"Approximately 40,000 people said the Friday prayers yesterday [Feb. 2, 2018] at the Al-Aqsa Mosque plazas. The media department of the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf [Foundation] conveyed that despite all [Israel’s] stringent measures at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque gates and the warm weather, approximately 40,000 worshippers came - residents of Jerusalem, the Palestinian Interior (i.e., Palestinian term for Israel) that was occupied in 1948, and Islamic delegations from Turkey."
