PA re-writes the facts: claim that the mentally ill Australian Christian who tried to set fire to Al-Aqsa Mosque was an Israeli “extremist settler”
“The data of the [PLO] Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places shows that the mosques and places of worship in Palestine have been subjected to more than 1,500 attacks since 1967… On Aug. 21, 1969, the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque was set on fire by an extremist settler of Australian origin named Michael Denis Rohan (sic., Rohan was not a “settler” but rather an Australian Christian with a mental health illness ), which, it was claimed at the time, that he suffered from a mental illness.”
