Palestinian journalist and PA TV host refer to Israel as the "occupied Palestinian Interior"

Official PA TV program Free Space, on Nakba Day which marks “the catastrophe” of Israel’s establishment
Israeli Arab journalist Muhammad Abu Alan: “I can say that the activities to mark Nakba Day (i.e., “the catastrophe,” Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) in occupied Palestine (i.e., Israel) are more widespread and satisfying than in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip.”
Official PA TV host: “Do you really think that in the occupied Palestinian Interior (i.e., Palestinian term for Israel) the participation in marking Nakba Day and in its activities is better than in the West Bank or in the Gaza Strip?”
Muhammad Abu Alan: “Yes, I can say so with certainty. When you see the Palestinians marking the memory of the Nakba in Palestine that is occupied since ’48 (i.e., Israel) you see that they are of all ages, children, elderly, women, students, workers, from all echelons [of society].”
