as victims of Israeli attacks

Terrorist attacks with cars were "accidents"

To the Palestinian public, Abbas' official Palestinian Authority TV has presented five Palestinian murderers as "Martyrs." Israel's shooting of these terrorists - either during their attacks on Israeli civilians or while trying to apprehend them later - was described by PA TV as "Israel's attacks against our people." PA TV avoided mentioning the terror attacks altogether, and referred to recent attacks in which terrorists deliberately ran people over as "accidents" and "incidents."

Completely ignoring the fact that two terrorists armed with guns, knives and axes murdered five people in an attack against worshippers in a Jerusalem synagogue, PA TV included their deaths in the list of "Israeli attacks." The fact that the terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli Security Forces that arrived at the synagogue was not mentioned. PA TV described them as victims:

PA TV newsreader: "The latest reaction to Netanyahu's policy and means was the death of two Palestinians as Martyrs (terrorists who murdered 5 in synagogue) from occupation police fire in West Jerusalem (image from terror attack at Jerusalem synagogue is shown in the PA TV studio - Ed.)"

The following is the full report on official PA TV News on Israel's "attacks" on Palestinians who were in fact terrorists who had murdered or seriously injured civilians:

PA TV newsreader: "Here are the most prominent attacks Israel carried out against our people in occupied Jerusalem in October [2014]: The death of Abd Al-Rahman Al-Shaloudi as a Martyr (terrorist who ran over and murdered 2). The death of Mutaz Hijazi as a Martyr (terrorist who tried to murder Rabbi Yehuda Glick) and the wounding of other [Palestinians] by shots fired by the occupation police in Silwan... And in November [2014], the death of Ibrahim Al-Akari as a Martyr (terrorist who ran over and murdered 2) in Sheikh Jarrah after a run-over incident... The latest reaction to Netanyahu's policy and means was the death of 2 Palestinians as Martyrs (terrorists who murdered 5 in synagogue) from occupation police fire in West Jerusalem (image from terror attack at Jerusalem synagogue is shown in the PA TV studio - Ed.)"

[Official PA TV, Nov. 18, 2014]

The terrorists mentioned above as victims of "Israeli attacks" carried out the following attacks:

On Oct. 22, 2014, Al-Shaloudi deliberately ran over people waiting at a light-rail station in Jerusalem with a car, killing a three-month-old baby and a young woman, and injuring 7 others. He was shot by Israeli police officers while attempting to flee, and later died of his wounds.

On Oct. 29, 2014, Mutaz Hijazi, a member of the Islamic Jihad terror organization and released prisoner, attempted to assassinate Rabbi Yehuda Glick, a prominent activist working to assure rights for Jews to visit and pray on the Temple Mount. Glick was seriously wounded in the attack. Hijazi was killed soon afterwards when he opened fire on an Israeli police force that was attempting to arrest him.

On Nov. 5, 2014, Ibrahim Al-Akari, a Hamas terrorist, ran over people waiting at a light-rail station in Jerusalem, killing two and injuring at least 13 others. He was shot and killed by Israeli police officers who arrived on the scene.

On Nov. 18, 2014, Ghassan and Uday Abu Jamal entered a synagogue in WestJerusalem and attacked worshippers with guns, knives and axes, killing 4 rabbis and a police officer. 7 people were injured, 3 of them seriously. The terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli Security Forces that arrived on the scene.

Palestinian Media Watch has documented that Abbas himself has honored the shooter of Rabbi Yehuda Glick, his advisor has honored the terrorists who killed people by running them over with carsand glorified the synagogue murderersand Fatah officials have explained away Abbas' condemnationof these murders, saying Abbas had no other choice due to pressure from the international community.
