PA and Fatah continue to glorify murderer of 3
on Jerusalem bus

Palestinian terrorists Baha Alyan and Bilal Ghanem boarded a bus in Jerusalem this past October with a gun and a knife and murdered Chaim Haviv (78) and Alon Govberg (51), and Richard Lakin (76). Alyan was shot and killed by an Israeli security guard at the scene and Ghanem was captured and is serving 3 life sentences.

Early this morning Israel gave over the body of terrorist Alyan for burial. WAFA, the official PA news service, honored the terrorist writing that:

"Martyr Baha Alyan ascended to Heaven last Oct. 13 [2015], after he carried out a stabbing and shooting operation together with prisoner Bilal Ghanem on an Israeli bus."
[WAFA, the official PA news agency, Sept. 1, 2016]

Significantly, the PA news agency assumes that stabbing Israeli civilians on a Jerusalem bus makes Alyan worthy of "ascending to Heaven."

Fatah posted on its Facebook page the picture of the terrorist, calling him a "heroic Martyr":

"May Allah have mercy on Baha and all of our heroic Martyrs. Glory kneels before you."
[Official Fatah Facebook page, Sept. 1, 2016]

In addition, Fatah today reposted a text written by Alyan before he went on his terror attack expecting to be killed, which he called the "The 10 commandments of every Martyr" including the wish that his son also should "die for his homeland":

4. "Do not sow hatred in my son's heart. Let him discover his homeland and die for his homeland, and not in order to avenge my death.
5. If they [Israel] wish to demolish my home, let them do so, since the stone is not more precious than the soul created by my God.
6. Do not grieve over my Martyrdom-death, grieve over what will happen to you after I am gone. [...]
10. I will see you in Paradise."
[Official Fatah Facebook page, Sept. 1, 2016]

Recently, Palestinian Media Watch exposed that the Palestinian Scout Association named a leadership course for scouts after Alyan. Alyan has also been honored by "chains of readers" in severalbPalestinian
universities.

The following are longer excerpts of the articles and social media posts honoring terrorist Baha Alyan after his burial:

Headline: "A funeral was held for Martyr Alyan towards morning"
"Today, Thursday [Sept. 1, 2016], the body of Jerusalem Martyr (Shahid) Baha Alyan was buried early in the morning... after being held in captivity for 324 days in the [morgue] refrigerators of the occupation...
Martyr Baha Alyan ascended to Heaven last Oct. 13 [2015], after he carried out a stabbing and shooting operation together with prisoner Bilal Ghanem on an Israeli bus in the settlement of Armon Hanatziv (i.e., southeastern neighborhood in Jerusalem)."
[WAFA, the official PA news agency, Sept. 1, 2016]

Posted text: "The occupation (i.e., PA euphemism for Israel) is transferring the body of Martyr [Baha] Alyan on condition that [only] 25 people will participate in the burial, and that a fine of 20,000 shekels will be paid. May Allah have mercy on Baha and all of our heroic Martyrs. Glory kneels before you."

Text on image: "Baha, O leader!
You and your friends - hold on!
Not much [time] is left [until the release of your bodies]
The frost of the [morgue] refrigerators
Will be melted by the warmth of the scene [of the funeral]
And the scene [of the funeral] is no less warm than the ground"

Text posted on the official Fatah Facebook page, together with the repost of text posted by terrorist Baha Alyan on Dec. 12, 2014

Posted text: "In continuation of the transfer of the body of Martyr (Shahid) Baha Alyan last night (i.e., early morning hours of Sept. 1, 2016), here is what was written in his will:"

Reposted text written by Baha Alyan: "The 10 commandments of every Martyr:
1. I instruct the factions not to take responsibility for my Martyrdom-death, for my death was for the homeland and not for you.
2. I do not want any posters or T-shirts, as my memory will not only be a poster hanging on the walls.
3. I instruct you not to exhaust my mother with questions meant to win over the sentiments of the spectators and nothing more.
4. Do not sow hatred in my son's heart.
7. Do not look for what I had written before my Martyrdom-death, look for what is the reason behind my Martyrdom-death.
8. Do not cry out in my funeral procession or push each other, but be only pure during the funeral prayer, nothing more.
9. Do not turn me into another number you count today and forget tomorrow.
10. I will see you in Paradise."
