“The Israeli censorship permitted the publication yesterday [May 29, 2016] of details of the arrest of members of a Hamas cell that is behind the blowing up of a bus in occupied Jerusalem a number of weeks ago [April 18, 2016], which caused the injury of 19 Israelis… The one who carried out the operation in Jerusalem, Abd Al-Hamid Abu Sorour, died as a Martyr (Shahid) from his serious injuries that resulted from the bomb’s explosion.”
Jerusalem line 12 bus bombing – On April 18, 2016, a Hamas terrorist, Abd Al-Hamid Abu Sorour, 19, carried out a suicide bombing attack when he placed a bomb on bus no. 12 in the Talpiot neighborhood in southeast Jerusalem. 21 people were injured in the attack. Abu Sorour died of his injuries a few days later in an Israeli hospital.
