PA PM accuses Israel of implementing a “policy of Judaization”, harming Palestinian education

“[PA] Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh said that ‘We will defend our Palestinian [PA] curriculum and the right of our children in all areas to education.’

In a speech he gave at the start of the [PA] government meeting today, Monday [Aug. 15, 2022], the prime minister added that stopping the construction of the school in Ein Samia (refers to school built without a permit in Area C, land under full Israeli administration according to the Oslo Accords -Ed.) and the attempts to impose the Israeli curriculum on the Palestinian schools in East Jerusalem are two sides of the same coin – harming the Palestinian people, their narrative, and the future of their generations, as part of the policy of Judaization and uprooting…

He condemned the brutal and unjust attack that Facebook’s management is making against the Palestinian content. He demanded to stop this and respect the Palestinian content and Palestinian narrative, to treat it with neutrality and objectivity, and not to side with the Israeli occupation.”
