Award named after terrorist Dalal Mughrabi given at ceremony commemorating Martyrs

"The National Association of Families of Shahids (Martyrs) in Hebron commemorated Palestinian Shahid Day yesterday, under the auspices of Hebron District Governor, Kamel Hamid, and in the presence of representatives of the government ministries, official institutions, and Members of Parliament, in addition to family members of the male and female Shahids from this district… The ceremony featured different artistic performances. There were also several speeches, by the Secretary General of the Association, Muhammad Sbeihat; MP Saher Al-Qawasmi; and Secretary of the Association in Hebron, Awad Al-Jundi. They praised the heroic role of the Shahids… At the conclusion of the ceremony, the district governor was awarded the 'Shahida [Martyr] of the Homeland, Dalal Mughrabi' Award, and honor was shown to the family members of the Shahids."

Note: Dalal Mughrabi led the most lethal terror attack in Israel's history in 1978, when she and other terrorists hijacked a bus and killed 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
