PA Minister: Israel is increasingly killing prisoners through “medical neglect”
PA TV program Palestine this Morning interviews Minister of Prisoners’ Affairs, Issa Karake:
“Since 2012 I have received [the bodies] of 12 Martyrs (Shahids) from among the prisoners, most of them [died] because of medical neglect. This is organized crime, this is terrorism. The prisons have become cemeteries, they have become a plague. Israel doesn’t respect international law. Israel wants to kill the prisoners. It sows diseases in their bodies. The rate of illnesses among the prisoners is increasing more and more. We have started finding strange and malignant diseases. The prisoners have started complaining greatly about the illnesses with which they have become sick. This demonstrates that Israel wants to turn the prisons into a means of prisoner execution.”
