“The central court in Jerusalem today, Wednesday [May 20, 2015], sentenced Israeli Eliezer Ofri, 21, to 1 year in prison for the assault of Palestinian workers in Jerusalem several months ago.
According to what was posted on Hebrew websites, the court’s decision on imprisonment followed his conviction for assaulting Palestinian workers for nationalist reasons, and out of racist motivations.
Likewise, the court submitted an indictment against his two brothers, Shlomo and David Ofri, for their participation in the assault against the Palestinian workers, and a decision of the court against them has not yet been published.”
