Jewish history in Land of Israel erased
PA Ministry of Information accuses Israel of stealing Palestinian heritage, calls on UNESCO to try Israel for its “crimes;” Israel’s right to exist is “false” and depends solely on the Balfour Declaration
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 7, 2017
"The [PA] Ministry of Information reiterated on Palestinian Heritage Day that took place today, Saturday [Oct. 7, 2017], that our cultural and human heritage, with all of its components, will continue to resist Israelization and throw off all of the types of terror of the occupation that fabricate, distort, and steal everything Palestinian.
The ministry said in a notice yesterday that Palestine – the people, country, history, and national identity – is the first line of the defense of our heritage, and it is the resistance that does not wane due to the attempts of theft and robbery of the components of our heritage – attempts that include pursuing our popular foods, our national songs... [and] fabrication of the names of our cities, villages, ravines, mountains, and plains.
The ministry urged UNESCO ((UN Educational Scientific, Cultural Organization) and all of the frameworks that deal with heritage and culture to protect the cultural and natural heritage of Palestine, and to try Israel for its ongoing crimes against the land and mankind... 'Israel' will not succeed in skipping over history – which did not begin with its false stories, its Zionist movement, or its settlement and expansion project, which depends solely on the personal promise of the foreign secretary of another state [British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour]!”

Op-ed: Balfour Declaration was “crime against humanity,” Jews have no right to Palestine
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 1, 2017
Headline: “”A century since Balfour and a half century of settlements”

Excerpt of an op-ed by Muwaffaq Matar, Fatah Revolutionary Council member and regular columnist for the official PA daily

“Britain can celebrate a century since the promise of British Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour, whose kingdom committed a crime against humanity when it had a mandate over Palestine. It denied the Palestinian people its future in its homeland, Palestine, and gave the leaders of the colonialist, occupying, and settling enterprise in Palestine a homeland – of which the kingdom did not own [even] one grain of sand. Likewise, not one of the Jews who arrived at the beaches of Palestine in ships – as invaders or refugees from the hell of persecution in Europe – has ownership [of Palestine].”

The Balfour Declaration of Nov. 2, 1917 was a letter from British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Baron Rothschild stating that “His Majesty's government views with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.” In 1922, the League of Nations adopted this and made the British Mandate “responsible for putting into effect the declaration,” which led to the UN vote in 1947 and the establishment of the State of Israel.

Fatah official: Jewish patriarch Abraham was a Muslim, “which refutes the Zionists’ (i.e., Jewish) claims” about the Cave of the Patriarchs and the Temple Mount
Source: Al-Bawaba, Egyptian news website, Sept. 1, 2017
Headline: “Fatah leader: The [Eid Al-Adha] holiday prayers at the Ibrahimi Mosque are a challenge against the occupation”
“Fatah Movement Central Committee member and [Fatah] Commissioner for Arab and China Relations Abbas Zaki emphasized… in a statement to [the Egyptian news website] Al-Bawaba News today, Friday [Sept. 1, 2017], that… Israel is moving in the direction of unprecedented extremism, which makes it necessary to leave the deceptive illusion of peace and prepare to confront the occupation on all levels. He explained that Ibrahim (i.e., the Biblical figure Abraham), the father of the prophets, was a monotheistic Muslim (sic., in Jewish traition Abraham was the first Jew and lived over 2,000 years before Islam began), which refutes the Zionists’ claims about the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., Cave of the Patriarchs) and the Al-Aqsa Mosque (i.e., the Temple Mount). Therefore, the Arab and Islamic nation must have an active presence in order to deter the occupation and its steps against the Palestinian people, its land, and its holy sites.”

Official PA daily calls all of Israel ‘occupied’
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 15, 2017

Palestinian sports expert: A "Jewish Palestinian team" represented Mandatory Palestine in 1930s
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Aug. 14, 2017

Sports expert Saba Jarrar:
"It is impossible to claim that the [Palestine football] team that played [in the 1930s] was an Israeli team. Israel did not exist. The team that played was Palestinian, whether most of it was Jewish, Muslim, or Christian. This doesn’t invalidate that Palestine played in Australia, and in Alexandria, and so on... We cannot allow them to rewrite history and claim that this was an Israeli team. It wasn’t an Israeli team, it was a Jewish Palestinian team that played under the name ‘Palestine.’"

Head of Muslim Council in Jerusalem falsely claims that “before 1948 the Jews had no lands in Palestine”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 12, 2017
“Dozens of residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and Jerusalem held the Friday prayer yesterday [Aug. 11, 2017] in front of the house of Ayoub Shamasneh’s family, which is being threatened with expulsion and having its home taken over by the settler associations in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the center of occupied Jerusalem (i.e., the house was bought by Jews).
Head of the Supreme Muslim Council in Jerusalem Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, who gave the Friday sermon, …explained that before 1948 the Jews had no lands in Palestine. During the period of the British Mandate’s rule, Britain ruled over only 6% [of the lands], and it gave them to the Jews after the 1948 war. Today, the Israeli government rules over 80% of the lands of Palestine, and it is still investing efforts to take control of them in a number of ways.”

PLO official demands Britain apologize for "ominous" Balfour Declaration, which "gave Palestine to those who are not its residents" and led to Israel's establishment
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, Aug. 9, 2017
Headline: “Rafat called on the government of Britain to apologize on the anniversary of Aug. 10”
“[PLO] Executive Committee member Saleh Rafat said in a statement on the anniversary of the publication of the Palestine Constitution (i.e., Palestine Order in Council , 1922, officially establishing the British Mandate) by the government of Britain on Aug. 10, 1922: ‘For 100 years the Palestinian people has been suffering from the results of the ominous Balfour Promise (i.e., Declaration) that was issued in 1917. This promise gave Palestine to those who are not its residents, contributed to the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, and led to the expulsion of large numbers of the Palestinian people from within Palestine to outside of it. Therefore, the Palestinian people is still suffering from the consequences of this promise made by Britain.’”

“The Jerusalem Clubs Association on Saturday [July 8, 2017] hosted the Brothers of Acre Club Academy for a sports day that was held at the field of the Mount of Olives Club. Israeli demand to remove monument to terrorist is part of conflict between "false Zionist narrative" and Palestinian "narrative" and "identity"
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, June 25, 2017
Headline: “The Martyr Nazzal monument remains”

Excerpt of an op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for the official PA daily

“At the height of the heated conflict between the [Palestinian] national narrative and the false Zionist narrative that contradicts history and geography, the extremist Zionist leadership of Israel is attempting to ‘dissolve’ the national narrative by persecuting its symbols…  [Israel] will not stop with the removal of the Martyr Khaled [Nazzal (i.e., terrorist, responsible for murder of 31)] monument, but rather will continue to extort us regarding our identity, our names, our birthdates, and the livelihood of our prisoners and their relatives. Every time that we retreat before it in the name of the superficial argument of flexibility and cutting corners, it will persecute us until we turn into slaves of its colonialist narrative’s will and logic.”

Palestinian paper denies Israeli sovereignty, calls towns in the Gaza Envelope in Israel “settlements”
Source: Al-Quds, June 24, 2017
Headline: "Gaza’s sewage is streaming toward the Gaza Strip envelope settlements"

"Head of the Gaza Envelope Settlements (i.e., in Israel near the border with the Gaza Strip) Regional Council Yair Farjun (i.e., head of the Hof Ashkelon regional council) has sent a letter to Israeli Minister of the Army (i.e., Defense) Avigdor Liberman and [Israeli] Minister of Environmental [Protection] Zeev Elkin, in which he warned against disastrous environmental events about to occur in the region if the reduction in the electricity [supplied] to Gaza continues."

In early June 2017 Israel decided to reduce the electricity supply to the Gaza Strip at the request of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, who sought to pressure Hamas by saying he will no longer pay for the Gaza Strip’s electricity.

PA Ministry of Information falsely claims Israel has honored Baruch Goldstein, who murdered 29 praying Palestinians, by naming streets after him
Source: WAFA, official PA news agency, June 20, 2017
Headline: “[PA] Ministry of Information: Netanyahu does not cease to incite and is doing nothing for peace”

“The [PA] Ministry of Information today (Tuesday) [June 20, 2017] said that it is monitoring Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements against [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas regarding what he called ‘ poisoning the minds of Palestinian youth,’ his demand to ‘educate for peace, not terror,’ and his attack on naming a square after Martyr (Shahid) Khaled Nazzal (i.e., terrorist, planned murder of 31 ) in Jenin.
The [PA] ministry added in its announcement that the government of Israel, and its leader Netanyahu, do not cease lethal incitement and to pay money for the defense of Israeli murderers, criminals, and terrorists.
It continued: ‘The incitement from the occupation prime minister is the recycling of an occupation discourse packed with fraud and fabrication, while ignoring that Israel is proud of murderers and criminals from among its army and its settlers who have committed crimes against humanity against the members of our people since 1948, have committed barbaric massacres, have completely erased hundreds of cities and villages, and are continuing on the same path throughout the Palestinian land.’

PA TV: Israel a “destructive colonialist project” established through Britain’s “great fraud and deception”
Source: Official PA TV Live, June 15, 2017
Official PA TV Live program The TV Dictionary, on the Al-Fida'iya Association

“The Al-Fida'iya Association is considered the first Palestinian military association, even though the armed activity against the Zionist project began in 1886, when Palestinian residents that were thrown out of the village of Mulabbis attacked the homes of the settlers that were built on the lands of their village (i.e., Petah Tikva). The Al-Fida'iya Association began to operate in 1918, after Britain occupied Palestine. The association established branches in Palestinian cities such as Jerusalem, Gaza, Nablus, Hebron, Tulkarem, and Ramle .
Muhammad Al-Dabbagh led the organization, and afterwards he was replaced by Mahmoud Aziz Al-Khaledi, and the organization had a secret advisory council whose members included: Haj Amin Al-Husseini (i.e., Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who collaborated with Adolf Hitler), Sheikh Sa’id Al-Khatib, [and] Hassan Abu Al-Saoud … The organization operated in complete secrecy…
This organization acted to prepare the comprehensive revolution against the British occupation, and to resist the Zionist project, and was especially interested in disseminating the principles of Arab unity. The Al-Fida'iya Association provided small arms to its members and prepared lists with the names of the Zionist leaders.
[The organization] established a unit for the purpose of monitoring what was happening and being published in the press (i.e., a type of intelligence service)… and even though the general view regarding Britain at the time basically assumed that Britain was an ally of the Arabs… afterwards Britain’s great fraud and deception were exposed, which led to the establishment of a destructive colonialist project that shattered the hopes of the Arab nation, and imposed an oppressive occupation from whose disastrous results the whole region is still suffering from to this day.

Fatah denies Jewish history: Jews have no historical right to “claim ownership over land or settle in it”
Source: Official Fatah Facebook page, June 5, 2017
Link to op-ed article and text from the article posted on the official Fatah Facebook page

Posted text: “We explicitly note that it is forbidden for any member of the Jewish religion to claim yesterday or today that he has a national, genetic-hereditary, or tribal connection to the Arab Yemenite Children of Israel who have disappeared from the world. It has already been proven scientifically to those who claim this that there is no such connection (sic., research has proven Jews share such connections and Yemenite Jews still exist -Ed.), and so too regarding the claims about a land or wall (sic., there is abundant archaeological evidence proving the Jewish connection to Israel and the Western Wall –Ed.).
We say that no one today has the right to claim ownership of any place that is considered in their eyes as holy or a place that is forbidden to enter for anyone other than them, as in the case of the lies of the Promised Land, the Holy Land, and the Chosen People. Otherwise, all of the Christians of the world would come to live in Palestine, as it is holy to them, which is something that has never doubted, and it is likewise holy to the Muslims. An ancient example of this is the wars of the Europeans - the invaders called Crusaders – which were waged in the region.
Therefore, no members of any religion, and particularly the Jews who currently are comprised of a number of different nationalities, have a right to claim ownership over a place, to conquer it, and to settle in it, or to claim that its sanctity grants them ownership over it and allows them to steal it to establish their state in it.”

PLO invents Palestinian history, denies Jewish history: “Our people has lived for thousands of years, Israel has no connection”
Source: Ma’an, independent Palestinian news agency, June 4, 2017
Headline: "The National Council: The international community must demand an accounting from Israel"

"The Palestinian National Council (i.e., the legislative body of the PLO) said in a notice that it published today (June 4, 2017) for the passing of 50 years since the Naksa (i.e., "the setback," Palestinian term for Israel's victory in the Six Day War) of Palestine… that occupied Jerusalem, with all of its sites that are holy to Christianity and Islam, its Al-Aqsa Mosque, its Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and all of its cultural and human heritage, is the eternal capital of the Palestinian people, the land of the forefathers, in which our people has lived for thousands of years. It is purely Palestinian land to which Israel has no connection…
The Palestinian National Council emphasized again the continuation of the Palestinian struggle in all its means and forms (i.e., including violence) against the Israeli occupation until the achievement of all of our legal rights – the right of return and the right to establish an independent and sovereign state whose capital is Jerusalem on the borders of June 4, 1967."

PA Observer to the UN distorts facts: “Zionist terror organizations massacred 400 cities and villages in 1948”
Source: WAFA, official PA news agency, May 17, 2017
Headline: “Mansour sent the UN a letter about the Nakba”

“Permanent Observer of Palestine to the UN Ambassador Riyad Mansour sent three identical letters to the three heads of the UN: the UN CEO, this month’s president of the Security Council (Egypt), and the chairman of the General Assembly. In the letters he noted that May 15, 2016 was the 68th anniversary of the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) in 1948.

In his letters, Mansour explained that 68 years ago more than 800,000 Palestinians were uprooted, expelled from their homes and lands, or fled out of fear for their lives, after the Zionist terrorist organizations perpetrated barbaric massacres in more than 400 cities and villages in Mandatory Palestine, in a clear act of ethnic cleansing… [He added:] ‘Today, the Palestinian Nakba continues. Millions of them live in the Diaspora as refugees, without receiving their inalienable right to return to their homes, or continue to live in the State of Palestine, including in East Jerusalem, under Israeli military occupation for nearly 50 years. They are forced to suffer the constant violations of their human rights and endure more loss of life and property, in addition to indescribable suffering and difficulty.’ Ambassador Mansour noted that on Nakba Day, ‘we must again emphasize the Palestinian refugees’ right of return, a collective and personal right according to UN resolutions, and especially resolution 194 of the General Assembly. This right does not expire as time passes, and honoring it is basic to achieving a just and permanent solution to the conflict.’”

Fatah Deputy Chairman: The establishment of Israel was “greatest crime” and “plot woven by a number of parties”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 16, 2017
Headline: "Nablus: Marking the anniversary of the Nakba by remembering the [hunger] striking prisoners"

"Residents of Nablus yesterday, Monday [May 15, 2017] marked the 69th anniversary of the Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) of the Palestinian people and its uprooting from its land in 1948.
Fatah Movement Central Committee member [and Fatah Deputy Chairman] Mahmoud Al-Aloul and Nablus District Governor Akram Al-Rajoub participated in the ceremony to mark Nakba Day in the center of Nablus
Al-Aloul said: 'The Nakba event is a memorial day for the greatest crime in history against the Palestinians and the plot woven by a number of parties in order to occupy our land and expel us from it. This is the land of the holy sites, and we will not concede our cause and our struggle to realize the goal of the Palestinian people to return to its homes.'
He added: 'We guard the keys of return and will pass the idea from generation to generation in order to protect the right to adhere to return.’"

Palestinians commemorate Nakba Day on May 15, the day after Israeli Independence Day. On May 15, 1948, combined forces from Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq joined Palestinian Arab forces in an attempt to eradicate the newly-established State of Israel. The Nakba (i.e. "the catastrophe) refers to the displacement of Palestinians that occurred as a result of this Arab war of aggression against Israel.

PA Radio: Lod, Haifa, and Ramle (i.e., Israeli cities) are "my land and not the land of the Jews"

The Voice of Palestine, the official PA radio station, song in honor of Nakba Day

“My land was green and covered in a green garment,
It never knew sadness,
But after what happened everything changed to bitterness,
After they [the Jews] walked [on it] with their feet, the singing turned into sadness.
O Lod, Haifa, and Ramle (i.e., Israeli cities), my land and not the land of the Jews,
In a moment it became occupied.”

PA Education Minister rejects changes in schoolbook maps to include Israel: Palestinian symbols and identity will be “erased” if we educate about the “Israeli occupation”
Source: Amad, independent Palestinian news website, Mar. 21, 2017
Headline: "Saidam: We will not allow any change of the [PA] Ministry of Education's curricula by UNRWA"

"[PA] Minister of Education Sabri Saidam emphasized that he adheres to the Palestinian curriculum as formulated by the [PA] Ministry of Education, and that he will not allow any change to the curriculum by UNRWA (UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East). Saidam said this in a letter that he sent to one of the participants in a meeting convened by the Central Council of Parents in the Gaza Districts and [the Council of Parents] in the Maghazi Refugee Camp…
The meeting participants discussed UNRWA's attempt to change the curriculum for grades 1–4 in the UNRWA schools.
Chairman of the Council of Parents in Maghazi and member of the Central Council of Parents in the Gaza Districts Wasef Abu Mashayekh explained the dangers of UNRWA changing the curriculum. He emphasized that the goal behind this is to erase the Palestinian identity. He also noted that the goal of these changes is to erase all of the Palestinian national symbols and features and harm the philosophical, moral, and national foundations of the curriculum, and first and foremost to erase the map of Palestine (i.e., the PA map of Palestine that presents all of Israel as "Palestine" together with the PA areas –Ed.) and its name, to establish the existence of the 'Israeli' occupation on the Palestinian land, and [to claim] it has a right."

Guest on PA TV: Hebrew word "Gilboa" is "Arabic-Canaanite-Palestinian" name stolen by Israel
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Mar. 16, 2017
Official PA TV program Palestine This Morning, on the launching of the National Flower of Palestine – Gilboa Iris campaign, hosting Green Life Association Chairman Faisal Zakarneh

Green Life Association Chairman Faisal Zakarneh: “This is a flower that grows in the Gilboa Mountains (i.e., in northern Israel). At this opportunity, let me explain that Gilboa is an ancient Palestinian-Canaanite-Arabic word, and not Hebrew-Israeli. This needs to be clear. In our minds [the name Gilboa] is connected to the Gilboa Prison... but the occupier has always made us used to him using our language and stealing it and its Arabic-Canaanite-Palestinian names.”

Mount Gilboa has been the Hebrew name of the location since Biblical times, and notably appears in Samuel 1 Chapter 31 as the location where Saul, the first king of Israel, died in battle.
