Abbas rep. and Fatah official commemorated terrorist Abu Jihad at rally held in his honor

Headline: Hebron: “Army pensioners mark anniversary of the Martyrdom death of Abu Jihad”
“The National Council of Military Pensioners in Hebron organized a national rally marking the anniversary of the Martyrdom death of the leader Khalil Al-Wazir (Abu Jihad), and Palestinian Prisoners' Day, at the Academic Association hall in the city… The rally included a speech by [district] governor Hussein Al-A'raj, representing President Mahmoud Abbas, and by Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki… The speakers enumerated the virtues of the Martyr commander Abu Jihad in the context of the Palestinian and worldwide liberation movement. They also emphasized the need to unite around the issue of the male and female prisoners in the occupation prisons, and to act for their liberation."

Note: Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks killing 125 Israelis. This included the most lethal in Israeli history, the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
