be upon you, residents of Gaza, always.”
PA daily columnist praises Hamas rockets and bus bombing during Israel-Gaza conflict

On Nov. 14, 2012, Israel launched an aerial offensive in the Gaza Strip called Operation Pillar of Defense, with the aim of crippling the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza and protecting Israeli civilians from Hamas rocket fire. On November 21, Hamas and Israel reached a cease fire.
Columnist for official PA daily Adel Abd Al-Rahman on the cease fire:

“The cease-fire [between Israel and Hamas] went into effect sponsored and guaranteed by Egypt, with American supervision by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The advantages are as follows:
Firstly: Ending the barbaric Israeli aggression, and removing the threat of an even more despicable and bloody Israeli massacre of Palestinian people in the southern districts (i.e., Gaza Strip). [...]
Thirdly: The heroic performance of the resistance organizations (i.e., Hamas and Islamic Jihad) reacting to the barbaric Israeli war, who succeeded in:
1. Absorbing the force and strength of the Israeli attack and quickly overcoming
the moment of surprise.
2. Initiating a direct response through missiles of varying sizes and ranges,
like the Fajr 5, Grad, 107 [mm rockets], etc., launched against Israeli cities
and populated areas.
3. For the first time, Palestinian resistance missiles reached Tel Aviv, Jerusalem,
and Eilat, surprising and baffling the Israeli leaders. [...]
5. Development of the national response that even advanced to bombing operations inside Israel, as occurred on Wednesday with the bombing of a bus [in Tel Aviv], injuring 20 people – an act that baffled the Israeli leadership even more.”

PA TV host: Israel targeted children during 2012 Gaza operation
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Nov. 23, 2012
PA TV show Good Morning Jerusalem discusses psychological problems after the November 2012 war in Gaza with psychologist Yu’ad Ghanadri:
Psychologist Ghanadri: “We are a nation that loves life, and we say our children’s potential is to live.”
PA TV host: “Even though children are always being targeted during this aggression (i.e., Israel’s Operation Pillar of Defense, November 2012 which sought out terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip)?”
Psychologist Ghanadri: “Children are targeted, and we sometimes call them ‘potential Martyrs’ (Shahids) or ‘potential dead,’ and I really don’t like those terms. Our children’s potential is to live, and they can deal with stress better than adults can.”
Palestinian Writers Unions condemn the US, France, and Britain for their stances on Israel’s Gaza offensive
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 22, 2012
Headline: “General Writers Union condemns the American position on aggression against Gaza and calls for a world cultural front”
“The General Union of Palestinian Writers and the Union of Palestinian Arab Writers in Occupied Haifa condemned the position taken by the American president and his government concerning the Israeli aggression against Gaza (i.e., Israel’s operation Pillar of Defense that aimed at destroying terror infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, November 2012). It called it ‘wretched, defeatist, and biased in favor of the Israeli enemy.’ It also condemned the positions taken by a number of European countries, first and foremost France and Britain, who aligned themselves with the aggression by equating the victim with the executioner. It said that this constituted the height of hypocrisy. The notice praised the heroic acts of all factions in the Palestinian resistance and ‘the legendary strength’ of Gaza that embraced the resistance and defended it in spite of the many civilian Martyrs (Shahids), the many sacrifices made and the suffering that this aggressive war brought on. The notice said that the resistance re-inspired the Palestinian people. “

We praise and salute every hand that launched a rocket at Israel from Gaza, and every hand that threw a stone at the Israeli side in the West Bank. And here, when signing agreements, it must not be done as if the battle was between Israel and Hamas only. The battle was [between Israel] and all the Palestinians."

“In these difficult days, [living] under this oppressive attack (i.e., Israel’s Pillar of Defense operation that aimed at destroying the terror infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, November 2012) and confronting Israel’s bloody illusions, our people – by weapon and by will – has presented itself most honorably and in a way that is appropriate for itself, for its national initiative and for its just goals, first and foremost its right to an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

May Allah bless Islamic Jihad, may Allah bless Hamas. They decided to die to earn this honor... I'm in favor of a Palestinian victory in Gaza, Hamas' and [Islamic] Jihad's victory. Abbas: Israel's "aggressive and unfair war" in Gaza is meant to intensify Fatah-Hamas rift
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 19, 2012
On Nov. 14, 2012, Israel launched an aerial offensive in the Gaza Strip called Operation Pillar of Defense, with the aim of crippling the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza and protecting Israeli civilians from Hamas rocket fire. Excerpt from Abbas' speech at the PA leadership's meeting on Nov. 18, 2012:
"Israel continues its aggression for the fifth day in a row and threatens [to enter] a new phase of escalation of its military operation, something that will cause more destruction and bloodshed, and will increase the threat against the security and stability of the whole region... Through its aggressive and unfair war against our people in [the] Gaza [Strip], Israel is trying to strengthen the rift [between Fatah and Hamas] and deepen the separation between the two parts of the Palestinian homeland and soil. The Palestinian response to this aggression [should] first and foremost [be] to hurry and leave behind [us] the dark rift and restore the national unity... Besides the challenge of the aggression against Gaza, today the Palestinian people is facing additional challenges that are no less dangerous: the Judaization of Jerusalem, the expansion of the settlements and the continuous Israeli threats against the PLO in response to our UN petition [for non-member status]. Today we are all the more in need of Palestinian unity to face these challenges."

PA daily columnist demonizes Israel as a child-killer and snake
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 19, 2012
PLO Ambassador to India and PA daily regular columnist, Adli Sadeq on Israel's aerial offensive against Gaza launched on Nov. 14, 2012, aimed at crippling the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza:
Headline:
"The oppressors kill the nightingales"
"Like hidden snakes whose fangs bite in the darkness, the oppressing invaders (i.e., Israel) chase after our children. They throw fire at their tender bodies, while the little ones' hearts full of love pour forth like rivers and see hope through the holes made in the walls by the raids! They have no shame. They are very happy to be snakes that stick out their tongues and slither with malice, and then attack, thirsty and hungry for human blood and liver... The oppressors who kill the nightingales lay the foundations for a war that will last one or two hundred years, while thinking that they are achieving security for themselves. The walls of disgrace and wretchedness in our [Arab] nation are collapsing... we will not remain for long in the cage under siege. Dams, walls, [political] calculations and policies separate us from the flow of a great nation whose rulers - with scarves that became worn from waving the flag of "peace" too much - caused it [the nation] pain and filled it with a sense of wretchedness! ... Salvation will only come when the walls collapse, so that we will stay far away from their alleged "peace." Then the cloud will dissipate along with the smog in it..."

PA daily sports columnist: Revoke Israel's membership in European football union because Israel targets Palestinian children
Source: Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 19, 2012
In response to Hamas' ongoing rocket fire against Israel, on Nov. 14, 2012, Israel launched an aerial offensive aimed at crippling the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza. PA daily sports columnist Bader Maki demonizes Israel in the following open letter:
"My dear general [Michel Platini], you are currently the president of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), and the Hebrew entity [Israel] is part of this union. Are you satisfied, my brother Michel, that this entity kills our children in Gaza? ... This is what childhood is like in Palestine: it is subject to killing, torture and fear of the executioner. Isn't it a disgrace that this entity commits acts like this, while you encourage fair play and honest competition? This is part of the entity's fair play against our children. Isn't it a disgrace that this entity remains a member of UEFA, [the organization] that you preside? How can you agree [to the fact] that this entity is above the law? You sow the love of the game and its moral values, and they kill us in the cradle. Michel, you must act so that this entity will not remain in your midst. It is time for this entity to leave [UEFA]... If you follow our news from Gaza, [you can see that] they bombard our infrastructure, our stadiums and our [sports] clubs. They want to eliminate our history, our present and the future of our children... This cursed entity must be kicked out of this sports union that believes in justice and fair play. The blood of [the children] Ahmed Abu Daqqa and his friends will not have been spilled in vain only if national unity is achieved. We must achieve it to honor the souls of our Martyrs (Shahids), especially those of our children who dazzled the world with only stones and RPGs in their hands. The occupier knows them well from the Intifada and Beirut."
