Islamic-Christian council says UN partition plan gave land to Jews “who had no right to it”

Secretary-General of the Islamic-Christian Council for Jerusalem and the Holy Places Hanna Issa: “The decision to partition Palestine, which disowned the greater part of Palestine and gave it to the Jews – to people who had no right to it whatsoever… and yet, this was the UN’s decision. The UN should rethink [its decision] and give Palestine its rights, like the rest of the world.”
