PA Ministry of Prisoners’ Affairs: 1/3 of Palestinian prisoners belong to Fatah, 22% to Hamas

“In a report published by the Ministry of Prisoners’ Affairs in the wake of 26 prisoners being released from occupation prisons, that focused on the prisoners’ cause and their numbers, it was noted that the total number of prisoners is 5,000 – one third belong to Fatah, 22% to Hamas, 10.3% to the Islamic Jihad, 7.3% to the Popular Front, and 2.2% to the Democratic Front.”
