Fatah spokesman in Gaza Fayez Abu Aita: “I want to remind [you] that during the [second] Intifada (i.e., PA terror campaign 2000-2005) the members of the [Palestinian] Security Forces were the first to defend the Palestinian people, the first to strike [at] the settlers and the first to stand up to the oppressive Israeli hostilities in the cities, and in the refugee camps, and everywhere.”
