Palestinian Arab nation is rightful "owner" of all Israel, "from the River to the Sea"
Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida - Nov. 17, 2014

Op-ed by Adel Abd Al-Rahman (pen name of Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul), regular columnist for Al-Hayat Al-Jadida:
“The Zionist movement, and alongside it the capitalist West, have failed to advance the idea behind the slogan [‘A land without a people for a people without a land’], because the Palestinian Arab nation, the owner of the land, the history and the culture, challenged it with all its might and will, by adhering to its cause, culture and national project. The fact that [the Palestinian people] agreed to a compromise and political settlement, absolutely does not mean that it has turned its back on its history and national identity, and does not contradict the fact that it, and it alone, is the owner of the historical Palestinian Arab land from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea, whose total area amounts to 27,009 square kilometers (Note: The combined size of Israel and the Palestinian areas is roughly 27,000 square kilometers; the combined area of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip is 6,220 square kilometers. The size of “Palestine” suggested in this op-ed includes Israel.) Yet the true wish of the Palestinian people and its legitimate leadership is to make peace and stop the cycle of violence and war, alongside other actors – those that motivated it to give the two-state solution along the June 4, 1967 borders a chance, together with the promise of the right of return of the Palestinian refugees to their homes and lands, according to UN resolution 194.”
