Guest on PA TV: “The Zionist gang will not remove its hands from the holy sites unless it meets armed force… They showed hatred towards Jesus, and plotted to destroy and kill him”
Official PA TV program State of Politics, hosting lecturer on Islam at Al-Azhar University in Egypt Ahmed Karima
Lecturer on Islam at Al-Azhar University in Egypt Ahmed Karima: “Wage Jihad against them [the Jews] with your bodies. I say this to you in the language of the honorable religion: The Zionist gang will not remove its hands from the holy sites unless it meets armed force. When has Israel, the criminal gang, agreed to give something for nothing in return? Allah explained what is in their hearts. He said in the Quran: ‘Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it’ (Quran, Sura 5:64, Sahih International translation). Allah mentioned their acts of aggression, such as killing the prophets and messengers, and the hatred they showed towards them. They showed hatred towards Jesus, and plotted to destroy and kill him. Banu Nadir and [Banu] Qurayza (refers to Jewish tribes that Muhammad’s army attacked; see note below –Ed.) plotted against Islam’s Prophet [Muhammad] in Yathrib (i.e., Medina), and their brothers [did so] at Khaibar. They are people who do not live in peace with anyone.”
Khaibar is the name of the last Jewish village defeated by Muhammad's army in 628. Many Jews were murdered in the battle, which marked the end of Jewish presence in Arabia. There are Muslims who see this event as a precursor to future wars against Jews.
