Senior Fatah official: “Our commitment to the cause of the Martyrs (Shahids) and prisoners is firm and not up for bargaining”
"Fatah Movement Central Committee Secretary Jibril Rajoub said that our commitment to the cause of the Martyrs (Shahids) and prisoners is firm and not up for bargaining.
Rajoub added yesterday [May 10, 2018] in a statement that this commitment, starting from the outbreak of the Palestinian revolution and until this day, will not succumb to pressures, threats, or bargaining. He also said that the commitment to this just cause is a national commitment deriving from our obligation and responsibility to our people and its cause, and that any attempt to harm this cause has not succeeded and will not succeed in the future. In addition, he emphasized the appreciation of our people and its leadership for this sector that has sacrificed for the cause and independence."
Jibril Rajoub also holds the positions of Head of the PLO Supreme Council for Sport and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Palestinian Football Association (an independent NGO), Chairman of the Palestine Olympic Committee, and Chairman of the Palestinian Scout Association (PSA).
