Jibril Rajoub
Jibril Rajoub is Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee (since Feb. 15, 2017). He is also Head of the Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Palestinian Football Association, and Chairman of the Palestinian Olympic Committee. He is a former member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council (until Aug. 2009), the former Deputy-Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee (2009-2017), the former National Security Advisor to Yasser Arafat, rank of Brigadier-General, and the former Head of the West Bank Preventive Security Forces (1994-2002)

Jibril Rajoub was sentenced to life in prison in 1970 for throwing a grenade at an Israeli army truck. He was released in the Jibril Agreement - A deal between the Israeli government and the terrorist organization the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), led by Ahmed Jibril. On May 21, 1985, Israel released 1,150 Palestinian prisoners, including terrorist murderers, in exchange for three Israeli soldiers who had been taken hostage by the PFLP.

In 2015, the PA submitted a request to FIFA to suspend Israel, organized and promoted by Rajoub. PMW published a report, "PA sports: Prohibiting peace and glorifying terror," showing the irony of Rajoub's request, since the PA uses sports to further entrench the conflict with Israel and to send the message that murdering Israeli civilians is honorable and heroic. In 2016 and early 2017, PMW released two reports, "The Jibril Rajoub File" and "The Jibril Rajoub File: Special report for FIFA"  that showed Rajoub's support for terror and opposition to peacebuilding between Israelis and Palestinians.
Fatah official calls to implement same “peaceful and non-violent“ policies towards Israel as towards South Africa, compares Trump to “colonialist“ Balfour
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 18, 2017
“Fatah Movement Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub demanded to strengthen the solidarity with our people, by the international community taking decisive steps regarding Israel.
Rajoub emphasized that the time has come for the same policy that succeeded in South Africa to be implemented, and the same peaceful and non-violent methods that the solidarity movements and states throughout the world use should be implemented.
He added that the time has also come to impose sanctions on those who violate the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
He said this during his participation in the 54th election conference of the ruling party [in South Africa], the African National Congress, on behalf of the PLO and Fatah, and as [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas’ representative… He asked: ‘Who is [US President Donald] Trump to determine the status of Jerusalem [by recognizing it as Israel’s capital]? One hundred years ago a British colonialist [Foreign Secretary] called Arthur James Balfour decided to give Palestine, which was not his land, to a movement that is not affiliated with our land (i.e., the Zionist movement.) We say to them - Jerusalem is not yours. Jerusalem is holy to the three monotheistic religions, and it is occupied land according to international law.’”

Fatah official against Trump deciison on Jerusalem: Jerusalem must be called Al-Quds, there will be a "volcanic eruption"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Dec. 13, 2017
Official PA TV, special broadcast, hosting Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub

Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub: “Since the first day we have said that the role of the US has ended (i.e., following US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital; see note below.) [PA President] brother Mahmoud Abbas spoke and said [this], right? Regarding the subject of the US and the subject of the American role, the US is the one that distanced itself… We need struggle and resistance that will maintain the flame which contains hope, and it needs to burn this occupation, end it, and sweep it away… However, we will not agree that the US will be the sole mediator on behalf of the world after what it did… I hope that after today none of us will say Jerusalem [in English] or Jerusalem [in Hebrew]. Its name is Al-Quds, and we must assert the word Al-Quds, so that they will say Al-Quds in all the languages and not say Jerusalem… They cannot understand that in every one of us there is a small Arafat. He threw a rock towards water he thought was still, but discovered that there is a volcanic eruption there and a situation in which the sparks blew up in his face.”

Palestinian reactions to US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital: “A knife in the back,” “It will bring disgrace and destruction on the region,” “A clash is anticipated”
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Dec. 7, 2017
“Fatah Movement Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub said… that the transfer of the [US] embassy proves to us clearly that [US President Donald] Trump’s administration is not objective in its relations with the two sides in the struggle, is not balanced, and does not view Jerusalem as occupied territory…
Palestinian [PLO] Ambassador to Washington [and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Strategic Affairs] Husam Zomlot said that American President Donald Trump’s decision regarding Jerusalem is a knife in the back and a bullet that kills the two-state solution…
The Al-Azhar Institutes in Palestine said: ‘The decision to transfer the American embassy to Jerusalem cannot pass in quiet. It will bring disgrace and destruction on the region, and it is the beginning of the end of the injustice that the US, Israel, and their helpers are causing.’ They emphasized that ‘A clash with the oppressor and oppressors is anticipated for Jerusalem – with all of its men, women, Murabitin (i.e., those carrying out Ribat, religious conflict/war to protect land claimed to be Islamic), and lovers.’”

Fatah offiical glorifies Arafat; "The struggle [will be waged] through all of the types of operation, not just the rifle"
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Nov. 11, 2017
Official PA TV, on the 13th anniversary of the death of former PLO and PA Chairman Yasser Arafat, interview with Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub

Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub: "Our culture and idea as Fatah members, led by our teacher and master, the great Yasser Arafat, [is] that the struggle [will be waged] through all of the types of operation, not just the rifle – the rifle, university, school, coach, athlete, and everything that is connected to the components of a state. When you come to talk, you talk about someone who thinks – he doesn’t resist in order to take revenge, he resists because he wants to triumph. He resists because he wants to live. I think that this is one of the secrets of Yasser Arafat’s greatness, and we need to adhere to this…"

Rajoub began his speech by saying that ‘we [stand] today before a real problem, which is connected to the latest FIFA decision – a decision that completely contradicts FIFA’s laws and regulations, and also contradicts the recommendations of the FIFA congress’ appointed committee. This is contempt for the decisions of the [UN] Security Council…’ Rajoub continued: ‘FIFA is shirking its responsibility in the latest topic, and in recent years the new FIFA president has tried to stall and avoid this topic.’”

Senior Fatah official Rajoub: Israel “works according to a fascist governmental plan, a government that is typical of Nazism”
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Oct. 29, 2017

Fatah Central Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Palestinian Football Association (PFA) Jibril Rajoub:
"This is a blatant violation when they [Israelis] organize an official [football] league on lands that are not Israeli lands. Even the Israel [Football] Association did not dare to claim: “These lands belong to us.” The one [Israel] who brings in politics and makes sport political is the one who works according to a fascist governmental plan, a government that is typical of Nazism. We have rights, and we will continue to demand them at the FIFA court in accordance with all the laws and regulations, and also the laws of Switzerland where FIFA is located."

State of Politics, hosting Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub

Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub: "[Abbas' speech at the UN] was by an angry leader, not a desperate one. He did not curse anybody. He even talked about the racist and fascist villains politely, as befits a leader. I say to our brother Fawzi Barhoum (of Hamas): Abbas is speaking to a world a part of which is convinced that the fascist occupation is the victim and we are the criminals. Indeed, this is a fascist and racist occupation, and what is happening in the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem is a distorted model, even for the Nazis."

On PA TV, Fatah official denies mentioning Israeli sovereignity at the Western Wall
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, June 5, 2017

Official PA TV interviewed Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub about his interview with Israeli TV Channel 2 on June 3, 2017, in which he said the Western Wall will remain "under Jewish sovereignty"

Fatah Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub: "East Jerusalem will be under the full sovereignty of the Palestinians to the last centimeter, and our capital will be East Jerusalem... It was a long interview [on Israeli TV], 36 minutes of which they released 12 minutes, and it is clear that several of the central points [were cut] in editing... [I said on Israeli TV]: ‘When he [Trump] went to the Wailing Wall, he went alone, and did not agree that any one of you [Israelis] would come. That’s also a message to you, even though it’s holy to you.’ [Israeli interviewer] asked: ‘Will you agree to Israeli sovereignty [there]?’ I told her: ‘No way. If Trump doesn’t recognize your sovereignty there, I’m supposed to agree?’ Of course this part – "
PA TV host: "Was left out..."
Rajoub: "What I said is: 'Jewish religious supervision.’ I am issuing a challenge, even in the transcript, is it written that I said ‘Israeli sovereignty.''"

Fatah official denies statement about Jewish sovereignty at the Western Wall
Source: Facebook page of Jibril Rajoub, Secretary of the Fatah Central Committee, June 4, 2017

Posted text: “In the name of Allah the Merciful,
‘O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful’ (Quran, Sura 49:6, Sahih International translation). Allah spoke the truth.
Several hostile news websites and writers for hire have reported that I renounced the Al-Buraq Wall (i.e., the Western Wall of the Temple Mount) or Jerusalem in a TV interview in Hebrew. What I said was that when [US President Donald] Trump visited the Al-Buraq Wall, which is holy to the Jews, he did not agree that any Israeli would accompany him (sic., Western Wall Chief Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz accompanied him), and that this constitutes a message that he does not recognize the legitimacy of your (i.e., Israel’s) sovereignty over the site. That is all that I said on [Israeli TV] Channel 2, and I did not mention the word sovereignty or Israel at all (sic., Rajoub said the Western Wall will remain under “Jewish sovereignty,” see note below). Those were my words, as I said them. Ignore the dogs, because despite the barking, the convoy will definitely pass.”

During an interview with the [Lebanese] Al-Mayadeen [TV] channel, Al-Ghoul officially called on Fatah to publish a notice regarding Rajoub’s latest statements.
It should be noted that Rajoub said during an interview with the Hebrew [Israeli TV] Channel 2 that ‘The Al-Buraq Wall belongs to the Jews, and Zionist sovereignty will apply to it, while the Al-Aqsa Mosque belongs to the Palestinians (see Rajoub’s actual statement below –Ed.).’”
