Preacher at the Al-Aqsa Mosque [PA] Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Hussein… demanded that the Palestinian people ‘continue in resolve and Ribat (i.e., religious conflict over land claimed to be Islamic), as Allah wanted you as the spearhead of Ribat, and come to the Al-Aqsa Mosque to defy the occupation and declare before everyone that you are the defenders of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.’”

Muhammad Hussein also serves as Deputy Secretary-General and acting Secretary-General of the PLO Popular National Conference of Jerusalem.
